A week later. . .
As planned, I moved to work at the branch office. The employees of the team chairman and director welcomed my arrival at the new company.
“Welcome, Director Rafandra.”
“Thank you very much,” reply me with a small smile on my face.
Their eyes were completely fixed on me and Liam when the two of us came. Not without reason it happened. Learning from my college experience, I know very well why they are all interested in me. They may have heard the news that I am the son of the president and is the only descendant who will inherit some of the company that my father owns.
Because of that, as much as possible I try not to appear in front of many people and employees. I even asked the Baron and Yuda who had worked with me for half a year at the center to come with me to the branch office. All that I did was so that the branch wouldn't give me their employees to help me work. Then one more thing I was reluctant to use branch employees to work directly under me: I didn't want them to gossip about me and know how I looked. Learning from past experiences while working in centers and college: I knew well my change in appearance really made a lot of girls obsessed with approaching me with a variety of specific goals.
One day passed.
Two days passed.
And unknowingly a week had passed when I was working in my father's branch. The times I felt were so boring because all the work seemed so easy to me: Liam was already very good at organizing schedules and jobs for me. Even Liam was no doubt when some of the schedules he had made were not in accordance with. Meanwhile Baron and Yuda, adapt quickly and know how to work under my leadership.
A week went by and without me knowing a month had passed. I'm getting used to the branch company where I work. I also used to deliberately use the emergency stairs to go and go home from work to my room on the eighth floor. I along with Liam, Yuda and Baron also accidentally ate the last fifteen minute lunch hour break just to avoid the employees especially the female employees who might end up trying to approach me with a certain purpose. That boring routine then changed when my eyes found the figure I had been trying to find for several years.
Just then, Liam and I were in front of the fourth-floor emergency exit and were walking down the emergency stairs leading to the underground parking area when someone passed us both in a slight hurry. The woman tied her hair with a ponytail model. In both ears, earphones are attached and may be playing a song that only he heard alone. The woman lowered her head as she passed me, but she who was walking up made me clearly see her face when I turned my head to look at her.
My steps suddenly came to a halt when I recognized the figure of the woman. Liam almost hit me when I stopped my steps.
“Director. . . Director. . . Director?”
Liam tried to call me over and over again, but his call did not succeed in getting my attention away from the woman. It felt like my time had come to a halt and my ears had not heard Liam's call, I really couldn't let go of my attention to the woman. I even twisted my body to be able to continue to see his figure. As soon as the figure of the woman disappeared from my sight, then I heard the voice of Liam calling me.
“Director, why look at the female like that??”
I looked at Liam who was looking at me with a confused and astonished look. I then hit Liam's shoulder slightly tight and said with a happy face. “I found it, Liam. I finally found it!”
“What Director found?”
I saw Liam looking at me still with a confused look. I twisted Liam's body and pointed in the direction where the woman had been walking. “That woman was. . . that woman was the one I had been looking for all this time. She was my savior who I always wanted to meet.”
“Be really it, Director?”
“. . . The director is sure the woman is the savior the Director has been telling me all along??” added Liam.
I nodded my head with confidence and without a single doubt. “It's true.” I then spun around trying to find CCTV cameras in the area and found there were several cameras in the top corner. I then raised my left hand where my watch was circular and saw the time showing at 11 p.m.
“Liam,” call me.
“Ya, Director. Assign Baron to find the CCTV camera footage at about eleven o'clock this afternoon. Seeing that woman was here and using this emergency ladder, I think she worked at this company as well. I need to know what the woman's name is.”

“And that's how the Director found Miss Keila.” Liam shut his mouth after his long story.
Keila closed her mouth in disbelief at what she had just heard from Liam's mouth. A question then arises in Keila's mind after hearing how Andra struggles to find her savior who is none other than herself.
“Why after finding me, Andra did not appear before me and directly introduced herself to me? Why would Andra have to play around being my secret fan to catch my attention? Why did Andra ha-“ Keila suddenly stop her question when recalling her conversation together with the Great Sir some time ago.
“Then,” Mr. Agung then hit Keila on the shoulder and made Keila stop staring at the sky above her. “Do you also realize that all this time your secret fan has appeared several times before you?? It's just. . . You don't realize it.”
Keila lowered her gaze and then looked towards the Great Sir with an astonished look. “Is that true, sir? Andra appeared a few times in front of me and I didn't recognize her?? Sorry, Mister. Looks like. . . I didn't hear that part.”
The Great Sir then repeated Andra's words. “After repeatedly trying, Keila never realized my whereabouts. Didn't you say you listened well??” Mr. Agung then hit Keila on the head a little tight.
Liam smiled as he replied, “It looks like Miss already knows the reason why the Director finally chose to become a secret fan of Miss. All of that was done by the Director because Miss did not recognize the Director at all.”
Keila turned her head to look towards Liam. “Do I really do it, Liam? I really didn't realize that all this time Andra appeared several times around me.”
Liam nodded his head. “That's right, Miss. The director did just that. Many times, the Director deliberately came home late only to go home together with Miss. Often the Director deliberately went home quickly just to see Miss who came home quickly. Often the Director comes home by bus just to be able to see Miss. Even the Director deliberately bought this apartment, just to be close to Miss. But all his efforts mean nothing when the Director does not have the courage to approach Miss because Miss does not recognize her.”
That day. . . Keila really knew that Andra, who had always been attached to her, seemed to really like her. Keila knew of Andra's actions all along which changed her appearance when she met him, merely wanting to make Keila remember herself again.
“. . . The director had wanted to step down when Miss was in a relationship with a man named Noah. But when Noah makes a ruckus with Yuna, the Director stops his intention until the tragedy that befell the Great Sir happens. Seeing Miss in danger, the Director was really worried about Miss and then I finally ventured to say something to the Director that was the reason the Director finally made a lie to Miss.”
Keila understood the sentence that Liam wanted to say to her. Keila then replaced Liam saying that phrase. “There is no point in constantly waiting for opportunities to come. If that chance you can make, why don't you make it yourself. That sentence isn't it?”
Liam nodded his head. “That's right, Miss.”
