Gulf and Bright walked out of the palace to the security office.
All the soldiers saluted and brought Gulf into a room.
Gulf opened the cloth covering the corpse and a horrifying sight was immediately visible. Eyes wide, the body completely black and a vampire bite hole in his neck.
"What happened to him?"
"I don't know when the door opened it was like this"
"Why did he turn black like this?" Bright just this time saw someone die with a blackened body.
"When did he die?"
"Yesterday, the glorious afternoon" Gulf understood a little and he told his soldiers to bury him immediately.
Shortly after seeing Weir's corpse, Gulf immediately returned to the palace. He seemed to remember something and he needed to make sure in his room.
...****************...
Gulf opened the secret door that was in his room.
"I thought you were here" Gulf was a little surprised to hear someone behind him.
"You surprised me. Why don't you rest? What about your wound?"
"I'm bored anyway my wound is better. You wanna go inside?"
"Yes. Weir's body was found a little unnatural, I wanted to find something" Gulf and Mew walked towards the secret room.
Gulf looked at the books lined up on a bookshelf.
"How's the body doing?"
"Blackened body and also vampire bite marks on his neck. I'm assuming he died at the same time Nick died. Did a vampire come to him and kill him?"
"I think they're doing a contract"
"What contract?"
"A human and a vampire can contract. They usually do this to work together. To be more trustworthy, they make a contract. We all know they're working together, but I didn't expect a strong Nick to make a contract with him"
Gulf tried to open some books on a table, he found a description.
"You're right phi. His death was due to a contract they had made. It says that if one gets hurt, the other gets hurt too. So he died because Nick died"
"What book is this?" Mew saw the book.
"I don't know. Who do you think wrote this?"
"Isn't this your mom and dad's place?"
"Yes. Did my dad make it?" Mew just shrugged his shoulders not knowing.
...****************...
After having some time off at the palace, Mew prepares to return to the mansion.
"I thought you were going with me"
"I'll be there later. I also have to find out about my sword"
"Hmm well" Gulf looked at him. He could not bear to see his gloomy face. Gulf cupped his face
The cup!
He kissed Mew's lips a little bit pressing on him.
"Don't show a face like that. The distance of the hunter mansion and the palace was not too far away. I could run there in an instant" Mew laughed at Gulf's words.
"I love you Gulf"
"Yes I know. Go, say my regards to p'Mile" Mew hugged Gulf tightly before the two came out of his room.
Gulf saw the departure of Mew and the hunters who had gone out of the palace gate.
"Time goes by so fast. Now Mr. Weir and the vampire named Nick are dead. Shouldn't we have no more distractions?"
"But I'm sure there's still a lot out there targeting our kingdom. We need to stay alert" Gulf patted Bright on the shoulder. He turned back to enter the palace. Bright followed him from behind.
"Your majesty, I see you and Mew are getting closer. Do you have a special relationship now?" Gulf's steps came to a halt which made Bright flinch.
"Why are you asking me that?"
"Yes... You even let her sleep in your room"
"Bright, I think you better get a horse ready for me now. I'll change clothes first"
"Your Majesty, you have nothing to be ashamed of. I'll support you if you're together"
"Bright!" Bright held back his laughter and immediately left.
...****************...
Gulf had already asked some of the people he trusted in his palace, but no one knew the master swordsman. As long as he got the sword, Gulf himself took care of him as well as his father who always took care of him himself.
Gulf and Bright decided to ask some of the blacksmiths in the city and none of them knew that even they did not recognize the sword. As it was getting late, Gulf returned to his palace and will continue it tomorrow.
...****************...
"Mew" Mew smiled and immediately hugged her.
"How are you, phi? We haven't seen each other in a long time"
"I'm good. How's yours?"
"It's never been this good" Mile looked around.
"What's phi?"
"Ah no. Let's go inside we'll talk inside"
Mile serves a glass of tea to Mew. For a long time the two had not talked together.
"When did you get there?"
"About 3 days ago I think. You didn't come with Gulf?"
"No. He still had other business" Mile simply nodded.
"Phi I heard you went to Poompat kingdom to fix a protector. What kind of protection?" Mile knew Mew would question him.
"Oh that. Just an ordinary protector so that no vampires enter the Poompat kingdom area. I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you or anything. I had to get there before more vampires came in"
"There's such a protector? How-to? I just heard about this protector"
"It's not too hard to just make some marks and recite some spells"
"Then we can make it for the Traipipattanapong kingdom?"
"We can't. Gulf's a vampire, if that protector's made. He would not be able to survive in his kingdom and neither would the Nattawin clan exist in his royal area"
"Ah you're right too"
"It's late. Get some sleep, we can talk again tomorrow" Mile stood up to head straight for her room.
"Phi I saw a photo in your book. Who're they?" Mile's steps stopped. He still did not know what answer to give him.
"That's an old photo with my friends first"
"Where are they now?"
"I don't know myself. We haven't communicated in a long time"
"Is that so? Oh yes someone who-"
"Mew can we talk about tomorrow? I'm a little unwell. You should also take a break" Mile cut off the conversation and went straight out. Mew looked at him a little suspiciously.
...****************...
Today Gulf is back around looking for another blacksmith. Until late afternoon the results were still the same. Bright suggested to order the other soldiers to handle it, but Gulf immediately refused. He had to find it himself because no one could know about his broken holy sword. Gulf did not give up, he still continued to search for other blacksmiths. Until he arrived at a village that if seen only a few inhabitants of this village. The Gulf only realized there was a village like this in its territory. From one house to another has a long distance. Even so, Gulf was quite surprised there was a blacksmith in the village. They also came to him.
A man seemed busy forging a sword.
"Excuse me. Sir can we ask you something?" The man glanced at her and was a little surprised to see Bright. When he saw Bright's face, it was like he recognized someone.
"What's wrong?"
"Oh my master wants to ask if you can repair this sword?" Bright showed his sword.
"It's..." The man looked at both.
"Who are y'all? Where did you get this sword?"
"What's? We're.."
"What's your name?"
"I'm Bright"
"Sir, do you know anything? I need to know who made this sword" The man sighed and took the two into his house.
...****************...
Gulf and Bright quietly sat down waiting for the man to bring something until he carried a long pack. He opened it in front of Bright and Gulf.
"Do you see what this sword has in common with that sword?" Bright and Gulf watched him.
"The left of these two swords is the same and has the same mark as well. Is this sword maker the same as my sword maker?"
"This sword is a gift from my teacher. Do you know anyone named Amphol?"
"Who is he?"
"He's my teacher. He taught me to make a sword"
"Where is he now?"
"I don't know for sure. He used to live here but he moved away without telling me. I don't know where he is" Gulf who initially found hope sighed again.
"Alright I'll try to find him. Then we'll say goodbye. Thank you sir for taking the time" Gulf and Bright stood up to leave immediately.
"Mr Bright can we talk to you for a second?" Bright looked at the Gulf who had directly allowed it. Gulf went outside, knowing that the man was always watching Bright. I don't know what makes it that way.
Upon seeing Gulf coming out, Bright looked at him.
"Who are you?" Before the man spoke, Bright questioned him first.
