KING GULF

KING GULF
Chapter 56's

Mew enters the Mile's room after he receives his orders.

"Phi did you call me?"

"Hm sit down" Because of the previous incident, the atmosphere of the two was a little awkward.

"I have a new assignment and I can only trust you"

"What is that?"

"I want you to go south. To the dead mountain"

"Dead mountain?"

"Yes people call it that because the people who go in there no one ever comes back again. They say the men were attacked by vampires on the mountain. I need you to check it out. You can take Boat with you" Mew was a little speechless, the trip to the south was quite time-consuming and it meant he would part ways for a long time with his lover.

"Mew you hear me?"

"When should I go?"

"What about today? Faster is better, right?" Quite surprising, because Mile told me this so suddenly. Mew nodded and he immediately stood up.

"I'll tell Boat" Mew left. He closed the door to the Mile room. Slightly suspicious of Mile and worrying about Gulf at the moment.

...****************...

Along the way there was no talk, Bright continued to chase after the Gulf which spurred his horse quickly. Until they arrive at a house that previously Gulf and Mew visited.

"Whose house is this?"

"You'll find out later" Bright just followed him until he saw someone forging a sword. Her....

"Sir, am I bothering you?" Amphol who realized it looked up and immediately fell silent to see someone who was beside the Gulf.

"No. I thought you were coming with a guy last night" Amphol ignored him while Bright was silent. He lost his words immediately. Aren't you looking for her all this time?

"He has other business. Oh yes he's my bodyguard, General Bright. Bright he's Amphol the one we're looking for" The two looked at each other and only nodded lightly.

Gulf opened the long box he was carrying and was directly observed by Amphol.

"Hows it? Can you fix it?"

"I can't believe I can see this sword again. This sword was made by my father, but I'll try to fix it" Amphol took it and was ready to repair it. Gulf glanced at Bright. He was curious about her, his reaction when he met Amphol even made him more silent.

...****************...

A few hours passed. Gulf looked at the sword displayed on the wall of the house with Bright continuing to follow it.

"Your majesty, did you leave again last night?"

"You think?"

"How did you find this place?" Gulf turned to look at Bright.

"How I find him doesn't matter. But, I'm a little disappointed in you" Bright looked at her a little surprised.

"What?!"

"Our relationship is very close, right? You always help me whenever I have a problem, but you never tell me about your problem. You think I don't know where you've been all this time? Aren't you looking for him? Now that you've met him, why just shut up?" A little surprising to him. Bright always sees Gulf busy with his work but how does he know it?

"Your highness.. L'm... It has become my duty as a bodyguard to help and protect you. But I'm not looking for him"

"Bright you should know about me. While at Saran's residence, I couldn't have easily complied to wait outside" Bright silenced. Is correct. Now he knows that his king knows about him.

"I'm sorry, your majesty, I'm guilty. I won't lie to you anymore" Gulf sighed, he couldn't completely blame Bright.

"Alright, forget. I want you-"

"His Majesty can we talk?" Amphol's arrival cut through the chatter of the two.

Gulf looked at his sword that was still not repaired.

"I've tried to add some material. But your sword kept rejecting him"

"What do you mean?"

"Your sword always rejects the material I give you. They never fused, and I saw in my father's book the record of this sword. He said that this sword was made from a mixture of pure iron and human ashes"

"What?!"

"I guess to put it together, I need human ashes and that's your grandfather's ashes" Gulf was speechless to think.

"Your highness, isn't your grandfather's tomb in the kingdom" Gulf raised his hand as a gesture to make Bright stop talking.

"I'll go to get it. While I'm gone, I want you to stay here"

"Your Majesty, I'll come with you"

"I'll go alone. The journey there is very far. I can take it in a short time. Besides my sword is here, as my bodyguard I'm assigning you to stay here" Bright couldn't say, of course if he's on a long journey. Bright was a little upset. Not ready to be left out both.

"Then, sir, I hope you don't mind holding him for a while. He's a good worker, you can ask him for help if you need him. I'm going to go now"

"No, your highness" So quickly the Gulf disappeared from his sight. Amphol who saw it was quite surprised, he had never seen someone that fast. Bright fell silent, he slightly glanced at Amphol who was behind him. How should he behave now?

...****************...

Gulf comes to the hunter's mansion and sees Mew talking to Boat. He also approached her.

"Prepare. I have to go now" Boat held back his laughter, knowing that Mew would meet the Gulf before they left. But he saw someone coming who seemed like his senior was not going anywhere.

"Phi I don't think you need to go anymore" Mew did not understand a bit and he turned around to follow Boat's gaze. A smile instantly appeared on his face when he saw the Gulf before him.

...****************...

Mew and Gulf are in Mew's room. A Gulf coincidence existed when he planned to meet him.

"So you just put on your stupid face. What was? You're so happy to see me coming?" Mew laughed he couldn't even get angry when his lover called him stupid and just tightened his arms around Gulf's waist.

"That's enough. I came here to tell you something" Mew looked at Gulf back to his serious face.

"I'm going to Poompat Kingdom now. My sword needs my grandfather's ashes to reconnect"

"Hm? Why use human ashes? Isn't that just an ordinary sword?"

"I don't understand it myself, but I think it's what makes my sword even kill vampires. If it was an ordinary sword, it might have been a long time since my sword was destroyed" Mew fell silent. Gulf laughed seeing his lover a little moody.

"Just a few days. I'll run as fast as I can to get there"

"No, it's not that. Coincidentally you came here just now I'll see you. I have to go to do the job p'Mile gave me"

"Oh where?"

"To the south I have to check something there" The look on Gulf's face changed instantly.

"South?"

"I promise I'll finish it quickly and come back. While I'm not around, don't come here especially don't see p'Mile. Youunderstand?" Because Mew forbids it, he plans to meet Mile when Mew isn't around.

"alright. But I remind you, don't let people there know if you're close to my kingdom let alone say you're close to me"

"Why?"

"There is only a little dispute between kingdoms. If they knew, it might be a little unsafe for you" Although not fully understanding, Mew simply nodded and hugged Gulf tightly.

"Just be yourself"

"You too" Gulf slightly smiled, a plan flashed through his mind.

...****************...

Mile opened the safe in her room and she took a small box. Though hesitant, he immediately put it in his jacket pocket. After making sure Mew and Boat left, he immediately prepared to go to the Gulf palace.

...****************...

Mile gazed at the majestic royal palace of Traipipattanapong. He clenched his hands, trying to walk quietly without arousing suspicion.

"Can I meet the Gulf king?" Mile said to a soldier standing guard.

"Oh Mr. Mile. I'm sorry but your majesty said that for a few days he had to go on palace business"

"What?! Where's where?"

"On that we don't know. Just a few hours ago he left" Where? He can't be with Mew, right? No. gabe. Where am I supposed to look for him now?

"Master Mile?" The bodyguard reprimanded Mile who instantly became silent.

"alright. Maybe next time I'll come again" Mile left. His heart was now not calm, considering that surely the hunters would not be silent.

...****************...

Gulf arrived at the border of Poompat kingdom without thinking long he entered the territory of Poompat kingdom, he ran as soon as possible to come to the palace.

The closer to the palace, the more exhausted he felt. Gulf felt his heart pounding rapidly and cold sweat gushing out from his body. His sight began to blur.

Bruk!!

His body fell down while running. What the hell's going on? The people around him began to approach the Gulf to help him.
