When Jalu, Niken and the three warriors had almost reached the village they intended, they heard a giant voice that was there. Jalu immediately rushed ahead of the three warriors.
“Uncle, we have to stop first. Do not rush into the village. What if we monitor them from above a lush tree?” Jalu.
“Good idea, fine then.” They immediately shot towards the tall, densely leafy trees. From there, they could see about fifteen giants who were locking up some humans like caging a chicken with a large wooden cage.
“Becah, my sister is in that cage!” said one of the warriors.
“Patience, uncle. I'll help you. We just need to ascertain how many numbers and positions they all have in this village. Later, we will distract all of them, while uncle three can save those people and take them away from here,”.
They again noticed the movements of the giants and mapped the situation there. A little while later, Jalu began to give instructions to Niken and the three warriors to move. Jalu and Niken darted first and fished for the giants to get away from the wooden cage containing dozens of humans.
The movements of Jalu and Niken did make the giants move after them. Meanwhile, the three warriors darted and freed the humans in the cage, then took them immediately to flee the village as soon as possible.
Hope is only in the hands of Jalu and Niken. If they failed, it was likely that the three warriors and the ones who escaped were hard to survive.
“Niken, I will give them a surprise and when that happens, kill as many giants as possible with your sword!” jalu said as the two of them leaped at medium speed to lure the giants after them both.
“Good, sister!”
Of those fifteen giants there were two whose abilities were on par with the powerful giants that Jalu and Niken had faced before.
After the giants were far enough away, Jalu suddenly rained down on them all with flames. The sudden attack left them very shocked and immediately lay down to take shelter from the constantly deployed blaze.
Niken who had coated himself with ice power then darted and slashed the giants with his sword. Before the heirloom sword wipes out all its victims, the two formidable giants in the group shake off its power and make Niken bounce quite far.
Fortunately, he was wearing a battle suit made by Batari Mahadewi. The shirt didn't hurt him even if he bounced away.
There are only two giants who are still healthy and violent. The others, though still alive, looked helpless with their bodies that had been burned. The two giants immediately shot towards Jalu and charged at the fire youth with energy blows. Although the punch could be held back, Jalu's body was always pushed back due to the force of the attack.
From behind, Niken who had woken up then darted quickly, slashing his sword at one of the giant backs. The slash managed to split the large, furrowed back. One giant has collapsed. There was only one more giant who went berserk after finding out his comrades were dead.
The giant removed the chain wrapped around its waist, then channeled its power in the chain and twisted the chain like a propeller. The chain's round destroys whatever it acquires. Occasionally, the chain fired a powerful shot of red light that shot toward Jalu and Niken. The chain round could also easily brush off the fire and ice attacks sent by the two White Ivory Ki disciples.
“Sial, how to get close to the giant. The chain movement is very fast and strong,” said Jalu.
Niken hummed a soft song, propagating his energy through the ground so that the sound waves of the consciousness-grabber would not disperse while his opponent was still spinning the chain. Shortly after, Niken managed to snatch the consciousness of his opponent.
The suddenly dazed giant was not long-lived as Jalu quickly darted and swung his sword right at the giant's neck. As soon as all was done, Jalu again obliterated the trace of the attack.
“We succeeded, brother!”
“Luckily it's just a giant like this. They are still not in the knight class despite having great strength,” said Jalu.
“Next, what will we do?”
“We follow the group of villagers. Who knew they would get into trouble halfway!” Jalu and Niken immediately darted to catch up with the group that had fled. They are still not too far away, because they only rely on their feet to run.
“Do not hurry, uncle. Stop first! We've managed to clean up all those giants?!” jalu half shouted to the three warriors who were running along with the people they saved.
“What? You guys killed them all?” said one of the warriors half in disbelief.
“True, uncle. So, to save energy, we should walk normally. I will help to keep watch when we encounter other giants. We will be completely safe after passing through that hill, at least our brothers are there,” Niken said.
“Alright then, what if we rest first, it looks like they are very exhausted!” the swordsman's proposal.
“Yes, it's good we rest first. It seems like they are all starving, right? I'll go for a moment to find something to eat!” said Jalu.
“Thank you young swordsman, we will wait here!” the swordsman's word.
While Jalu rushes to find something to eat, Niken accompanies the three warriors to keep the escapees safe. Their faces still looked frightened even though there were no more giants there. Surely so, a few moments before they were helped, the giant nation ate their kinsmen alive.
The resident was very sorry for not immediately moving to the western region since the giant nation came to Mahabhumi.
A while later, Jalu had come with a big bull that he had no idea where. The big bull was enough to be the food of the entire entourage of the citizens. Thus, they had the energy to continue the journey.
They flocked and cleaned the bull, and separated the flesh from the bone, pierced the pieces of flesh as big as a fist with the twig that had been slashed, and burned them. Each one got a few pieces of meat enough to fill their stomachs that had been empty since the giant nation suddenly came and locked them all in a cage.
While the men were eating in a hurry, Jalu and Niken immediately recovered with the yellow mustika they had stocked. Mustika became a valuable item for the warriors when they had to survive in the dire situation.
