Chapter 39's

Nick looked at his men standing in front of him. He remembered those in charge of overseeing the Nattawin clan. Why are they here?

"What do you want? Why not stay there?" The three vampires looked doubtful and were also afraid to say so.

"You're just gonna shut up like this?" The three immediately kneeled.

"Our master would like to tell if there is someone who is out of the Nattawin clan"

"Who?" They pushed each other to talk.

"He's the king of the Gulf" said one in a quiet voice.

"What?! And you didn't catch him?" Nick bound the three with his strength so that they suffocated until his body was lifted up.

"Sorry akh. sir. But-before you. said if just watch and don't act"

"Basic useless!!" Nick adds to his powers so they die with their heads detached from his body.

Nick was silent, he was still annoyed with his subordinates but he was also happy after hearing Gulf back. He rushed out to look for her.

The great hall which became the meeting place of the higher-ups and the king of Up. The atmosphere is quite stressful. No one spoke except Up who expressed his frustration that Weir could escape from prison.

"So, you guys are just gonna shut up like this?! Mr. Pakorn, you've always asked me to release him. Did you actually get it out? Didn't you send someone to jail?" Mr. Pakorn immediately knelt down with a frightened face. Everyone was shocked by Mr. Pakorn's actions.

"Not your highness. I was wrong, I admitted that I planned that way. But really this time it wasn't me who set him free"

"Please! Mr Pakorn! You know your actions are against the law. Even if you didn't take it out. But if this doesn't happen, you'll get it out. Aren't we?" Mr. Pan shouted at him.

"Your Majesty please forgive me!"

"Your highness. This can't be allowed. He's already planned it. We have to hold him! I'm sure the others agree too. Although his majesty does not have the authority to hold someone in this kingdom. I'll hold him to the verdict of the other higher-ups!" Some of the officials immediately agreed.

"I am willing to be given a noble punishment" Mr. Pakorn could do nothing more, Up already knew his plan. He was immediately taken away by a few guards.

"I seemed to see that there was someone not present here" Everyone immediately checked the people around him.

"Mr Nat is absent, your majesty. I heard he was sick so couldn't be here" Up noticed some people looked nervous when asked.

"really? You, check it out at his residence" Up directly ordered a soldier to leave.

"alright. I want you to go look for him, if someone pretends not to know, then-"

The large door opened stopping the talking Up and presented the breathless Mew after running as quickly as possible.

"Who is he?" Some of the officers did not recognize him.

"Master Mew, what's wrong?" Ask Perth. Mew looks to find someone he is chasing. Until he saw her, Mew pulled out his sword and immediately threw it towards Up. Up directly slightly lowered his head avoiding the sword. Everyone was shocked including Perth who immediately stood in front of Up to protect him.

"You! Guards got him! He tried to kill your majesty! " The soldiers approached him.

"No! Waitaminute! Mew sir what are you doing? Your sword's almost about your highness" Perth knows that's not what Mew meant. Mew could not answer, he was busy taking out his spell paper and reciting the spell that was immediately thrown towards Up, precisely he threw it to a vampire who was behind Up. Kao tries to get close to Up, but Mew continues to annoy him. Kao continued to avoid his spell paper.

"Perth protect your majesty, he'll kill her!" Perth slightly understood, he immediately pulled out his sword carrying Up away by swinging his sword in all directions. The people there did not understand at all and some looked at each other. The plot to assassinate Up seems to have failed, and they immediately come out to do the backup plan. Mew chases after the escaped Kao.

Up and Perth go out to find a safe place. Perth never stopped swinging his sword as did Up who also swung his sword in all directions. Until they saw Bright approaching him.

"What are you guys doing?"

"Wine! I think a vampire came and wanted to attack your majesty. I have to get her to a safe place"

"What?! Follow me!" They went to where the hunters rested.

"Sir, I'm asking for your help. Keep your majesty up. I think there's a vampire who wants to attack him" Bright immediately handed the noble Up to some hunters.

"What?!"

"Master Mew is chasing him now. I want you to help him" said Perth and the hunters rushed to scatter to find Mew and the vampire.

"Perth you better be here. I have to help them" Perth nodded and brought Up inside.

Bright was always ready with his sword, he could only use his instincts to sense someone approaching him. Until he felt someone's footsteps. Bright turned around and almost slashed at his subordinates.

"General critical!"

"What's wrong?"

Elsewhere, the Gulf reached a village that was busy with their activities. Some of them looked at him strangely because he was dressed very covered. Suddenly from behind people ran past him. Gulf did not understand the people who seemed to be in a hurry, until he detained someone.

"What's wrong?"

"Someone found another woman's body there. I want to see it, because this is the umpteenth time that many people have been killed" That person immediately left. The curious Gulf went to see.

Gulf stood in the back among the people gathered to see the dead body being lifted by the soldiers who served in the village. Gulf can smell a vampire around him. He immediately believed that the person killed was the work of a vampire.

Gulf tried to circulate his gaze looking for the existence of the vampire, until he saw it. Gulf focused his gaze. The vampire began to feel pain and he was shocked as he stared at Gulf. Frightened to see the Gulf, the vampire ran away from the people and stabbed himself in the chest to death.

Gulf managed to handle it and he saw the body passing through it. The people gathered dispersed after the body was taken away. Until he saw someone he knew, he quickly put on the hood of his jacket to cover his face.

Why is the kid here?

His journey to the palace was delayed because he was curious about the events in the village. He had to kill the vampires that roamed there.

Mew chases after Kao who continues to take him into the forest. Until he stops, Mew throws a circle of spells to hold him back, but Kao quickly avoids him.

Mew pulled out his sword, turned around to slash at Kao. Kao's speed certainly exceeded that so he easily dodged. As Kao continues to try to approach her, Mew attempts to evade her attack.

Kao did not manage to slash it and just slashed it in some parts. Mew grimaced, trying to keep avoiding him and attacking him.

"A human like you can never attack me" Mew clasped his sword tightly, blood pouring down his sword.

"Where's Weir?" Mew secretly channeled his power into his sword making a circle that surrounded him.

"You think I'll tell you? You better die!" Kao moved at a speed approaching Mew. Not to touch Mew, Kao bounced hard hit a tree until it collapsed. Kao grimaced, Mew quickly sealed it until Kao could not move. Mew approached.

"I asked you again, where's Weir?" Kao kept silent looking at her angrily.

"You're looking for yourself!"

Jamba!

Mew stabbed his heart deeply with emotion. Kao screamed in pain until he became unconscious and died.

Meanwhile in the city people looked excited after hearing the news there was a fight between soldiers in the palace.

Bright did not expect that there would be a rebellion, he knew the army of soldiers who attacked the palace. They are Mr. Pakorn's men. Unprepared, the palace gatekeeper was killed in the attack. Bright fought in front of the palace, trying to hold them in and waiting for his troops to come.

The higher-ups who were in the palace were already secured in a room. They looked worried, and some were pale-faced. Weir's followers were worried and afraid of the events that were happening. They can't do anything. Or if they fight back, their lives will be lost.

"You people! Tell me, you guys know about this?" Mr. Pan looked at those who had been acting strangely since earlier.

"No. I don't know, I'm even surprised by this. How can there be such a rebellion? And who was the one who broke through earlier? He tried to kill his highness Up"

Many wounded people were lying in the vast palace courtyard as well as people who were still fighting. Bright continued to swing his sword, several people memorizing him at once. Bright slashed those people. Because Bright was hard to beat the soldier kept coming making him almost overwhelmed.

Mew slashed at someone who was about to attack Bright. At that moment Bright's army finally came, and the rebellious soldiers were partly fighting and partly retreating.

"Bright are you okay?"

"I'm fine. You're hurt, you better go somewhere safe treat your wound"

"You must protect your highness Up. I think they're planning to kill him. Let me handle it here" Bright nodded and headed straight for Up with some of his troops.

Sure enough, Bright saw Perth and Up fighting against some of the soldiers who came to them. Not only did it come from the front gate, those soldiers also took another path.

"You're splitting! And go to jail lest Mr. Pakorn be free" his troops split up, Bright help Perth and Up fight the invading soldiers.

Everything's been cleared up, thanks to Up not getting hurt. Bright gathered his troops and ordered to clean up the lying corpses and bring the wounded. A subordinate rushed to face him.

"General sir Pakorn is not in prison. I think they set him free" Bright sighed, knowing it would happen. He nodded and let the subordinate help the others.

Mew finished treating his own wound. Louis was busy dealing with people who were seriously injured. Soon Bright comes to check on Mew and the others.

"Sir, are you okay?"

"Yes I've treated him. How's your majesty Up?"

"He's resting in his room right now. Not hurt at all"

"Thank God. When I got to my room earlier I was intending to breathe some fresh air outside, I didn't think I saw that vampire casually entering the palace"

"Then what about the vampire?"

"I killed him. I think he's the only vampire who took part in this incident. Tomorrow I'll try to get all the hunters to find Nick's whereabouts. I think Weir is with him"

"alright. I beg your help, sir. If you need someone you can tell me" Mew just nodded.
