KING GULF
Chapter 22's

The atmosphere became very quiet after First's departure. Only a heavy sigh rang out from Bright who was tired from being annoyed after dealing with First.

"Sir, are you okay?" Bright glanced at the person who was inviting him to speak, he only realized that the person had come with First earlier.

"I Win. I'm Mr. Pan's son. You can trust me, I don't support them. Even my family is looking for the king's majesty now" Bright looked at him.

"What do you want?" Win glanced at his left right and threw a key at Bright.

"Later the night after the change of the prison officers. They are my family's confidants. Come out at night and they'll show you a way out" Bright still looked at him suspiciously.

"Trust. You can come to my house later and give this to them" Win said.

"Master I have to go now. Be careful" Win said in a hurry and left immediately.

First walked quickly in annoyance. Bright's general was already in prison, but he still lost to him.

"Well! It really irritates my handsome face to turn blue because of it" said First. He turned back when he realized no one was responding. First circulated his gaze and did not find the Win that should now be behind him.

"Where is he?" Before long he saw Win who just came out.

"First wait for me" said Win feigning gasps.

"Why are you so fast. You left me almost lost in there" First looked at her a little suspiciously.

"You are very slow. Come quickly, many tasks I have to do" Win breathed a sigh of relief because First did not suspect him. He glanced back before he followed First back.

Bright stared at the key and an identifying mark before him. He did not fully believe, but if it was an opportunity to find the Gulf, he would do it even if he had to get torture though.

Mew stares at a vampire he just captured with Boat.

"You're not gonna talk?!" Ask Boat. The vampire just laughed without saying a word. Mew approaches the Boat.

"I think it will be useless, just like the previous one, he will decide to commit suicide rather than answer our questions" Mew said. They had several times arrested the vampires for questioning, but there was no result.

After investigation, so many vampires who inhabit the palace, Weir deliberately made a special place for the vampires and it is certain that the people who disappeared were used as food for the vampires. Every day there were screams from the cave that Boat had found.

Mew and Boat could not attack them because there were too many vampires in the area. Mew could not call for help, but hunters were not allowed to enter the kingdom. All borders are heavily guarded.

While in a place with minimal lighting, the sound of chains sounding loud spread throughout the room that was so quiet. Gulf opened his eyes, it was very clear that his eyes were now red. He smiled with his smile, his body felt so energized. He easily removed the chains that were holding his hands and feet together.

Gulf stepped out of the pond that had been soaking it all along. The sound of footsteps rang out, Pete went inside, he was shocked to see the Gulf that had already slipped from its ties.

"Your majesty are you aware?" Pete hesitated a little, because now the Gulf aura became a little different. Gulf looked at Pete and within a split second the Gulf was in front of him with their hands clutching Pete's neck. The surprised Pete held Gulf's hand as hard as he could. He tried to gather his strength and immediately pushed the Gulf chest which finally the grip was released.

"Calm down, your majesty. What's wrong with you? I just want to deliver this for you" said Pete nervously he opened the bag that he had brought. Gulf saw inside the pouch there were several bags of blood. Gulf quickly picked it up and drank it greedily. Pete slowly backed away and walked out of the room.

Pete returns with Apo after he notices Gulf's condition. Both of them saw Gulf who was still busy drinking his blood.

"Gulf. You remember me?" Ask Apo. Gulf looked at him and smiled as he approached him.

"Who are you? You gave me this?" Gulf asked, showing a bag of blood that was running out, he looked at her up close. Apo looked at both of his eyes. The curse has been cleared, but now the vampire characteristics are dominating.

"Let's get out of here and don't do anything" Apo said. Gulf followed him from behind, followed by Pete behind him.

Apo directs him into a small house as a place for the Gulf to live.

"Sit down!" Gulf did not listen, but he was circulating his gaze in all directions.

"Gulf!!" Call Apo a little louder. Gulf stared at Apo not like. He tried to ignore it and turned around to leave, but Apo quickly wrapped a chain around him which made the Gulf unable to move. Gulf tried to let go but as hard as he tried, the chain did not come off.

"Sir what happened? He doesn't even recognize me" Pete said.

"Because he's not trained. His vampire soul took over his body"

"Then how do I get it back?"

"We have to make him come back to his senses. Take him to my room" Pete slowly approached the Gulf, he was afraid because now the Gulf looked at him angrily.

"This noble one is for your own good" Pete said softly in fear.

Bright opened his eyes, he saw someone who was busy doing nothing. Win who realized the voice behind him, turned around and saw Bright who was conscious.

"General you're finally conscious. Drink it first" Bright received it and drank the drink. Win placed his hand on Bright's forehead making him a little surprised.

"His fever has gone down. Once you're here, you're instantly unconscious"

"How many days have I been unconscious?" Bright asked in a hoarse voice.

"About five days I guess"

"What?!!" Bright immediately tried to wake up helped Win.

"I have to go right away"

"No!" Win held.

"The situation is bad outside. People are looking for you now"

"I knew. But I couldn't keep quiet when my king disappeared" Win looked at Bright who was preparing.

"Alright it looks like I can't hold you back. But meet my father first" Bright just nodded.

Bright faced off against Mr. Pan, he looked at her suspiciously. He was a little worried that Mr. Pan was siding with Weir and this was part of his plan.

"Sir, thank you for taking care of me" Bright said.

"Hm. What exactly is going on? Is it true that your majesty killed those people?"

"It's not like that!" Answer Bright quickly.

"The noble is only being controlled he has no intention of doing all that" he continued.

"Controlled by what?" Bright looked at mister Pan and Win who were looking at him curiously. He cannot answer for this problem. Not until the king allowed him to tell the truth. Mr. Pan was very curious as to what had happened, but he understood enough not to continue talking about it. Seeing Bright who was silent, he decided he would ask his king directly someday.

"Alright forget. Are you sure you'll look it out?" Ask Mr. Pan.

"Yes"

"Bring up some medicines, you haven't fully recovered" Bright picked up the bag of medicines that had already been prepared. Bright looked at Win who had been beside his father.

"Thank you. Then I'll go" Brightpun out. Win stared at Bright's departure.

"Pho are you sure you let him?"

"That's his wish. You'd better go back to the dormitory and watch First"

Every day Mew and Boat drag some vampires and kill them, but it's useless if only two people do. They needed many hunters to attack at once.

Bright walked with a slight grimace, his body feeling very stiff now. He covered his head with his jacket. There are so many guards out there. He was actually confused about where to look first, but he was curious about the condition of the palace. Walking for a while made him feel tired, suddenly someone smothered his mouth and pulled him into a quiet alley. Bright swiftly pulled out his sword making his defender loose.
