30 DAYS WITH U

30 DAYS WITH U
59. SEVEN WISHES 4

“Huft. . .” Andra let out a long breath while looking up at the sky in front of her. “You may be right, Keila. But we can discuss my father's problems later. Now I owe you an explanation.”

Ah right. I forgot that I should have been more curious about Andra's explanation than the story about Andra's father recovering from his illness. Keila nodded her head in agreement with Andra's words. Keila then looked towards Andra and asked, “Before I asked, I want to make sure something first.”

“What is it?” Andra who felt Keila was looking at her then turned her head and looked back at Keila.

“Did Liam tell you if he told you about this bridge photo in your apartment?” Keila asked with a curious face.

Andra gave a nod of her head to Keila. “Already.”

“Then you're not mad at Liam??” ask Keila again.

Andra gave a nod of her head a second time to Keila. “I'm not mad at Liam.”

Keila exhaled a long sigh of relief. “Thank God. I thought you'd be mad at Liam for letting me into your apartment and telling me your secret.”

“Liam did the right thing because Liam also felt indebted to you. Since I heard well your words in return for your help back then, I then helped Liam who had the same fate as me.”

Keila nodded her head a few times and smiled at Andra's words. “Good then. And now I'm gonna ask, then, why have we met in the first place and on so many other occasions you never told me that you were the bespectacled boy I had met in this place?”

Keila looked towards the riverbank that could be seen on the bridges where Keila was now. Keila recalled her memories together with the bespectacled boy she helped from some friends who were bullying her.

“When I first saw you in the company, I wanted to do just that.” Andra then begins the story. “I want to tell you that I am the boy you once helped. But when I wanted to do that, doubts came to my mind. Seeing you who did not recognize me at all when repeatedly passed me, I was really afraid that you would not recognize me at all.”

Andra stopped her speech for a moment because the drizzling rain had stopped. Andra then closed the umbrella she was holding to protect herself and Keila from the drizzling rain. After doing so, Andra then leaned on the bridge barrier while looking at the sky that was starting to be bright by the afternoon sun.

“. . .I know very well that the change in appearance I made while I was in college really made my appearance change. Therefore, I decided to observe you from a distance for a while and become your secret fan. I then send you a bouquet of flowers on every tenth date which is the date we first met.”

Keila who heard a long explanation from Andra finally knew the reason for the bouquet of flowers that he always received on every tenth day of each month. This is the reason that bouquet of flowers comes in every tenth date. I really didn't realize it.

Keila frowned because she did not understand. “Your time is always wrong?? What does that mean?”

Andra chuckled before giving an answer to Keila's question. “My courage always comes at the wrong time. Many times I want to introduce myself in front of you but at that time, you just have a new lover.”

“Ahh, really??” Keila closed her mouth in disbelief and for a few seconds stared at Andra who was staring in the other direction. And after realizing her shock, Keila who felt regret then said one word: Sorry.

Andra gave a small smile hearing an apology coming out of Keila's mouth when she heard the situation. “I don't think that's necessary, Keila. It's not your fault. You don't recognize me because I'm one of the few people who come and go in your life. It's only natural that you forget me because we only met once. Here, I'm the weird one. I always remember you. I always wish I could see you again. I also could never forget the time we met back then. It's not you who's weird for not remembering me, but I'm the weird one for remembering you so well and hoping to meet you.”

Buk. Keila then hit Andra's back hard and made Andra who had been reluctant to look at Keila then turned her head to look at Keila.

“Why did you hit me?” asked Andra while trying to withstand the heat on his back due to Keila's punch.

“Who said you were weird, huh??” Keila turned around to ask Andra. “I said I don't remember you, but that doesn't mean you remember me as a freak. Remembering someone even when they only met once, it was not a strange thing. It was just a deep impression that the person left on the person who met him. Many people have experienced the same thing with you, Andra. Where did Andra go who always said confidently? Where has the stubborn Andra been claiming to be my lover? Where did the undaunted Andra go when the knife was pointed at her while trying to protect me??”

This time it was Andra's turn to pinch Keila's cheek because she felt anxious to hear Keila's words. “I'm still here, Keila. That Andra of yours doesn't go anywhere. I'm just telling you that I, who has always been confident, stubborn and undaunted in front of you all along, can also feel weak somewhere you don't know about, which you don't see.”

“Ba-good then.” Keila released a pinch of Andra's hand on her cheek. “Then now I know why you've been my secret fan all this time. Then now I want to ask, why in thirty days I was suspended, why during the time we were together, you didn't tell me who you were?”

Andra turned her gaze back from the direction of the sky in front of the bridge and saw something forming in the sky. “After repeatedly failing, I really intend to bury my desire to be close to you. But after getting reports that your ex-lover-Noah is always waiting for you in front of the company, that buried desire returns. Originally, I just wanted to avenge your good deeds in the past by helping you solve your problems with Noah and getting that man to go to jail. .”

Keila was about to open her mouth to ask but quickly, Andra continued her stalled words.

“. . . At first I just wanted to avenge your good deed, but you know that man is a greedy creature, right?"

Keila nodded her head in agreement. "Does that mean you belong?"

Andra smilingly looked at Keila and replied, "I am also so no exception.”
