After helping Mother Keila pick the fruits in her garden, Keila and Andra then had breakfast together before finally saying goodbye to Mother Keila. Before leaving, Keila's mother pulled Andra's hand and whispered to her. It makes Keila feel curious because her mother whispered something to Andra and not to Keila – her own child.
“What did my mother whisper to you?” keila asked curiously on the way back.
“You're curious?” Andra turned to ask Keila a question.
“I won't ask if I'm not curious.” Keila replied with a tight tone. “So. . .what did my mother tell you?”
Andra who was driving her car then glanced slightly at Keila and saw Keila's cheeks that were bloated like puffer fish. Feeling anxious, Andra then pinched Keila's cheek with her left hand.
“What are you doing?” Keila asked in annoyance as Andra's hands continued to pinch her cheeks.
“You can't see it?” andra Goda. “Obviously I was pinching your cheek.”
“Cih. . I wrongly asked.” Keila's getting pissed. “I changed my question, why did you pinch my cheek?”
“Your cheeks are like pufferfish. I feel it's adorable.” Andra replied with a smile on her cheek.
Keila exhaled her breath holding back her sense of regret and then moved her hand and replied to Andra by turning around pinching Andra's cheek. But Keila's reply was much more painful because Keila pinched Andra's cheek not with anxiety but because of her pity.
“Auwwwww. .” Andra shouted a little as her cheek received a pinch from Keila. “Key, release! It hurts.”
“Let go of my cheek first after that I will pull my hand that pinches your cheek!” Keila doesn't want to lose.
“Alright, alright.” Andra released her pinch on Keila's cheek.
But unfortunately, Keila still pinched Andra's cheek and pulled it even tighter.
“Key??? Why have you still not let go of your pinch on my cheek??” andra asked in pain. “You don't want to keep me from focusing on driving and causing an accident on both of us don't you?”
“You pinched my cheek longer so I did the same to you.” Keila refused to let go of her pinch on Andra's cheek.
“So you want us to crash together and die together?” seduce Andra with a smile on her face. “I didn't expect if you loved me so much that you wanted us to die together.”
Hearing the words from Andra, Keila spontaneously released a pinch of her hand on Andra's cheek. “I still don't want to die. More dead with you.”
Andra stroked her cheeks that were slightly flushed due to Keila's pinch. “I'm just kidding, Keila. I don't want to die either. I still want to do a lot of things together with you.”
A sense of panic and freeze struck Keila again, when he heard the words from Andra. For a moment of silence became the third person who accompanied the journey of Keila and Andra back to their apartment in the city until suddenly something caught Keila's attention.
Why did Andra go this way instead of the main road? Keila who recognized the street in front of him then decided to visit somewhere. “Please stop in front!”
Hearing Keila's request, Andra immediately stepped on the brake pedal on his car and began to pull over the car he was driving.
As soon as the car pulled over, Keila immediately got out of the car without even looking at Andra who was still turning off her car engine. The view of the bridge and river that became his favorite place with his father, somehow Keila wanted to come visit. If usually Keila feels reluctant to visit with someone, somehow this time Keila does not mind visiting when she is with Andra who can be said to still have the status of “people she just met”.
“Looks like this bridge?” asked Andra who was standing not far from where Keila was standing after turning off her car engine.
“Yes. This is my favorite place with my dad. Before my father went bankrupt, we lived not far from here and this place was my secret place and father when we both ran away from Mother's rampage.” Keila smiled remembering some memories between her and her father on the bridge.
“That night?” Keila turned around to ask while recalling her memories of the night that Andra was referring to. Keila then remembers the night referred to by Andra as the first night of their meeting where Andra saved Keila from Noah. “Ah was right, that night. I forgot that here is also the place of our first meeting. Right, the reason I was here that night was that I was missing my long-dead father. Sometimes when my day is bad or something does not go my way, I will come to this place. While in this place, I felt my father was still by my side and as if giving me advice for what I should do in the situation I was in.”
Keila gave a small smile looking at the river below and the few children playing by the river. “How about you? What brought you here that night?”
“Just happened to pass by. That night my mind was on. I was worried in making a decision.”
“Decision? What decision?” Keila asked curiously as she turned her head to look towards Andra. But when Keila turned her head to look at Andra, Keila was surprised to see Andra who had been staring at her for some time. “A-what's m-maybe since you looked at me?”
“Ya.” Andra replied with a smile on her lips.
“Since the beginning you stood here?” Keila asked again and began to feel a sense of nervousness and panic that attacked her at the same time.
“Ya.”
“Ke-why? W-what is the view on the bridge and the river does not look attractive in your eyes?” Keila asked again and this time her nervousness and panic had already invaded her.
“Your face and expression are much more attractive than the view of the bridge and river here.”
Damnit. He made me nervous and panicked at the same time again. Keila clumped in her mind while exhaling her breath trying to quell the panic and nervousness that was attacking her. “Cih, forget it! You still haven't answered my question. What decision did you worry about being on this bridge that night?”
“Decision to stay afloat or let go of something important to me.”
“What is it related to work?” ask Keila curious.
“No.” Andra replied with her tone.
“Then? About what?”
“I can't tell you now.”
Keila sighed as she turned her head back towards the river and the children playing by the river. “Then what was the result of that decision?”
“At first I chose to give up but-“
The strong wind made Keila who stared at the river then spontaneously turned her head towards Andra, to protect her face from the wind. And once again, Keila realized that Andra was still staring at her with a small smile on her face.
Dag. .dig. .dug. Keila's heart skipped a beat making Keila spontaneously shift her gaze away from Andra's gaze.
“But what?” keila asked trying to hide her fast heartbeat.
“But something happened and made me choose not to give up.”
A smile appeared on Andra's face. The look in Andra's eyes that were staring at Keila at this moment somehow made Keila feel her breathing had stopped, feeling her time had come to a halt, she said, feeling a gust of wind that had been moving also stopped and even the sound of passing vehicles was not heard by Keila's hearing. In that freezing situation, Keila subconsciously made hope in her heart. Could this be because of the sunlight? Could this be because of the wind? Or could it be because of the view on this bridge? Why do those smiles and looks look so beautiful? For some reason that smile and the look in those eyes, I feel like I don't want to lose it? I don't know why what's going on right now I want to keep it in my heart? I don't know why, I don't know. But my heart suddenly made a wish, could this stalled time keep that smile and gaze of hers just for me?
