I can finally finish this story. As I promised all my friends that I was responsible for writing this story to the end.
Batari Mahadevi is my first novel. There are so many flaws in this story. But I'm not gonna fix it. I will make my personal notes and lesson materials so that I will not fall into the same mistakes in creating the storyline. Every time I read, if I meet the wrong one, it must be upset right, hahaha, that way I will still be a humble person. Hopefully. Narcissists are yak!
I am so grateful, this far from perfect story is still acceptable to all of my friends.
Surely, this story would never have become like this without the support of many parties. So through this closing, let me express my gratitude.
My first thank you is for the author Novita Budi Lestari. She is a beloved wife who often gives a lot of input, reprimands, kisses, passion, and love without limits so that I remain excited. My wife also wrote, titled AMBERLEY. The work is finished, friends. Loss if not read. Sometimes we quarrel when discussing the story in the story of Amber and Gian there, a teenage romance with unique twists and turns of love. Believe me not, the writing language in AMBERLEY is better read than Batari Mahadewi. Novi is more painstakingly written and ngedit than I am.
You are the best, beib. The story ends at last. Didn't know, your husband's creepy finally graduated as a novel writer.
Second thanks to all my readers. Just because of you, I want to finish this story. Just because of you I got windfall too. So, thank you very much. Believing in disbelief, I often consider the input, suggestions, and criticisms of friends all to determine the next chapter-chapter. But if it's a suggestion to edit, sometimes I'm lazy, hehehe, sorry. Anyway, thank you for all forms of support and encouragement given to me both in the form of likes, comments, votes, tips, prayers, praise, meaning, and whatever it is. It's all a blessing to me.
Thank you third I gave to brother Jo. He is a legendary reader in Noveltoon/Mangatoon. One day, he met Batari Mahadewi's work, then went into my chat group, gave me a lot of support and threats so I could write it to the end. Somehow, brother Jo gave up his time to collect points and ngevote Batari. He was on the top podium in Batari's vote. Well, this Jo brother finally also gave himself up to be an admin on my GC. Thanks Jo, sorry I'm too busy and you're a GC manager. Only this simple story that has ended can I give you.
Thank you to all four of my author noveltoon friends. There are many names. So if I write some names, it will cause a question mark for the unnamed. Thanks to them I learned a lot. Thanks to brothers and sisters.
Special thanks, of course, to the Mangatoon and Noveltoon Platform for the opportunity for me to learn and work here, as well as for the fortune given to me.
Thanks to Mangatoon/Noveltoon, I finally ventured to write a novel. Before, I was just a failed poet, a terrible theatrical, a gig lightingman who was afraid of shock, an English teacher who always google if there are students who ask, "Sir, what does this mean?" I finally gave up being a teacher. Resign, then really prepare the heart and dare to take the writing path to life.
There may be one or two of the Batari readers who want to become writers someday. As something I can share, writing is the same as reading. Believe not believe. A writer uses words to convey what is in his head. While reading it put words into the head to imagine the event.
Is writing exhausting? The writing activity seems to just sit still and type. But his fatigue is different. If I put up a performance light that weighs 5-10 kg each, bring it from the bottom up by climbing a small staircase for 12 hours of full work per day, then after the project was completed I could immediately sleep soundly. But writing as many as 5 chapters a day or about 5000 words, surely my head is circling when I want to sleep.
Not to mention if you get a comment that slightly touched the heart, hahaha, it feels like it could be for days.
But then I prefer to write with a little income that if lucky, can still be used to connect life for a few days. Writing is not a way to make a living, not just looking for fun, but there are things that are important to me.
Throughout my life, I consumed many stories, many stories from various things, both in everyday life and in the world of fiction (Novels, movies, comics, etc.). What I felt when I was enjoying those stories, I always seemed to put myself in the world of that story. A lot of fiction in the head that has already settled down will be dangerous for my own psychological development if I do not release it in the form of work. Everyone is not the same, of course, but every time you write a poem, novel, or article, you feel comfortable afterwards. Yeah, it's like people venting.
But, of all the things I learned, the best practice for writing a novel or a long prose, other than reading of course, was to write poetry. When I write a poem, I try hard to twist the meaning of the word, or use the arrangement of words in an unusual way.
Like this; tonight I saw you sipping a cup of moon tears that I had been storing in the fridge for a few days. You said it felt too sad. You told me to add a few seeds of the boiling sun in the kitchen.
Well, some of the sentences above seem unnatural, right? If I really need that kind of training sometimes. The goal is to stretch my imagination wide. That's the first one. Furthermore, I feel like I can be more friendly with words.
This is a very long cover, right?! hahaha, intentionally. Let it be a thousand words. There is a sad feeling when it comes to ending this story. That is, I will part with the writing activities of Batari Mahadevi who for seven months colored my days.
Sometimes I write when the mood is good. Sometimes contrary. Not necessarily if writing in a good mood can produce a chapter that is good to read. In fact, I often experience writing when the mind is in turmoil, but the results are satisfactory. At least for myself.
So, write yes write. No need to wait for ideas to come. No need to wait for the mood to be good. Let each word that meets into that sentence will lead us to the next sentences that form the storyline. As with exploring unfamiliar forests, just choose a preferred path without having to really know where the journey will end. The most important thing is to enjoy all the joys and sorrows of the journey.
End of the word, thank you all. Sorry if there is anything less pleasing than my existence in this world. See you at my other work.
