Gulf finished with his training today. He saw Pete coming into his room. He could finally hear what was happening in his palace.
"How's it?" Ask Gulf without a stale ado.
"I'm not too sure but I think he's okay"
"What do you mean?" Pete slightly shuddered at the Gulf staring at him. He knew this report would not satisfy the Gulf.
"So I met another hunter. He said if his magic formation back then failed. They were caught and attacked. Then Mew's master was captured by them" Slightly hesitant to say so he spoke softly. Gulf who was enthusiastic, now put on a very grim face. Gulf pulling Pete's shirt surprised him.
"What did you say?! He's arrested?! And you said she was okay?!"
"Your Majesty forgive me. I can't enter the palace now. If only the humans were guarding I could handle it but now there are a lot of vampires standing guard. After all, the hunter I met said that Mr. Mew was protected by a necklace" Gulf fell silent and took off his grip.
"Necklace?"
"You know that?" Ask Pete curious.
"I gave you the necklace. It was my mother's gift. He said the necklace would protect me when I was desperate. I thought it was a joke, but it really is.... Pete, how do you think you're gonna release him?"
"I don't know. But I think we should attack him with some vampires, because I think there are more vampires in the palace. Moreover, we should also be able to defeat Nick" Gulf speechless he was worried if many vampires in the palace, what if Up and Bright come there later? Will they be safe?
"What does Nick really want? Why would he be able to work with Weir?"
"He wants Mick's sword and yours" Apo said.
"He wants to kill me? Don't hope! Instead, I'll kill him!"
"We don't know if he's going to kill you yet"
"What do you mean?"
"You're Min's descendant. Even if you're half a vampire, you're pretty strong. Moreover, you can control the wild vampires"
"What's? Me?"
"Yes right, when I train wild vampires, they get restless when you're training" Pete said. Gulf himself doesn't know if he can control wild vampires.
"Oh yes sir I almost forgot to say something" Apo looked at Pete.
"I came out of the outside gate. I met a guy Nick. I think they already know where we are"
"Are they around here?" Ask Gulf.
"Silent. The barrier is too strong for them to break. Nick wouldn't dare to attack directly, he wasn't that strong. Pete you better send some men to monitor the border. If Nick's men act, kill them immediately" Pete nodded and walked out.

One week later, Weir gathered all the higher-ups for a meeting.
"Sir, what are you collecting us?" Ask Mr. Pan.
"How long has our kingdom not been ruled by a king? Our King Gulf Kanawut. Until now, I don't know where it is. We've been trying to find him and never found him. So since the office of Lord Weir the highest and noble Gulf has no brothers, then Lord Weir will replace our king" said one of the higher-ups.
Now the leaders are divided in two. The agreed and opposed camp. The ones who agreed were of course the ones who cooperated with Weir.
"Where could that be? Master doesn't mean I don't agree you're appointed our king. But, we must find the noble king of the Gulf first. We don't even know his condition right now"
"If he comes back. What will our people say? He killed his own people. He deserves to be overthrown. He shouldn't even be appointed King when we know he killed the former king's noble"
"Why are you talking about that? Didn't we agree not to talk about the former king's majesty?" Everything was silent for a moment in silence.
"But we've been looking for him for a long time. Not even a clue about his whereabouts have we found"
"Don't you guys know? The news of the noble king's disappearance had already been heard by the other kingdoms? Without a king, our kingdom is now weak"
"What about the holy sword? If mister Weir is to be made king, he must have the sword" Weir raised his hand, ordering everyone to be silent.
"A few days ago I asked the Bright general and he didn't even tell me. So I locked him up as punishment. His Majesty made a grave mistake against his own people. He was too selfish with his loyalty to the Gulf no matter what our kingdom and our people were. Not that I was unfaithful to the king's majesty, but I saw from his current situation. I heard that one of you released him. Wh who? Confess and tell me where the general is?" The higher-ups stared at each other. Mr. Pan looked calm. He knew if this would be discussed. But he was prepared not to act suspicious.
"No one wants to confess? Alright. Then-" then"
A bodyguard suddenly entered the room, stopping Weir who was talking.
"How dare you go in without asking permission?!" Weir looked at her suspiciously.
...****************...
Up along with his people and also Bright entered the room. Weir who had been sitting in the Gulf's oversized chair had returned down in line with other higher ups.
Up sat in the chair where the Gulf was, staring at the people he knew they were rebels. The higher-ups saw Bright standing beside Up. Bright was being the most wanted person right now, yet if he was together with Up those people could do nothing, and could only wait another time to catch him back.
"Her Majesty king Up welcome to our kingdom. Sorry we didn't welcome you well. We didn't know you were coming here" Everyone saluted.
"It's okay. What if we just go straight, I hear the Gulf will be replaced. Is that true?" They're tight-lipped.
"We are only worried about our kingdom which for some time has not had a king. And also... Our king has killed several people. Everyone agreed to replace him with Mr. Weir"
"Not your highness. We're still talking about it. Not everyone agrees to that"
"But when shall we wait for the king's majesty? Maybe now another kingdom is planning an attack on our territory. Mr. Weir could take his place, he deserved to be a king" Up only heard the person in front of him arguing. He wants to listen to their opinions. He can see now who supports the Gulf and who supports Weir.
"Why do you think Weir deserves to be king? Why not you?" Ask Up. The person was silent, glancing at Weir worriedly. He was one of Weir's supporters, not expecting to be asked questions like this.
"Master I don't deserve to be a king"
"But I think you're more deserving. I heard you controlled almost a quarter of the defenses in this kingdom. And you were born in this job. As for Weir, he was indeed good at taking care of all the royal affairs. But, he was just an outsider who was saved by my uncle and became his confidant" Everyone stared at Weir who was just speechless.
"To become a king, of course he must be a descendant of the previous king. Gulf has no brothers so if he disappears it means that the royal family is no more. Who will be the next king?" Up looked at the people in front of him who were listening to his explanation. He glanced at Weir a little. His seemingly indifferent and haughty face slightly irritated him.
"A people who were born in this kingdom, and have also dedicated themselves to this kingdom are worthy to replace it. But you prefer outsiders?" Everything's silent. They forgot the fact that Weir was not from this kingdom. When he first set foot in the kingdom of Traipipattanapong, Weir was one-eyed and greatly despised. But not long after, because Weir was so close to king Gil, the sycophants began to approach him.
...****************...
As the people argue. Bright look around. He wondered where the vampires were. After the meeting was over, Bright escorted Up to the prepared room.
"Your majesty, if you need anything, you can call me"
"You're Kara?" The waiter stopped.
"My father sent you here?" Kara turned around and bowed respectfully. He thought his king would not know.
"I'm sorry I didn't greet you properly, Your Majesty. Kara pays her respects to the noble king Up. I'm so happy to see you again, what about the emperor?"
"He's still lying on his bed. But now it's better"
"Good to hear. I used to come with your majesty to see the queen. But... Didn't expect that your highness told me to stay here to guard the noble Gulf"
"I thought the old man couldn't possibly hate him that much. Well you can come back, I'll call you if you need anything" Kara nodded and left.
...****************...
Bright out of room Up. He returned to his previous place, and it could be seen that everyone was still gathered in the same place.
"General Bright, you as a prisoner should be in prison. How did you get out? Who took you out" Bright just stared at him sharply.
"How can you bring the noble king Up here? Is this your plan for the Gulf king to survive? You know he's been a criminal"
"What is this your attitude towards the noble one? You only see from the surface and only hear from others. You don't know what's really going on"
"What?! You dare to talk like that?! It's obvious he's killing people. The bodyguard! Take him back to jail!" Bright pulled out his sword and directly pointed it right in front of his neck.
"You dare?! You can put me in jail but I'm not sure after that you'll survive. You know why His Majesty Up came here? All are the orders of the king! Know what you guys are?!" Everyone looked surprised especially Weir. His calm looks were now unable to hide his surprise.
"What?! Your Majesty has been found? Where's she?"
"Based on the cunning people!!" Bright re-inserted his sword and sauntered away without answering. He was tired of seeing the faces of the rebels. The loud call was not heard. He is now focused on seeing the condition of the palace and also he is curious where Mew is. Along the way to the palace he did not find it.
...****************...
Walking around the palace, some of the guards he did not know. He approached a guard who immediately received respect.
"Who are they? I've never seen him?"
"Oh they're Nick's master's bodyguards. They are helpful especially during watch hours at night"
"Nick's? Is he still here? Where's she?" Bright asked. He didn't think Nick was still here. He thinks Mew's plan failed? Concern arises, he does not know how Mew's condition is now.
"You looking for me?" Bright froze because of the sound of someone behind him.
