2. MISADVENTURES THAT COME IN 2 STREAKS

Initially Keila's farewell to Noah ended quietly. A week after Keila and Noah's relationship ended, Keila heard that Yuna from the design department re-established a relationship with Noah - according to her wishes all along. 

“Kak Keila?” One of Keila's juniors, Irene whispered to Keila on the sidelines of her work. 

“Yes? What's up?” Keila asked with a curious face.

“Kakak has broken up with Kak Noah?” whispered Irene again. 

Keila nodded her head with a smile. “Yes. A week ago. Why?” Keila replied in a whisper as well. 

“Yesterday after work, we saw pa-“ Irene immediately shut her mouth and immediately corrected her wrong speech quickly before making Keila offended first. “I mean ex-boyfriend sister with Brother Yuna. Ex-boyfriend brother came to pick up Kak Yuna from the design department and they left together by hand.” 

Keila smiled back at the explanation from her junior. “Before becoming my lover, Noah was Yuna's lover. They broke up because of their work. Then Noah met me and became my lover for about four months. But. . given their long-standing relationship, it's no wonder they're finally back. I know Yuna still likes Noah ever since I knew that Yuna was Noah's ex.”

“Sister is not angry with those who return quickly?” Irene asked with a face of disbelief. 

“No.” Keila replied with a smile on her face. “Since the beginning of my relationship with Noah, I felt that my relationship with Noah would not last long. We are just lonely and need friends when we feel lonely. That's the reason that got us together. If you ask me if I love Noah, maybe I'll give you the answer hesitantly.” 

“Is that so, Brother?” Irene put on a face of disbelief a second time. 

“True. I myself am not sure of myself, do I love Noah or not? In fact. . . when parting with him, I was fine.” 

Junior Keila, Irene then patted Keila on the shoulder a little hard to encourage Keila as Keila used to do when teaching her juniors. “Espirit, Brother. The men of this world are not just one. There was not only a man named Noah. I'm sure big brother will definitely find a much better man than the man named Noah who can make you fall in love with him like the novels we've been reading.” 

“Thank you, Irene. I hope so.” 

Two months later things calmed down. The gossip that talked about Keila's lover being seized by Yuna from the design department slowly began to fade. Keila's life was calm as before she knew Noah. Now Keila does not need to make a fuss about replying to messages that enter her phone during business hours. Keila also did not have to bother lifting the incoming call from Noah while in a meeting. Keila also did not have to bother cleaning her apartment when she was busy, just because Noah wanted to come visit. 

Keila's life is back and Keila is busy with her work as an editor until news is heard that Noah and Yuna are back apart. 

“Did sister already hear it?” Irene who was eating together with Keila suddenly asked Keila. 

“What should I hear?” Keila frowned. 

“I-it, Brother. News Kak Yuna from the design department who parted ways with ex-girlfriend Brother.” Irene spoke with a slight lowering of her voice as she glanced to the right and to the left making sure that Yuna was nowhere near them. 

Irene nodded her head before whispering again to Keila. “They quarreled not far from the company and happened to be some people yesterday saw their quarrel scene.” 

A small smile then appeared at the corner of Keila's lips. “End with how many rounds of their quarrel?”

Junior Keila shrugged her shoulders answering Keila's question before whispering again to Keila. “I don't know, Brother. But from what I heard, their quarrel began with Kak Yuna who allegedly cheated on her with her co-workers and it was known by her sister's ex-boyfriend. People said, their quarrel yesterday was really great to be a spectacle of many people.” 

Keila smiled again hearing the story from her junior. “Sweetie, I couldn't see that scene yesterday. If I see it, I will definitely clap my hands the loudest among all the existing audience.” 

“True.” Junior Keila nodded her head in agreement with Keila's words. “The words of the people who saw the scene yesterday, the quarrel between Kak Yuna and the sister's ex-boyfriend even made the traffic police have to intervene. The two grabbed each other's hair and cursed each other. The passersby around them tried to stop the quarrel but to no avail. They were actually injured for trying to stop the quarrel.” 

Hearing the story from his junior, Kelia who had not known Noah for a long time really did not expect that Noah could get angry by doing such an embarrassing thing. How can an angry man grab the hair of a woman who is still his beloved status?

 Keila sighed as well as gave thanks in her heart when she found out about it. I'm grateful to have cut off my relationship with a guy like that. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to end my relationship with such a man. Fortunately, I refused to marry him. If not. . maybe my life will feel restrained forever because of his immature nature and attitude. 

Keila had just been grateful for her lucky fate of being able to escape the man named Noah, but her gratitude had to be pulled back when after work Keila saw Noah sitting in front of her company. Initially. . . Keila thought Noah was waiting for Yuna because their relationship had just ended. But. . Keila's mind was wrong because Noah pulled Keila's hand when he saw Keila. 

“Key. .” Noah pulled Keila's hand and stopped Keila's footsteps from returning to her home right in front of her office. 

“Remove your hands, Noah” orders Keila with a cold tone of voice.

“Listen to me first. .” Noah pleaded with Keila. 

Keila who was embarrassed because the people from her company were starting to exit her office building, looking towards Keila made Keila have no other choice but to give Noah a chance to talk. 

“Let go of your hand and we'll talk!” Keila stressed the word let go of the hand by glancing at Noah's hand that was grasping his hand. 

Noah let go of his hand and then started talking to Keila. “Give me a chance, Key. I want to have another relationship with you, Key.” 

Bak is struck by lightning, Keila who has just heard the news that Noah has just ended his relationship with Yuna, must now hear something that Keila does not want to hear from Noah's mouth. Keila stared intently at Noah with a face of disbelief. Noah is really crazy. Just now I heard news of his quarrel with Yuna yesterday which may be the end of his relationship with Yuna, but now. . . Noah dared to come to me and ask me to come back to him. This is totally insane. 

And from that day on, Noah always came to intercept Keila at work just to ask Keila to be her lover again.
