CHAPTER 9 | Tom Smith “The Daddy”

Robert and his friends immediately approached Cindy

“How are you Cindy. You're just getting pretty. I can't wait for dinner with you. What if you join us in Gold room” take Robert.

“Sorry Robert, I was eating with my fiancee” Cindy said

Robert turned his head towards John who was said to be Cindy's fiancee. Her lips smile cynically “This guy is your fiancee? I think he's your driver that you're eating” said Robert with a mocking laugh at his friends.

“Include me Robert Pattison of the Pattison family, my family the owner of the investment company Pattison, Co.”, Robert said as he extended his hand.

“Sorry, I'm still eating, my hands are dirty. My name is John Araga. Orphaned. Unemployment” said John briefly coupled with the explosion of laughter of the surrounding people. Including Cindy was amused almost spitting out her food at John's words. Cindy looked in awe at John who looked calm and indifferent with the people around him.

Only Robert had his face reddened, he had wanted to humiliate John, but John's playful reply made him feel ridiculed by people. He snorted then went towards the Gold room he had booked followed by his friends.

Inside that room he picked up his phone saying “Will, get to Heaven immediately. Bring people here” and close it. Robert looked towards Cindy and John who were eating. Her heart was hot to see Cindy laughing and smiling at John while eating her food.

Soon a group of people appeared in the restaurant, led by a black man in front of him, and the man headed straight for Gold's room. After whispering with Robert, the black man and his two friends walked up to Cindy's desk.

“Nona, sir Robert invites you to come to Gold room” the man said as he invited.

John from earlier already knew what happened and heard the man's intentions then replied “Tell Robert, Cindy is not going anywhere. He's here with me eat”

“You who dare to rule me like that” continued the man as he walked towards John then kicked their table.

Cindy nervously frightened at the man's action, which she then saw the three of them begin to surround John.

“I'm Will Smith, nephew of the owner of this restaurant.”follow the man named Will while glaring at John.

John casually picked up a cup of tea then took a sip and said “Only someone's dog would dare to act up, have your boss come here to clean up your poop”

“John...” heard Cindy whispering towards him being cut off by a wave of John's hand stopping her words.

Will's face turned red at John's words, then he blinked at the two next to him and said to the guests at the restaurant

“Gentlemen and ladies, I'm sorry this restaurant is closed. Your food, we pay please leave here.” said Will evict guests there. The restaurant visitors who felt something was wrong, went straight from the restaurant which then closed the door by Will's people who stood there.

Will then gazes at John “You think yourself a hotshot, with that kind of appearance you are not worthy to eat at this restaurant” Will said back.

Will then gives the code that makes his men pull Cindy out of her chair and drag her into the Gold room. “John..” cried Cindy terrified.

John was still sitting in his chair quietly as if nothing had happened. Then Will starts kicking John's desk so that the table is in a mess, but John already stands facing Will while holding a tea cup in his hand and continues to sip it.

A sharp look in John's eyes stared at Will, momentarily making Will feel goosebumps for him. Then she screams “Serang her!”

Will's orders made his subordinates start attacking towards John, but John swiftly dodged each of the attacks while still holding the teacup in his hand. With one leg he started kicking everyone who attacked him, until they were all bounced away by the kick.

The kick was simple, but the effect made the men vomit blood and have difficulty standing up. Will saw that so furious. Will is a level 5 black tyre fighter, his ferocious attack directly directed at John. But John dodged it simply, then splashed the hot tea he had on Will's face.

Will holds his face hot “Damn it!” yells. Then he would attack again, but for a moment John's movement was directly in front of him.

Plaque!

John slapped Will in the face. Will flew away from that light slap. He easily stood back up and vomited blood. The waiters of the restaurant who saw the incident stood trembling while hiding.

John then poured the tea back into his cup, then said “ A street dog just a lot of koan”

“K..You” said Will who became furious then stood up with difficulty.

“You will accept the consequences, you have no idea who to deal with he said next.

“Consequences?”.

“What consequences will happen? Are you going to attack me again with that weak ability of yours?” ask John

“I give you time to make me bear the consequences you mean it” continued John while sitting back at the table leisurely sipping his tea.

Will then picks up his phone and spins the number.

“Uncle Tom, there are people making a fuss in your restaurant.” Will said.

A few minutes later, a middle-aged man of great stature kicked at the door of the restaurant. His body resembles a fighter from the wrestling arena in the online media.

“Who dares to make a fuss in my restaurant ini” snapped the guy.

“That's it's uncle Tom” Will said as he pointed towards John who was sitting on his back to them.

“Do he not know who Daddy is” he continued as he walked towards John while folding his sleeves.

“You still like to rush Tommy” John said.

“Si..Who are you” asked Tom Smith nervously stopped his steps.

“You dare to beat me up?” john asked next as he turned his face slowly to look at Tom Smith.

“Siap. Dragon Commander Tom Smith. Don't dare!” tom continued after clearly seeing John's face. He felt trembling meeting his legendary figure.

Will Smith and his men were shocked to see Tom Smith's attitude change.

“You why uncle?” ask Will.

“Diam” says Tom Smith snapped at his nephew.

Tom Smith is a member of the special forces of the Dragon unit which was his elite elite army of the Canadian government thirty years ago. And Tom is one of the remaining members. The identities of the special forces were kept secret, including John who was then the special forces head coach.

“Your niece has interrupted my meal” said John next.

Tom then turned to Will and his friends with red eyes “You! How presumptuous!” said Tom who immediately kicked Will and his friends.

“Go all of you from here” continued Tom expel those who immediately flushed.

“You saved my woman from Gold room” John's next command.

“Ready do” said Tom immediately rushed towards the Gold room, then kicked the door

“Who of you dares to make a fuss here? ask Tom.

“Da..Daddy” said Robert stammered seeing the appearance of Tom in the Gold room.

“Detach the woman, then you all leave here” Tom said as he pointed towards Cindy.

No one dared to refute the words of Tom, a former special soldier who was notoriously loud in this region of the city. They let Cindy go and left the restaurant with a frightened face.

From behind the Silver room, Evelyn and her husband Howard, who had seen the whole scene from the start, left the restaurant.

Cindy then ran towards John then hugged him “You okay John? tannya

“It's okay. Good thing Tom Smith is coming soon” said John.

“Thankful” says Cindy

“You okay miss?” tom asked Cindy to feel guilty about the incident, glancing at John begging for forgiveness from her.

“It's okay. Thank you for your help, Tom” Cindy continued

“Ah, it's okay. It's.” said Tom who she didn't continue after seeing the wink from John on her.

“Cindy, Tom wants to apologize for today's incident that happened to you in this place” John said as he glanced at Tom.

“True. Right miss. From today miss is free to come here to use our Diamond room without reservation as our apology” said Tom next.

“Really?” let Cindy be happy. “It just so happens that tonight we will have dinner here. We ask for help from you” Cindy said while bowing her body.

“No problem miss. Tonight we will celebrate a special dinner for you” said Tom next
