When heading to the island of Fire, Batari Mahadevi and Nala actually pass through several small islands that look interesting when viewed from above when both are flying. Suppose they did not bring the scriptures from the Temple of Holy Fire, of course they would stop at some small uninhabited island that makes both of them curious.
After half a day of traveling, finally the island of Fire began to be seen. The island was much larger than they had imagined. From afar, there were hundreds of volcanoes soaring into the sky, billowing thin black smoke. At first glance, the island looks terrible. But on the other hand, every volcano was always surrounded with green forests.
Batari Mahadevi and Nala descend on a beach that looks deserted and uninhabited. A few tens of steps from the shoreline was a forest with various types of plants that they had never encountered before, but the trees within the forest were not as strange as all the plants on the demon island.
Batari Mahadevi and Nala walked slowly through the forest while looking at what can be eaten. Both have learned a lot about the various types of plants and fruits that can be eaten in all regions of the world three months through the collection books of Rapapu teachers. Thus, although all the plants they encountered were plants they had never seen, they had recognized some of the hand-painted ones in Rapapu master books.
“See in that direction, Dance. As I recall, the blue-colored fruit is edible and according to the notes in the book, it tastes good.” Nala.
“Yes, but I forgot the name of the fruit.” said Batari Mahadevi.
“I'll take it some.” Nala. He jumped onto the branch of the tall tree, which contained many blue fruits about the size of melons. Nala plucked some and dropped it down. Batari Mahadevi caught him before the fruits fell to the ground. The blue-colored fruit has a hard skin like a coconut shell. After Batari Mahadevi split the fruit with the tip of his nails sharper than all the heirlooms in the world that month, he got the flesh of the fruit is white, soft, and fragrant.
“Harum once this fruit. The aroma is as sharp as durian fruit, but the smell is clearly different from durian fruit. You want to try it first, Nala?” ask Batari Mahadevi.
“Why don't you go first?!”nala.
“I split it for you. If this fruit is poisonous, I will cure you.” Batari Mahadewi.
“Sials. I'm the one you're experimenting with! Besides, I can also cure you if you get poisoned. Here, I'll eat first.” Nala. He devoured the flesh of the fruit and at once his face turned happy. He had never eaten such fruit before. The blue-colored fruit was even tastier than the fruit of the people who were emitting red light when they first set foot in Madapala.
“Dance, this fruit is not tasty. For me, please open the skin. Let me eat.” Nala. But his speech made Batari Mahadevi take all the fruit and did not intend to give it to Nala.
“Hahaha, you're like a child. Eat, Dance. This fruit is not poisonous. And really delicious.” Nala.
“I am a little boy. At least if you see it from my age.” Batari said Mahadevi while devouring the blue fruit.
“Body we are both older than our actual age. Surely in the world of one moon, people will think we are 16 years old.” Nala.
“Added again with the knowledge and the way we speak like this, everyone would not believe if we were both still 10 years.” Batari Mahadewi.
“I just can't believe it. What else is someone else. I'm sure we're trapped in this body. Meanwhile, our minds are much more mature than teenagers in general.” Nala.
“What adult mind do you think?” tanya Batari Mahadewi.
“As for example think of what answer is the least cheap to answer your question just now.” replied Nala. The answer that makes Batari Mahadewi stop continuing his question, which could lead to a place called ‘perasaan’.
After being satisfied to eat some of the amazing fruit, the two continued their journey by jumping lightly from one tree to another. They did not want to rush to explore the new place. Sometimes they stopped to see various strange and beautiful animals that inhabited the forest.
“What if we don't find a settlement if we travel too leisurely like this?” ask Batari Mahadevi.
“Hahaha, we're used to spending the night in the woods, aren't we?! So just calm down. Look up ahead there, there are huge rocks that are emitting energy. Let's go over there. Who knows I'm lucky to get some more energy crystals.” Nala.
“Just had a fight. It seems like this area is not as peaceful as we imagine when we enjoy the blue fruit and see the beautiful life in the forest.” Nala.
“Yes, we have to be vigilant. I'm sure, the humans on this island have high abilities. At least from what we saw before, the fire man was emitting a blue flame. Meanwhile, the two of us are still at the stage of ordinary fire even though we managed to learn the secret scriptures from the holy temple. We can only reach the peak stage after we have successfully absorbed the pure energy from the main energy source on this island.” Batari Mahadewi.
“I'm not sure if all the fighters on this island have the equivalent of the fire man we previously met. What I heard from the silver man, he was one of the guards of the holy temple. So obviously his ability is very high. Its energy far surpasses our energy.” Nala.
“You're right. If the silver man does not fight first with the fire man, of course we can not defeat him easily.” Batari Mahadewi.
“It is good that we hide the power of our fire, so that we will not be suspected. However, we carry a secret book, which certainly should not be carelessly fell into the wrong hands.” Nala.
“The book we are carrying is one part of the other seven parts. This book is the most basic book. And precisely because of that, this book became the most important book. If the silver man had learned it, how terrible his strength was.” said Batari Mahadewi.
“Yes, even you see for yourself, when I use that style of fire completely, my strength is much increased rapidly and my body changes will become a dangerous weapon.” Nala. He then stood on a large rock not far from the body. Nala found a source of energy that she was about to take. Soon, he managed to lift a clear crystal about the size of a coconut.
“Agreat. You want to bring something that big?” ask Batari Mahadevi.
“I'll break it so it can fit in your cloak pouch.” Nala.
“I think we need to make a bag to carry all our supplies. For a long time, my pouch became filled with your crystals. I became the victim after you lost your cloak.” protest Batari Mahadewi.
“You're right we need a backpack that we can carry around easily. Generally every traveler has a backpack made of rattan to carry all supplies. Do you think we can get that kind of bag here? Ever since I arrived in Madapala, I've never seen him. The travelers only brought bundles of cloth.” Nala.
“We will make it from wood and vines. Plenty of materials are available here, right?!” batari Mahadewi.
“You can make it?” ask Nala.
“Of course. Help me find a straight and similar-sized wooden branch.” said Batari Mahadewi.
“By pleasure.” Answer Nala. He quickly gathered the dry wood, cut the wood with his inner strength so as to produce pieces of wood of approximately the exact same size. Meanwhile, Batari Mahadewi looking for vine plants that he can make rope. After that, the two were busy making two wooden backpacks to carry their supplies.
“Why not from the first time we make a bag like this?!” nala.
“Because we didn't bring many things back then. Right now, maybe we're a lot interested in bringing something. So we need these two wooden bags.” Batari Mahadewi.
The two continued their journey after finishing making bags and carrying some supplies such as forest fruits as well as some crystals that Nala had collected, which they hid in leaf bundles. The rest, they packed the bag with grass so that the contents did not scatter as they jumped from one tree to another, or occasionally flew.
Not far from the slope of the volcano that had stretched in front of them, the two young warriors finally found a village. All the villagers had red hair and pointed ears. When Batari Mahadevi and Nala entered the village, all eyes looked at the two with a less friendly gaze.
Of course such a situation makes Batari Mahadevi and Nala feel uncomfortable. Both of them keep stepping and hope to find faces that are more friendly. Unfortunately, their hopes were lost. A short while later, a group of people from the three directions suddenly surrounded the two.
