CHAPTER 21 | Knives and Gems

Not feeling that two days had passed they were in Turkey, Cindy immediately took care of permission from her university to follow the expedition. While Sara also takes care of her college leave to take an internship for the preparation of her final assignment while taking part in the expedition.

In two days, the expedition participants from all over the world exceeded the expectations of the organizers, then they divided the participants into five teams A, B, C, D and E. In order for Ken to team up with Sara and Cindy, Ken then contacts William, a computer genius to hack into the new world network.

Finally Sara, Cindy and Ken are arranged in a team that is Team E who is preparing to follow to Russia. But before all teams are dispatched, they will get a three-day briefing in Turkey and take a day dive in the ongoing research there.

“John, let's have lunch together” pinta Sara called him after seeing their names out on the expedition team list.

“Good. Share your location, I will soon follow” said John.

“Master, the name of the three of them entered the team that will soon depart for Russia. Then what are your next plans?” selena asked, talking to John.

“Russia. I also happen to want to practice there. Do we have contacts in Russia?” ask John next.

“There's sir. His name is Nikolai, a former Russian special forces and retired secret agent. I'll send you her profile soon, '' Selena said.

“Good. Please immediately take care of the preparation for my departure to Russia through Croatia, Germany, Belarus within a week.” continued John to avoid spying opponents.

“I'll be by land from Belarus to Russia” said John next

“Good sir” said Selena.

“One more thing, send our agents to follow their expedition activities in each location. And immediately report when they find something there” continued John

“Good tuan” continued Selena who immediately worked on all John's orders.

John immediately glided to the dining place that was shared by Sara.

A restaurant in the Besiktas area, Cindy and Sara were sitting waiting for John to arrive. They do not realize that Ken is not far from them while monitoring his surroundings.

John then appears and searches for Ken's whereabouts, then nods his head after seeing him. Ken then rushed to leave them and returned to his hotel. As he looked around, John sharpened his sense of hearing to find that two people were watching towards Sara and Cindy.

Then he casually approached towards the two people who then pretended not to care about them. John smiled, then rebuked him.

“If you want to convey something, say it directly. No need to hide” John told the two men.

“Sorry, who are you?” ask one of them who pretends not to recognize him.

“Tell to Violet, no need to spy on us. I know your whereabouts within 300 meters near me” said John with a smile that made a change in the look on the faces of the two people.

Then John passed towards the intended restaurant, while the two men left the place to report it to Violet.

“Araga”'s incredible ability muttered Violet while smilingly receiving reports from the two men.

“Alright, pull all our spies, no longer need to spy on them. Joli, prepare for their departure immediately after debriefing” Violet said

“Good miss” Joli said

“I want to see John, are you going to be on my expedition” Violet muttered back.

At the restaurant, Sara passionately told him about the whoabouts and the debriefing of his expedition. Also don't forget they told me about meeting Ken on a team with them.

“John, that Ken looks good, dashing and also handsome. It's nice to have a countryman together on this expedition beside Cindy” Sara said, glancing at John hoping he was jealous.

John remained cold as if he had not listened to Sara's words.

“Cindy, what are your next plans for the expedition. What is the purpose of the expedition?” john asked Cindy and made Sara pout.

“In debriefing, we have not yet got the details of what is being searched. But at the conference I got information from Anthony, my old college friend. That they were looking for a knife made from the bones of the first man” Cindy said

“Bissue?” john and Sara are almost at the same time.

“Kisau and Permata” murmured John frowned.

“Why John, why do you want to know about this expedition?” ask the curious Cindy.

“Iya. Why not sign up for this expedition, John”, Sara said.

“As I have said, I feel this expedition is quite dangerous. So I don't want you guys to be in danger” John said.

“Why John, are you worried about us?” cindy asked teasingly as she brought her body closer and embraced John's arm.

Sara's face reddened at Cindy's attitude, she didn't want to lose either.

“Do you like us?” timpal Sara also approached and embraced John's other arm.

John's eyes twitched, his nose dripping with blood felt two lumps felt on both arms. His head suddenly dizzy.

Children today are too outspoken spontaneously, John thought

“Ng.. anu, as a friend of course I am worried about you” said John while trying to release their embrace on both arms.

Cindy and Sara giggled at John's nervous behavior.

“Kakak, do not monopolize yourself donk” said Sara.

“So my sister wants to share?” cindy said with a smile to Sara blinking her eyes.

John was creeped out to hear their conversation which was accompanied by laughter Cindy and Sara.

After finishing their meal, they returned to Selena's house.

The day of departure, Sara and Cindy prepare to leave for Russia and are escorted by John and Selena to the Turkish airport. After their departure, John and Selena look for a place for lunch.

Just sitting down, John heard three men coming armed into the restaurant and then shooting at people inside the restaurant, especially toward John and Selena.

John reflexively protects Selena from being hit by bullets. They both fell to the floor with a hug that made Selena's face red.

“You all right? ask John

“Nothing tuan” Selena said.

“You wait here” command John while turning the table to protect Selena.

John then moved quickly to attack the shooters. Shortly thereafter, he also destroyed the three men. John looked around, looking like some people were seriously injured. Then John immediately provided first aid to them before the ambulance and the police came to the scene.

Before the arrival of the officers, John had invited Selena to leave the place.

“Master, are they targeting us. Who are they?” ask Selena

“I'm not sure yet. But one thing is certain they have nothing to do with Khaga. He couldn't have done such a stupid pointless thing” John said.

Arriving at home, Selena cleans John's body and pulls out a few bullets that penetrate his body.

“Do you have a local police contact?” ask John.

“There tuan” says John.

“Contact him and investigate who they are from the information the police have collected. I'm going back to the scene doing my own investigation” continued John.
