Pendekar Batari Mahadewi: The Journey to Find Your Self
Episode 148 Arrives at the Temple of Sacred Fire

After weeks of travel, passing through villages on the island of Fire some of which have been destroyed by silver man attacks, finally Batari Mahadevi and Nala arrived at the center of the city of Pulau Api. The large city with four volcanoes surrounding it is very crowded, much different from the villages that have been seen by Nala and Batari Mahadewi.

Batari Mahadevi and Nala are still on top of the hill in the fire mountains that surround the city center. From there, the two observed the grandeur of the city center and could easily map out what buildings were there. The hill is not far from the city center, just stay down to get to the amazing city.

“The city is very magnificent and much different from Swargadwipa. Look at that, a lot of buildings made of iron.” Batari Mahadewi.

“You're right, the island is also rich in metals. Fire island man has the ability and skill to create objects made of metal.” Nala.

“If in our world the metals are only used to make weapons, then on this island, we can even find a store that sells iron balls as raw materials for buildings, furniture, weapons, etc, or even craft.” Batari Mahadewi.

“I think forming metal into certain objects is a human-human skill on the island of fire, so that the citizens of any bias, as long as it has the power of fire, can easily soften the iron and shape it in such a way. But to find a metal mine, I think only certain parties have permission from the kingdom.” Nala.

“This city has not been touched by the silver man attack. I believe they should exert a large amount of force before attacking that city center. Moreover, many fire humans who had high abilities lived in that city. We have seen firemen flying over the city several times. It seems like it has become commonplace there.” Batari Mahadewi.

“See it's dance, a building with a very high tower soaring into the sky and at its peak there is a blue-colored flame, maybe it is a temple of Holy Fire.” Nala said as she pointed towards the west of the city.

“And the region is certainly a kingdom, no, there is a high and large metal fortress, then in the middle there is a very large building. The largest and most luxurious building in the city.” said Batari Mahadevi.

“Although magnificent and all-metal, but the shape of the city layout is a little strange. Much different from the city of Swargadwipa which has been designed in such a way as not to be easily penetrated by other royal forces that will attack.” Nala.

“Perhaps because the city is inhabited by many high-powered humans, and almost all buildings are made of metal, they are not too thought to erect a fortress to layered, but they are clearly concerned about the beauty.” Batari Mahadewi.

“We should immediately enter the city, then look for a holy temple. Maybe the city gatekeeper will offer help after we show the badge of master Xima.” Nala.

“Come we get there.” Batari Mahadewi. The two rushed down the hill and walked towards the entrance gate of the city center. The gate was guarded by dozens of royal warriors dressed in flame-retardant metal clothes, in contrast to the uniforms worn by special warriors like Zura and his subordinates when the two one-month world warriors met in the village of elder Zion.

“Sorry, you foreigners, we have to check you first. What is your purpose for coming here?” asked one of the gatekeepers in a stern tone.

“We came to deliver this to the holy temple.” Batari said Mahadewi while showing the badge of teacher Xima that he brought. The guard's face was shocked. He knew if the badge fell into someone else's hands, then teacher Xima was gone.

“How could teacher Xima be killed? Were you there at the time?” ask the guard.

“Yes, we talked for a while before he died of severe injuries while facing a silver man who had wings on his back.” Batari Mahadewi. The bodyguard was finally convinced that the two people before him were not lying.

“Thank you very much, uncle. It was supposed that uncle carried out the task so he had to behave like that. Which road should we take to get to the holy temple?” ask Nala.

“Master and miss are our guests who bring news and important things. We are obliged to deliver you and your ladies.” Said the guard, then he told one of his comrades to do something. Soon, an iron chariot with two lion-headed horses had arrived.

“Please ladies and gentlemen get on that train. We will escort the master and the lady to the temple of Sacred Fire.” Said the guard. After Batari Mahadewi and Nala boarded, the train then drove fast.

By riding the train, Batari Mahadewi and Nala can feel the fun of the trip while sitting and enjoying the view from the window. Although it was much slower when compared to jumping or flying at high speed, but it turned out that the journey by train did not take long to arrive at the Temple of Sacred Fire.

The two guards of the Temple of Sacred Fire welcomed Batari Mahadevi and Nala in different ways as they were both delivered by special trains of important guests.

“Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, can we help you?” ask the guard.

“We delivered this badge and we would like to meet with the master teacher to convey something important.” Batari Mahadewi.

The guard immediately changed his countenance when he saw teacher Xima's badge. His tears trickled, and he apologized and invited Batari Mahadevi and Nala to wait in the living room. Shortly thereafter, a very old figure but emitting great dignity from the look of his face welcomed the arrival of his two guests.

Without asking much, and as if already knew what important things to say, the old figure invited Batari Mahadevi and Nala to follow him to a special room in the temple.

“Include, my name is Zotha and I am the master teacher of the Nine main guards of this sacred temple.” The old man introduced himself. His shady smile adorned his wrinkled-looking face.

“We are from the world of one moon, grandfather, and accidentally exist in this world. We actually intended to come to this island to ask for help. But on the way we accidentally saw teacher Xima battle with the silver man. We were involved in the battle, too bad, teacher Xima died and left these two things to be delivered to grandfather.” Batari Mahadewi presented the badge of master Xima and the secret book of the Temple of Holy Fire.

“You have studied this book?” ask grandpa Zotha.

“Pardon us who have been presumptuous to open the book and study its contents.” Batari Mahadewi.

“Hahaha, it's okay. Such books are written to be studied. Thank you for being kind enough to deliver this badge and this book. In return from us, what can we give you both? You said your goal, first, was to ask for help, right?” ask grandpa Zotha.

“In order to return to our home world, then we have to increase our energy, grandfather. On the way, we met with the Rapapu teacher in Parapiriri city, in Madapala country. Master Rapupu who gave us instructions that we absorb energy from fire energy sources on this island.” Batari Mahadewi said directly on the point of destination.

The grandfather looked at the two guests, then he weighed for a while. His old face seemed to have known many things when he saw the two guests. But the grandfather did not want to say what he knew from Nala and Batari Mahadevi.
