Chapter 26's

All the covers were opened, Win held tightly to his sword preparing to take it out. The guards looked at the items and opened some crates inside. The general also checked he got rid of some sacks and his eyes immediately caught someone hiding. Damn to Bright that the general could tell, the two looked at each other. Slowly Bright pulled out his sword, but he was covered again by the sacks that had previously covered him.

"Well you can pass the young master" said the general, making Bright who heard from inside quite surprised because he could survive even if he was found out. A relieved Win also told his freight train to walk.

Everything was already quite far from the border gate. Both Mew and Bright came out of their hiding places.

"We're lucky we weren't caught. I was worried when they asked for a check-up" Win said.

"We're lucky"

"No. I'm caught" Bright said with a puzzled look.

"What?!"

"General Nodt saw me earlier, but why didn't he arrest me?"

"Don't think too much. That's good, maybe he's on our side" Mew said.

"What if he reports it?" Ask Win worried.

"No. For a general I think if he wasn't on our side, he would have caught you" Mew said.

"Emmm. I think I should go now" Bright said, not wanting to think about it because there were more important things for him. Win handed over his horse and a large bag to Bright.

"The trip there takes almost a week, in which there is already food and medicine. Be careful" said Win.

Bright has left, Mew invites Win to the hunter's mansion.

"Mew how did you come here? I heard you were the one who was wanted there. How's there? Gulf found out?" Ask Mile.

"It's Win, he helped me" Mile and Win shook hands.

"Gulf was found, but now he's with the vampire clan. And also I came here to bring some hunters. There's too many vampires in there and the one leading them is Nick, Mick's son. I had to set up a magic formation to kill them" Win just stared silently at Mew, he did not understand what he was talking about. Mile was silent when he heard the Gulf had already been found.

"Why don't you bring him back?"

"Not now phi. He'll train there, after a few months I'll bring him back"

"Oh.. Eums.. Alright. I am thankful that he was found. You can take them. Be careful"

"Come Win. You can ask him later on the road" Invite Mew, he knows from the look on Win's face that so many questions in his head. While Mile was still busy with his own thoughts. He needs the Gulf now, but if thought about getting stronger the Gulf it would be good for him. He also restrained himself.

"Mile be patient" he murmured.

Mile enters her room and sees someone staring out the window watching Mew as he arranges his people.

"He's the one?" Mile just nodded.

Elsewhere on the other side of the palace. The footsteps of Nick who walks around here and there casually while thinking always makes people afraid. No exception now his confidants were kneeling to give a report of his investigation. Nick never takes away his aura which always presses his people.

"You haven't found it yet?" Ask Nick.

"Yet. But that hunter every day keeps killing our people" Kao said.

"Let her have fun. Two hunters won't make us short of people. Trusting those humans was so useless they just focused on searching for that stupid sword. Accelerate the search, we also have to get back my father's sword" His subordinate left. Nick stared at the photo of Gulf on display in a hallway of the palace.

"You'd better come back soon, or you'll lose your favorite people soon" he murmured.

Mew quickly gets the people he needs, he gets busy organizing his people on several freight trains. Everything is ready to go.

"Phi'm sorry I can't linger here"

"I understand go and always be careful. If you've brought Gulf, bring him here immediately" Mile said. Mew just nodded and he left the mansion.

In the journey so quiet no one spoke that it made the atmosphere a little tense.

"Are you sure there won't be any checks on your return?" Ask Mew.

"Yes. We used to bring back gifts from elsewhere. Besides, even if we're suspected, General Nodt will let us in"

"You sure about him?" Mew was a little confused by the thought of Win quickly trusting people.

"Emmm. I've heard of General Nodt and General Bright working together in war. I'm sure it must be because they were Bright's best friends yesterday at let pass" Mew seemed to think.

"You're a vampire hunter?" He asked what seemed very enthusiastic.

"Right" Win just nodded in understanding.

"Well, I'm confused where to explain it, but do you believe vampires exist side by side with us?"

"Of course I believe! I read a lot of books about vampires. I like it so much, they are so cool and also so powerful" Win said excitedly while Mew was stunned, he did not believe his reaction would be far from his expectations.

"Say mister Mew, are they real? Can I meet them?" Mew just laughed a little awkwardly.

"Listen, they're real but not all of them are good. You could've met a vicious vampire and been ready to suck you up until you ran out of blood"

"Then I'll kill them. Know it? At school I was one of the good swords" Mew felt tired of seeing Win who was like a child, he was so excited about his chatter without knowing the reality he was facing.

"Where are the vampires?"

"They were scattered in the palace. Weir is working with them. The people who disappeared, were all taken to the palace to serve as vampire food"

"Not everyone. Actually was... Your king is also a vampire" Win stared at Mew in disbelief.

"Relax him like no other vampire. Even though what you heard back then was that he killed people, it wasn't because of his will, but because something was controlling him back then"

"His mother was a vampire. So you could say now he's half a vampire"

"Then can I see him later? There are many things I want to ask him" he said enthusiastically.

"General!" Call Win who stopped him.

"Can I see you tomorrow?"

"Sorry young master there's still a lot of work to be done tomorrow"

"really? What about tomorrow?"

"I think I still have a job" Win bent his face in annoyance.

"You can say it if you don't want to. But don't expect. If you don't want me to come here to see you" Win said. Nodt just fell silent watching Win leave. He saw a freight train passing through it.

"What's he bringing now?" He muttered, he didn't care much about it and went back to work.

Boat slammed his sword he was very upset now.

"Damn it!!" Boat was holding his chest in pain. His body was now filled with sword incisions and scratches.

"Boat what's wrong? You okay?" Tanya Mew who just came to see the condition of Boat full of blood all over his body. Mew approached.

"Phi you're back" said the frail Boat.

"Everyone help me" everyone helped Boat to rest on the tree trunk.

"I'll treat it can someone get me some water?" Tanya Win took out some medicine in her bag.

"Boat what happened?" Ask Mew.

"They ganged on me earlier. As usual I searched for them and killed them, but suddenly a lot of vampires came up to me. It seems they already know where I am. Phi here is no longer safe. We need to find another hiding place" Mew nodded in understanding.
