51. SECRET OF LOVERS 3

Hearing the long explanation from the Great Sir, Keila again remembered the question that came to her mind this morning. Damnit. You're really the one who got me suspended. Keila really wanted to hit Andra this time and vent her anger towards Andra. Unfortunately, Andra is not there and Keila is forced to hold back her anger again. 

“. . . But. . “ Mr. Agung continued his remarks. 

Keila's forehead shriveled again. “But what, Sir?” 

“But there is a reason behind the suspension penalty you received, Key.” 

“Reason?” keila asked in disbelief. “What reason does Andra have for putting me in suspension for thirty days when I am also a victim?” 

Keila looked at the Great Sir who seemed to have expected the reaction Keila gave when she heard that reality, it would definitely be upset and angry because anyone who was in the same position as Keila would feel that the punishment was very unfair. Keila did not see the Great Sir in the least as upset as she felt. Keila suspected that Mr. Agung also understood the reason behind Rafandra or Andra's actions at that time as Director. Keila then adjusted her breathing and held back her current anger because Keila knew, she shouldn't be angry at the Great Sir. The anger should have been directed at Andra - her lover who had been hiding a lot from her. 

“. . . What's the reason, sir?” asked Keila who had arranged her anger and her sense of regret. 

Mr. Agung then opened his mouth and recounted his conversation with Rafandra yesterday, after the meeting ended. 

“Director Rafandra, can I talk to the Director alone?” The Great Sir who saw Director Rafandra walking out of the meeting room accelerated his pace and ventured himself to ask for precious time from the young Director of his superiors. 

“Of course, Mr. Agung.” Director Rafandra then asked Mr. Agung to follow him to go to his room. Once he arrived at his room, Director Rafandra then asked questions to his Yuda-assistant who was still working. “Liam hasn't returned?” 

“Numbered, Director.”

“Then tell Liam to see me as soon as he gets back, Yuda. Then please make two copies.”

“Good, Director,” Yuda said. 

Director Rafandra then invited Mr. Agung to enter his workspace and sit on a large sofa in his room. “Please sit down, Sir.”

The important conversation between Mr. Agung and Director Rafandra then began when the coffee requested by Rafandra came brought by Yuda. 

“What do you want to talk to me about?” rafandra asked after drinking her coffee. 

A small smile formed at the corner of Rafandra's lips when she heard Keila's name called and Pak Agung caught the small smile. 

“What do you want to ask me?” 

“This is about the incident where Keila received a suspension for thirty days. As you know I was the victim of the assault of Keila-Noah's ex-lover. When I finally recovered, I was completely shocked when I heard Keila received her thirty-day sentence. I then tried to ask for leniency but from what I heard, the decision was given by the Director,” explained Mr. Agung with a serious face. 

“If I didn't suspect anything wrong, you'd want to know the reason I did that isn't it?” 

In front of Mr. Agung at this time, was sitting Keila's lover who was also the superior of Mr. Agung. Of the many lovers Keila introduced to him because Keila already considered the Great Sir as his Father, the Great Sir this time felt that Keila's current lover was completely different. The man before the current Great Sir may be exuding a dignified and cold aura but when a small smile was seen on his face, the Great Sir could clearly capture that Andra was a warm man. 

Mr. Agung nodded his head as he replied, “That's right, Director.” 

“That day when the attack that befell the Father happened, I also happened to be near the location of the Father. That day with my own eyes I saw that man named Noah had lost his sanity. And that same day when I failed to save you, I promised to protect Keila. I therefore got Keila suspended for thirty days with the aim of keeping Keila at home. I who had bought an apartment next to Keila then immediately moved in and became Keila's neighbor. My goal in doing that was to keep an eye on Keila if Noah ever came and had bad intentions on her. But what I didn't expect was that Noah showed up on the first day that Keila received her sentence. Does it answer the question Mr?” 

Mr. Agung nodded his head again, understanding the goodwill of Director Rafandra. “I finally understand the reason the Director did that. Thank you for answering my question, Director. Please forgive my presumption for asking the Director and wasting precious time away from the Director. But I have to do this. Apart from being a member of my team, Keila is my own child. I beg the understanding Director.” 

Director Rafandra then made a knot of smiles on her lips hearing the reply from Mr. Agung. “I understand, Sir. I understand your relationship with Keila. I'm delighted Keila is working on the same team as Mr.” 

“Then if the Director does not mind, can I ask one more question??” Mr. Agung emboldened himself to ask a question to Director Rafandra. 

“Please, Sir.” 

“I heard from Keila, Director is the one who sent a bouquet of white roses all this time to Keila. Why after so long hiding in the shadows of the status of a secret fan, Director appeared in Keila's life?” 

Director Rafandra then made a knot of smiles again hearing the question from Mr. Agung. “Because Father is the one who is considered father by Keila, of course I have to answer this question. Actually a few times I've felt Keila wouldn't possibly have feelings for me. After repeatedly trying, Keila was never aware of my existence. Even when I knew Keila was in danger, I still felt hesitant to appear in Keila's life. Someone's words then made me finally dare to appear in Keila's life.” 

Mr. Agung furrowed his eyebrows because he was curious about the reason behind the appearance of Director Rafandra in Keila's life. “If I may know, what words does the Director mean?” 

“There is no point in constantly waiting for opportunities to come. If that chance you can make why don't you make it yourself?” 

Keila's mouth was gaping to hear a short story from Mr. Agung about the reason behind the suspension that Andra had given him. Finally all he did was for me: give me a suspension to protect me, stay next to my apartment to look after me, even deliberately make me cook food for him in exchange for the suspension he gave me. Always by my side, to accompany me from boredom. However I made my conclusions - everything was done just for me. Keila then looked up to the sky while exhaling her long breath because of her regret that somehow disappeared just like that after hearing the story of the Great Sir. A question then popped into Keila's mind. How much do you love me, Andra?
