For almost a month, Batari Mahadewi, Jalu and Niken have reached the town of Mutiara Biru which is the western part of Swargadwipa region and became the border area with the easternmost region of Swargabhumi kingdom.
Blue Pearl City is a fairly large and advanced city. Unlike the cities in the middle, the cities in the border region such as the Blue Pearl city were also border guard warrior bases.
The city was equipped with adequate military facilities that not only had complete weaponry, but also had scattered spy soldiers and partially infiltrated the Swargabhumi kingdom's territory, also some war strategists who were assigned to organize the defense in the city.
The funding from the central government for the border areas is quite large. In addition to building military facilities, it is also a support for the city government to carry out its government. Thus, there was no reason for the border towns to rebel and join the kingdoms next door. That is why the kingdom of Swargadwipa became one of the powerful kingdoms on the island of Mahabhumi.
The three disciples of Ki Gading Putih were greatly amazed by the elegance of the Blue Pearl city. Jalu never invited his father to visit the border city and therefore, the scenery in the city of Blue Pearl is new to him.
In that city, they would search for the Sky Lantern college and complete their tasks. There are several white schools in the city of Blue Pearls and Langit Lantern college is the strongest and is the only college that gets financial support from the central government because the college dedicates its existence as guard of the western pillar of defense Swargadwipa.
“That's great this city.” Said Niken amazed.
“Of course, sister. A strong kingdom must build its peripheries. This is a strategy to generate some goals. First, it is to bind the suburbs so as not to join other kingdoms. Second, the suburbs are the face of the central government. People outside Swargadwipa will see the suburbs first before entering the central area. So, people will express that the city in the middle will be even more magnificent if the suburban city they see looks magnificent. This is one of the defense strategies.” Said Jalu.
“Kakak seems to understand very well how the government system works.” Said Niken.
“How not, before I studied in the padepokan, every day I learned the art of war and state strategy with my uncle.” Said Jalu.
“Kakak really will be expected to return to the kingdom after the teacher decides that brother has learned enough in padepokan.” Said Niken. His heart rippled a little when he said that.
“Once you know, but I want to tell you something. Later but.” Said Jalu. Niken was very curious, but he did not want to urge his brother to say it right then and there.
In fact, Batari Mahadevi is not looking to learn or know something. He just wanted his two brothers to be closer. That'sthat's all. He can understand the feelings of love that others experience, but he never feels to experience such feelings even though his mind is not the mind of children. His mind is more than mature to understand the question of love.
They arrived at a city park. It was not too late and their stomachs were not hungry.
“What if we rest first here?” guli Jalu's.
“I agree.” Batari Mahadewi. In his mind, it was a comfortable place to rest. More precisely for a pair of human beings. So, he planned to go for a moment to let his two brothers together there.
“This place is so beautiful. There's a pond there too, there's a flower garden, there's a fruit garden. If this is the story, we will not rest, but even take a walk here.” Niken said with a happy laugh.
“It may be, but we find a shady place first. I want to lie down for a while on the grass.” Said Jalu. All three are looking for a clean place under a large tree with twisting stems and not too many leaves, but have abundant purple flowers.
“Kak Jalu and sister Niken, you guys are here first yes, I want to go for a while to find food. I thought, lunch in this place is much more fun than we should eat in a crowded store.” Batari Mahadewi. Without waiting for an answer from Niken and Jalu, he had left both.
“What did Kak Jalu want to say earlier when we were on the road?” ask Niken.
“About me.” Said Jalu. He then fell silent, weighing something and what sentence was appropriate to express it. Niken wait.
“Why with you?” niken asked impatiently if he saw the look on Jalu's face turned a little mysterious. Jalu did not answer immediately. His eyes looked far away at the horizon.
