CHAPTER 11 | I found it

“Everything, I introduce this Miss Violet from the New World Company Romania” said Jim introducing Violet to all who were in the room

“Violet? The New World Company? Romania?” John suddenly paused for a moment to eat his meal, but he continued to eat casually

Everyone in the room admired Violet's beauty, after speaking a little stale and arriving at the important thing that Cindy had been waiting for. “Ekspedisi”

“Our company is in expedition work to trace the historical traces of ancient nations for the sake of science” said Violet.

“Currently we do 3 research locations, in Brazil, in China and another one in Egypt. We heard Miss Cindy is one of the doctors of Archaeology who teaches at Harvard” University, continued Violet

John, listening to the conversation from the beginning, sends a text message to Jiro to investigate Violet, the New World Company and the expedition they are conducting. John is suspicious that this Romanian company has anything to do with his twin brother Khaga.

“No problem miss Cindy, we will wait for news from you” said Violet.

“Ehm, if you may know, I am interested in your friend who is sitting next to you who from the beginning is still enjoying his food” continued Violet while smiling at Cindy.

“Oh Yes, sorry. Introduce this John. My fiancee” Cindy's

“John, it's rude for people to ask about you but you still continue to eat food like that” said the next Jim

John then stopped eating and said “Sorry, I'm less interested in business talks. But I am very interested in the expedition Miss”

“We found an ancient book, that says there is an ancient artifact since the time of the first human civilization made of human bones” continued Violet while looking at what changes happened to John's face from every information he would say. Unfortunately John's face did not show any change, he remained calm listening to Violet's words.

“The artifact is believed to be a weapon that at that time could kill immortal beings living in this world” continued Violet.

When he mentioned the word immortal, John fell silent. A change occurred to his face that could only be seen if he was carefully observed. While everyone else looked towards Violet listening to her story. Only Violet looked carefully at John.

Everyone in the room laughed at Violet's words. No one believes in the existence of immortals.

After that Violet took a glass of wine and took a sip.

“Sorry, We can't tell you all about this expedition info because it's confidential. But if Mr. John and Ms. Cindy are willing to join this research. We will certainly tell you more about this expedition” Violet said next

“Ok, the night is late, we will be back. Business matters, Jim will explain further to Mr. Andre. I say goodbye first” said Violet as she stood up.

Then Violet came out of the room escorted by Jim and Andre. After the two of them returned, business talks continued between Jim and Andre. Cindy and John choose to be alone to the terrace in the Diamond room and then chat there.

Robert gritted his teeth watching the two couples fondly leave. Meanwhile John breathed a sigh of relief after being away from them.

“Ah, it feels relieved to be able to leave the room” said John

“You don't like eating with my family?” said Cindy with a frown

“Not so, this play is too heavy for me to do it” said John honestly which made Cindy lower her face sadly.

“You didn't expect this to be real right?” ask John to Cindy.

“Ti..No. gabe. Of course not. It's just a skit” said Cindy. But in his heart of sadness, he hoped this was not a charade and John was truly his fiancee.

John's eyes twitched at Cindy's heart, then shifted the conversation.

“What do you think about the expedition?” ask John to Cindy

Cindy frowned thinking something. “I've read about the book, but somewhere.” said Cindy while trying to remember about it.

“Indeed I have read there is a Sect that calls itself the Longevity Sect, they are a society that specialized in researching and searching for everything related to the immortality”

“It looks like it's their book, but more than that I don't know” Cindy continued later

“Master, we found it” Violet said to the person next to her.

The night was late, dinner was over. They are also on their goodbye to return to their respective homes.

After all was gone, Tom who was still there approached John.

“Master, do you need a ride?” ask Tom to John.

“Thank you Tommy. Please take me to where Jiro” says John

“Good tuan” replied Tom who rushed to pick up his car to deliver John to Jiro's residence.

In the car, John's phone rang “Ya Jiro. What did you find?”

“Master, we found a 95 percent match that New World Company belongs to your twin brother Khaga.”

“Tell me later, I'm on my way to your place with Tom” John said as he hung up

The car drove into a quiet night to Jiro's residence in an elite housing estate located on the slopes of a hill on the edge of Terrace.
