KING GULF
Chapter 03's

Off and an unconscious Ken is thrown in jail, Mew tells the people to give him space. Bright did, though it looked a little strange to her. Mew started by reciting some spells to create a barrier. Bright was just stunned, this was the first time he had seen something like this.

The barrier is attached, invisible to Bright and the others, but Off which a vampire will feel if he forces it out.

"It's over?" Ask Bright.

"Yes. Everything was safe, only I could open it and if Off forced it out, this barrier could hurt him" Bright simply nodded.

"Thank you for helping, then you can go to your room for a break. The waiter will take you" Mew nodded and followed a waiter.

Mew looked around him, he never got tired of seeing the beauty of this palace. Instantly his steps stopped because he saw someone like him.

"Sir" said the waiter to distract him.

"Ah yes" Mew looked in that direction, but the man was nowhere to be seen.

At midnight Gulf came to the basement accompanied by Bright beside him.

"You're sure he's a vampire? I feel like he's a normal human being"

"I don't know either. This is the first time anyone has said that vampires exist"

"Oh yes and also I brought a person named Mew Suppasit here" Bright said, who immediately got a surprised look from Gulf.

"You brought him here?"

"Yes. They want someone to keep an eye on Off and Ken. Besides wouldn't it be easier to keep an eye on him if he was here? And also he put up a barrier in this prison, he said if Off forced it out then this barrier could hurt him "Gulf was a little nervous, because he did not tell him the truth. Off looks moving a sign he woke up.

"alright. You better go first" said Gulf and directly obeyed Bright who immediately left.

Off opened his eyes and he was very surprised to see a person who could make his body tremble. Off eliminates its existence, but there is no reaction from the Gulf. Off was a little panicked as Gulf's gaze scared him a little.

"Who are you?" Ask Off.

"You don't know who I am? I'm the king of this kingdom" Off held back his laughter.

"really? You're the Gulf king of Kanawut? Hahaha I heard the king here is a murderer. Doesn't that mean we're the same?" Off uttering Gulf emotions, he clenched his hands trying to hold back his emotions.

"You're a vampire?" Off frowned at his confused forehead.

"You think?"

"I can't believe vampires exist, but look at you... I don't understand, you look like a human. Are vampires like this?"

"I'm human" Said the original Off. Hearing Off call himself human, Gulf felt less suited to him.

"really? But I think you have the power"

"What do you mean?"

"You're too fast for a human being"

"Why indeed? You have your own power, don't you?" Off noticed the Gulf that looked confused.

"You're right. Not many know, but I have it. After seeing you and that hunter I think that humans who have that power do exist"

"You kidding? What hemisphere have you been all this time? The only people who have the power are hunters. Are you a hunter?"

"Not"

"Then you're a vampire?" Gulf frowned.

"I'm human" Suddenly Off laughed disdainfully at him.

"Alright forget. I'm pretty surprised the first thing you ask is whether I'm a vampire or not. I thought you were going to ask about the murder" Gulf wanted to answer but Off quickly returned.

"Oh I forgot. You're also a murderer, so just a few of your people being killed won't affect anything for you hahaha. I'm right, aren't I?" Gulf of course was upset he was holding the doorknob of the prison trying to open it, but to no avail, instead his palms became blistered. Gulf looked at his hand and also Off alternated. Off still laughed quite satisfied. The angry Gulf went straight away.

Inside his room Gulf stared at his painful hand. He also wrapped his hands after being treated.

Early in the morning Bright picked up some books that would be delivered to Gulf's workspace. Not too much he brought with him because Gulf asked for books related to vampires. He only took what he could find. On his way, Bright crosses paths with Mew.

"It looks like you're busy. Need help?" Mew's words stopped Bright.

"no need. What are you doing here?"

"Well I'm bored in the room, so I'm out for a walk" Mew saw some of the books Bright was carrying.

"Vampire book?"

"Yes. His majesty wants me to take him to his study"

"What about the prisoners? How will you punish him? I suggest they're immediately put to death, especially Off he's a vampire"

"Vampire is real?"

"Why did you ask when you saw him?"

"But he looks like a normal human being"

"Maybe you'll understand. Can I ask you a question?"

"certain"

"May I meet the witness you said that to me?"

"Oh that... I don't think he's in the palace right now"

"really? But yesterday I saw it"

"What's? You seen her?" Bright asked a little surprised, he was getting confused as to what to answer.

"Well, maybe he was here yesterday, but now he's gone"

"really?" Bright just nodded.

"Sorry I have to leave immediately. His Majesty is waiting for me" Bright said goodbye, trying to dodge. I don't know what else Mew will ask him.

Gulf stared quietly out of his study window. He increasingly did not understand, if what he was talking about was true was he a hunter? But he felt he had never dealt with hunters even he just found out there was a group of hunters. Is he a vampire? It's not possible in a vampire fairy tale to have to drink blood, whereas he never had to. So who is he?

From a distance Gulf saw someone he knew, of course he still remembered that person. A moment later a knock on the door shifted his eyes.

"These are some books that I can find" Bright said, putting down the stack of books he had just picked up from the royal library. Gulf immediately saw a few books on his desk. Bright's attention went straight to Gulf's hand wrapped in bandages.

"You hurt?" Bright asked touching his hand. Gulf was a little surprised, he was at a loss as to what to explain.

"I'm fine" Pulls his hand but is held back by Bright who tries to open his bandage.

"No. Bright I'm fine" said Gulf holding his hand. The role was open Gulf resigned and only silent.

"There are no wounds. Any problems with your hands?" Gulf was shocked and saw it for himself, obviously last night the wound was quite large but now even the marks were not there.

"I told you I'm okay" Gulf said nervously. Bright nodded too.

"I'm just worried" Bright said. He also finished a messy book.

"That's the only book I could find. Well those books look like fairy tale books but I didn't know they could help or not"

"It's okay. I'll try to read it" Gulf said, getting busy with his book.

"What about our prisoners? The news of their capture made some citizens come here. Are we going to punish them in public?"

"Who spread the news? It should be a secret before I let it go"

"Sorry your highness. We're investigating it now. Then are we going to punish them in public?"

"Not now"

"What about the hunter? Every time I met him he always said that they should be put to death immediately and he also asked the person who testified. He wanted to see her" Gulf stopped.

"Not to think about. Leave it alone"

"alright. Then have you had breakfast? Once in the morning you were already in your study" Gulf just shook his head.

"I'm not hungry yet" Gulf replied without taking his eyes off the book.

"You should eat. I'll have Kara deliver your food and vitamins here"

"Give up" Bright went to bring him some food.

Mew walked around the palace until he got to the back of the palace, looking lonely and he saw a large building, Mew approached him. He felt something pulling him into the building, until he was at the entrance. Mew touched the door intending to open it.

"Sorry who?" Said someone stop Mew. He turned and saw a servant.

"Oh sorry I'm the one who was invited to this palace and was going around, then looking at this building, so I wanted to see it. What building is this?"

"This is the building for the royal family's tomb. You better not enter it because his majesty the king does not want anyone to enter without his permission" Mew just nodded.

"alright. Thank you for telling me. Then I'd like to take a look around the others" The waiter bowed respectfully.

After a day of reading books, Gulf came out for a breath of fresh air.

"Oh you here?" Gulf looked back and immediately stared in surprise. Mew smiled happily finally able to find the person he was looking for. The Gulf looked around making sure no one else was around.

"Why are you here?" Gulf asked a little nervously.

"I didn't think we'd see each other again so soon. You live in the royal palace?"

"I... I work here"

"really? I met Bright and he said you weren't here, but it's obvious I saw you before"

"What's? See me? Where's?" Gulf surprised.

"In the palace courtyard, you were followed by a few servants. And judging from your clothes, you seem to be a general like Bright or higher? Right?"

"Ah.. Yep.. That's... Yes" Mew nodded.

"You look different from the last one I saw. Well you look strong. Do you have time tomorrow?"

"Why?"

"There's something I want to talk to you about"

"You can talk now" Gulf said a little suspiciously.

"It's late at night now. You better take a break" Gulf just fell silent.

"Well tomorrow at noon I'll wait here" Mew said.

"No. We'd better meet outside the palace" Gulf said quickly. He certainly does not want people to see him with Mew, maybe later there will be someone who calls him noble, it will be very risky.

"alright. Then I should go back. You should also take a break" Mew said, patting Gulf on the shoulder.

"Go away. No need to care about me" Mew laughed a little and left immediately. Gulf stared at Mew's departure, in retrospect maybe he should also talk to Mew.

Gulf sat at the dinner table for breakfast the next morning. The dining table was so big that no one filled it.

"Your Majesty please" said Kara one of his servants answered a nod by Gulf. He also ate his breakfast.

Bright came to Gulf, saluted him.

"Your majesty sorry to interrupt your breakfast, but some people are still waiting in front of the palace. They want to meet the killers"

"Didn't I assign Weir to take care of this matter? Assistance has been given, they should not have done anything anymore"

"Well his family members were murdered and the one who killed was here. They'd want to see him"

"Who spread the word of the prisoners? Did you find him?"

"That's one of the new soldiers here. We caught him but when he was about to be interrogated he decided to commit suicide"

"Killed yourself?"

"Yes we are still investigating" Gulf nodded.

"You'd better get them to go and tell them the prisoners are going to be executed tomorrow" Bright saluted before leaving.

Gulf refocused on his food, but he felt he was no taste and was about to leave the dining room.

"This noble is your vitamin" said Kara holding off the Gulf. He also returned to take vitamins that he must drink every day.

Gulf goes into his secret room to change into regular clothes preparing to meet Mew. During the day inside the palace was crowded with people. Gulf tried to cover himself from the people, trying to walk as usual and not inviting suspicion, but someone patted him on the shoulder from behind making him peck at him instantly.
