33. LOVER STATUS 4

The debate between Keila and her three peers and juniors was then delayed until lunchtime. One minute before the break began the three of Keila's colleagues had even stood around Keila's desk and prepared to bring Keila to eat together and interrogate Keila regarding her relationship with Liam. As soon as the break began, Suci and Nuri together pulled Keila's arm and forced her to have lunch together in the cafeteria. Keila who had already left motionless and fled, could only resignedly accept the situation. Luckily I told Andra I couldn't have lunch with her. If I had made an appointment with Andra, I might have let her down because of these three colleagues. 

After ordering the same lunch for the four people, Nuri along with Suci and Irene then started interrogating Keila while eating her lunch. 

“So now explain to the three of us, Brother Keila!” Nuri who just swallowed a large mouthful of her food and swallowed it then immediately asked Keila to give a clear explanation. “Please explain to us why Liam-assistant young director of our idol can bring a license from Brother!” 

Keila who had seen the lunch menu in the cafeteria was her favorite food - rendang then lost his appetite when he heard Nuri's speech. Keila cast her gaze towards Saints and Irene who was sitting on the other side of Nuri and Keila got the same eye gaze from Saints and Irene: sharp, curious and probing. 

“I-that's actually, I have no relationship with your idol young director Liam-assistant. But maybe someone I know has a relationship with Liam,” explained Keila in an unconvinced tone. 

“Who is that, Brother? Who might have a relationship with Liam?” holy asked quickly and impatiently. 

“A-I can't tell you before I ask that person clearly. Yesterday by chance he took care of me and when I wanted to contact you, he told me that he sent his friend to deliver my license to the office.” Keila explained again. 

“He takes care of Brother?” tanya Nuri was surprised. 

“Ya.” Keila nodded her head answering Nuri's question. 

“Men or women?” This time it was Irene's turn to ask Keila and the question managed to make Keila nervous when she heard it. “Already expected, the person who took care of Brother yesterday was a man. Is that guy the new lover of Big Brother?” 

The question that came out of Irene's mouth managed to make Saints and Nuri who were sitting on the same side as Irene, startled at the same time. 

“Kakak has a new lover??” 

Keila looked at the three co-workers with a misguided look. Keila did not want to tell her new relationship was just one day old but due to an urgent situation, Keila may have to tell her new relationship to her three colleagues. 

“Kak?” ask Nuri again. “Say, does Brother have a new lover?” 

“Yes, Brother. Please tell us,” added Suci. 

“I-it-“

“Don't the problem of that time is because of that man, Brother? Brother who came in a pale state to the office at that time, due to Brother's problem with the man, right?” Irene cut Keila's words quickly as she recalled something in her mind. 

Caught off guard by Irene, Keila was forced to nod her head in response to Irene's conjecture. “Yes, I had a lover not long ago.” 

“What??” Suci and Nuri said the same thing and gave the same reaction: surprise and disbelief, when they heard the answer coming out of Keila's mouth. “Since when did Brother have a lover?” 

“New yesterday.” Keila replied with a chuckle due to a misbehavior. 

Nuri and Suci then cast a glance at each other for not believing Keila's relationship was still one day old. On the other hand Irene who had more intelligent brain abilities, remained calm despite being just as surprised to hear a confession from Keila. But the feeling that Irene was currently feeling was not only shocked but worried for Keila.

“No know the man how long?” Irene asked in a serious tone. 

“Why are you asking like that, Irene?” Keila turned around to ask Irene. 

“I'm just worried about Sister's relationship. Not that I meant saying anything bad about Big Brother, but not too long ago Big Brother had a relationship with a bad guy: Noah. The mistake Noah made was not entirely the fault of Brother but in the end Brother was blamed and got suspended from the company. I was just worried about Big Brother, so I asked Big Brother that,” Irene explained. 

Suci and Nuri who had been shocked were not upset to hear Keila's confession then immediately nodded their heads together when they heard Irene's explanation. 

“Hearing Irene's words, I also felt worried, Brother,” added Suci. 

“I too, Brother. If something bad happens to Brother again, I must also feel worried,” added Nuri. 

Keila who had felt a sharp probing gaze from the three coworkers as well as her junior then saw the gazes of the three colleagues turned into worried gazes. Keila smiled happily at the three juniors she grew up with so much care for her that they were worried like she was seeing right now. “Thank you for worrying about me. But I guess this time my choice will not be wrong.” 

Keila then gestured to the three comrades to bring their faces closer to Keila. 

“What do you want Brother to say?” Irene asked after bringing her face closer to Keila along with Nuri and Saints. 

“You heard my story how I met my lover?” 

Sacred, Nuri and Irene spontaneously nodded her head hearing the offer from Keila's mouth. 

“This is a story that you should tell us,” said Nuri spirit. 

“I'm very curious,” added Suci.

Keila then let out a long sigh before finally telling her about her first meeting with her current Andra-lover. While eating his lunch, Keila continued to tell the three colleagues. But because of the short break, some things Keila did not tell her three colleagues. But even though the story that came out of Keila's mouth is a fairly short story and some things there are that Keila did not have time to tell, Keila said, the three juniors listened to Keila's story with blushing faces and commented several times on Keila's story. 

“I love so much the reason that Brother's lover made to hold Big Brother's hand when in the market,” Sacred comment. 

“Ahhh, romantic once lover Sister. How can you call your sister a rainbow that you can see every day? If I had heard it, I would have immediately fallen in love when I heard it,” commented Nuri. 

“Aahhh, this is the same as the story of the female lead character and the male lead character in the novels we read,” the Holy comment. 

If Suci and Nuri who listened to Keila's story gave this comment and that was during Keila's story, another case with Irene who listened to Keila's story carefully. Only when Keila finished telling the story did Irene comment on Keila's story. 

“Sister remember the incident related to Kak Noah and got Kak suspended?” Irene asked Keila at the end of the story. 

“Yes, I remember. Why are you asking that, Irene?” 

“That day when I saw Big Brother's face when I received the suspended decision and cleaned up Sister's workbench, I saw regret in the clear picture on Brother's face. But hearing Brother's story just now, I felt relieved. That day when Brother was suspended was probably the unluckiest day of Big Brother's life but on that very day Brother met with Brother's lover and started a new story with him.” 

“You're right, Irene,” said Keila agreed. “That day, I considered that day to be the best day of my life after the day of my father's death. But hearing your explanation, I guess I can no longer call that day a bad day.” 

“That's right, Brother,” says Suci agrees. 

“True, Sister. The misadventure that befell Brother turned into luck because it made Sister meet with Sister's lover,” added Nuri. 

“But. . I really envy Big Brother. Brother's lover calls Sister his lover on the first day you meet. It was really romantic once,” Suci said. “I want to meet such a man as well.” 

Keila's story ends when the break ends. The three co-workers of Keila returned to her room with smiles on their faces as they had just heard the story of Keila which was almost the same as the novels they had read before. While Keila smiled because she remembered Irene's words to her about the bad day that turned into a lucky day for Keila. Thas right. Irene's words were right. The misfortune that befell me, made me meet with Andra. If I had always been annoyed by our meeting, but today I am really grateful to have met him that day. 

“Kak?” call Nuri when she wants to sit in front of her desk. 

“What's up?” keila asked with a smile on her lips. 

“Kakak did tell a long story about Brother's lover, but Sister's story does not answer who the person who has a relationship with Liam-assistant our young director was.” 

The question that came out of Nuri's mouth then made Suci and Irene who forgot her main goal “capture” Keila to eat together, recall her. 

Keila again received a probing gaze from Saints, Nuri and Irene. “Ah, I understand. Let me ask my beloved who knows our young director Liam-assistant. But why are the three of you curious about it?” 

The saint approached towards Keila and then whispered. “If we can't get the attention of our young director, then maybe one of us can attract the attention of his assistant Liam. Doesn't Liam also have a handsome face?” 

Keila widened her eyes hearing Sacred's explanation for not believing what her three fellows and juniors were thinking. “Your base is. . . how can you think like that??”
