Wads of fog were seen at a point far from where Batari Mahadewi and Nala were located. The sudden wisp of mist that appeared was no ordinary sight. At the very least, that wisp of fog appeared in the clear daylight.
“You saw that, right?” ask Batari Mahadevi to Nala.
“Yes, I saw it. His energy is also getting stronger. Is the Golden Island behind the fog?” ask Nala.
“Yes, the Golden Island is behind that fog. We're lucky the island showed itself at this time.” Batari mahadewi.
“You're lucky to see it. Who would have known that behind the fog was the Golden Island?! It's worth it that the island is hard to find.” Nala.
“Come on we'll be there soon, Nala.” Take Batari Mahadewi.
“Ayo.” Nala.
The two of them immediately rushed towards that wisp of fog. In a short time, both of them were already at the edge of the fog. Slowly Batari Mahadevi and Nala flew across the sea and through the thick fog. The further the two entered that thick fog, the faintest of both caught a glimmer of golden-coloured light reflected on that white mist.
The Golden Island had been seen before the eyes. The shape is not at all like an island, but like an enormous turtle whose entire surface is gold; golden sand, gold rocks, and anything golden. There are no plants there. In addition to sand and gold rocks, there are beautiful buildings and statues of various shapes that are of course made of gold.
Batari Mahadevi and Nala set foot on the island in the shape of a turtle shell. Both hold sand by the beach to make sure that the sand is really gold. And it turns out that it is true that the sand is golden sand.
“If in our world there was an island of this kind, it would definitely be the snatch of everyone.” Nala.
“But gold should be a sacred object, not something made into jewelry or even money. Gold is different from other metals; its energy radiance is very pure. This island, even if there is no main energy source here, will still emit very strong pure energy.” Batari Mahadewi. The two walked off the waterfront and headed towards the center of the island.
“There are absolutely no plants here.” Nala said, “Try you to reactivate your new sense of sight and look for a place that becomes the human settlement of Golden Island.”
“Already, and strangely enough, after we set foot in this place, my eyes could not function as before. My ears also can't hear sound from a distance.” Batari Mahadewi.
“Don't we lose some ability without us noticing when we get to this island?!” nala.
“Now, but that's all I realized. How're you? Try to feel the changes in your body that you are experiencing!” batari Mahadewi.
Nala tried to turn her hand into a hand of fire. There's no change. Likewise when he tried to use the power of his ice and thunderbolt.
“Kurasa, the power we get from the islands of Fire, Ice, and Thunder does not work here.” Nala.
“Yes, I can't use it either. In a moment, let's go for a moment from this island, then we try to take out our abilities again.” Take Batari Mahadewi.
“Ya, I'm curious.” Nala. Both of them flew away from the island, then by floating in space, they tried to use the power of Fire, Ice, and Thunderbolt they had. The power is back to how it was.
I guess only if we set foot on the island, then our only remaining ability is the power we get from our home world. Just like the first time we were in this world.” Batari Mahadewi.
“You're right, Dance. But it's nothing. Hopefully there are no obstacles on this island. We can't do much without the power we get from this world.” Nala.
“Nobody here.” Batari Mahadewi.
“Only those statues. Why are there so many ape man statues here?!” nala.
“But the statues radiate energy.” Batari Mahadewi.
“Ya because it is a golden statue.” Nala.
“But what I feel is different, Nala. But I don't know.” Batari Mahadewi. The two walked around in the uninhabited settlement.
“This island is wide. We do not know where to look for that energy source.” said Nala.
“Of course in the holy temple. Let's just fly.” said Batari mahadewi.
After flying at high speed towards the center of the island, Batari Mahadevi and Nala finally arrived at a city much larger than the deserted settlements they had passed. Merely, there was one in common; the city also seemed to be uninhabited. Those magnificent and beautiful buildings made of gold looked useless. Batari Mahadevi and Nala came down to confirm their vision from space.
The city is located right in the middle of the island. As the island was shaped like a turtle shell, the city was at its peak.
“Truly weird. No one but these golden statues.” Nala said while paying attention to the statues that are in the form of ape man.
“I'm suspicious, Nala. Lest these golden statues were the inhabitants of the Golden Island. Just look at the shape, the statues seem real. Even down to every feather. Is it possible if each strand of this feather is a carving?” batari Mahadewi.
“Of course it is impossible for these statues to be made by engraving. You remember when I made an ice sculpture that resembled you. Maybe that's how these statues were made. But who made it? While we can't find anyone here.” Nala.
“As if we just walk around looking around this whole city. It's free for us to fly if we don't know what place we're going.” Batari Mahadewi.
The two warriors spent the day walking around the city. They were actually curious to get into one of the house buildings. But there was a sense of reluctance in the hearts of both of them, as if they felt that every step and every single thing they did had been watched. But they really do not know, what strength is beyond the reach of the two of them.
The only way to know everything about the island was by reading the writings they encountered; on the walls of the walls and on the gold inscriptions. Only Batari Mahadevi could read it. But not much information they get.
They finally arrived at a temple in the middle of the city which is the same as the temple is the highest position among other buildings because it is located at the top of the shell tortoises. The courtyard of the temple was vast and in the courtyard were thousands of half-ape human statues in cross-legged poses. All looked the same, neatly lined up around the temple.
Batari Mahadevi and Nala were still outside the temple, looking at the contents inside through the gate that was wide open, as if the gate had never been closed.
“Do you want to get in there?” ask Nala.
“This temple is the only temple we have encountered so far. Did you not expect that this temple is not a sacred temple of the island of Gold?” ask Batari Mahadevi.
“You're right, Dance. Let's just go in. Who knows we find interesting things in it.” Nala.
Batari Mahadevi hesitated, but Nala had already stepped in through the gate. Want him not to follow him. But not far away the two entered the temple courtyard, suddenly the statues lined up neatly in the courtyard moved as if alive.
