Sleeping Princess

Four wolves lined up in front of the city's barrier. We looked up. Looking at the barrier alone, we can already guess that Luse City is no grander than Pubu City.

There was no one who dressed luxuriously like the people in Pubu City. They prefer to dress dark and simple, in contrast to the citizens of Pubu City who like to dress colorful and striking with a crystal-fruited magic wand.

"It looks like their magic abilities are really low." Rui whispered in my ear.

I nodded at him, it seems like Rui was right. Here there was no one passing by on a flying magic wand.

We entered the shop area. The shop owner asked us what board we needed. Win said he wanted a board that could be used in the long run.

Shopkeepers recommend several different types. Win selects the most expensive. And take four boards of the same kind.

Me and Rui looked at each other, isn't this called waste?

Zhi laughed looking at our shocked faces, "That win has a lot of money, Jian, Rui. No need to worry about saving money, he brought a lot of money. We're not going to starve for at least another month."

Rui and I nodded, alright, then I will be relieved. Win handed out those boards to us.

"We haven't had breakfast yet, let's find a little restaurant to eat." Win casually threw his board, and jumped on top of that floating board.

He then started walking towards the crowded streets. Zhi caught up with him, me and Rui also followed. Originally not very ordinary, it was difficult to control the balance, but this was the same as riding a magic wand. It was just that his flying ability was very low. It can only fly as high as one inch.

"Can we fly higher?" Rui spelled out Zhi who was flying in front of us.

Rui again lowered her long board while grinning wide. We stopped at a dark brown building.

There are a lot of people coming in and out of the doors of this building. This is a small restaurant that Win just mentioned.

We chose a four-seat table next to an eight-seat table containing beautiful women chatting casually.

Win sat back against the girls dressed in dark robes, and we also sat on the empty seats.

A square board floated towards us. Win took. It looks like a cookbook. Win handed it to Rui after selecting a few items.

Rui showed me the board, "What do you want to eat, Jian?"

I looked around, the names of the food sounded strange, I didn't think the food would be as good as any other food I'd ever eaten before.

I also saw an item marked Win, the name is very strange, "You used to choose, Rui." I handed it to Rui again.

It seems that he chose the same menu as Win. He said, at least Win probably knows what kind of food he chose.

I looked at him in wonder. "I prefer random," then mark the item with the origin.

I handed the board to Zhi, he didn't even think before marking the item. It seems like Zhi has the same thoughts as me.

"Oh, no! Looks like the mayor's daughter's life isn't long." The person behind us suddenly called out hysterically.

Hearing them even say about the Thousand Roots Plant, Win immediately turned his head back, joining in on their conversation.

"My name, Zhi. At the meal earlier, I accidentally heard you guys mention about the Thousand Roots Plant, is the location really behind the Mayor's house?" Zhi asked without further ado.

The ladies looked at each other, then one of them nodded, "Indeed, it's behind the Mayor's house. But, why are you asking?" he asked again.

Zhi shook his head, "One of our friends is suffering from severe pain, his internal organs are destroyed and cannot be repaired with magic. Our senior ordered us to search for the Thousand Roots Plant." Zhi even unhesitatingly told us of our existence here.

The ladies nodded their heads, apparently they did not mind Zhi's story, "But the Mayor is a very stingy person. Later he was restless because the princess just wayangnya never wake up after sleeping for a hundred days more. Looks like you guys are going to be hard if you go over there and ask for help to pick up some leaves." The lady seemed to be regretful with her answer which did not help Zhi at all.

His friend patted him on the shoulder, "There may be a way," he looked at Zhi and smiled widely.

"What's that?"

"The Mayor loved his daughter very much. He was very worried because the princess never woke up. If you can wake him up, maybe the Mayor will gladly let you carry the entire stalk of a Thousand Roots." The lady smiled wider, "You guys try. We ordered different foods, but they came in the same shape. Actually, what is the use of the cuisine menu if only one type of food is brought?

Win chuckled, "Taste first, Jian. Tastes good, sour sweet and savory."

I frowned, just staring at my food was not tasteful. Is there no other?
