Journey In A Fantasy World
A Gift for Neo

As Rui and I returned to the place where Win and Yets were waiting for us, Neo seemed to have been sitting comfortably at one of the tables. Talk to other ghosts at Dixia Academy.

Rui poked my arm, "She's even easy to get along with ghosts" she whispered.

I chuckled softly in response to Rui's curse, "Perhaps because the ghost is not creepy, Rui," I replied.

Rui nodded, "I can be honest with you right, Jian?" Rui shrank the volume of her voice.

"Of course, what is it?"

"I actually loved Win from first sight."

"Wow!" I exclaimed stifled. The people gathered in front of us looked at me in wonder.

Rui instantly shut my mouth, "Can you keep it a secret about that? I'm embarrassed if anyone finds out, Jian!" Rui whispered in my ear.

I chuckled, "Of course, Rui. That was just me being surprised. You who used to avoid ghosts even fell in love with ghosts that have been hanging around for thousands of years," I held back my laughter.

"Hey, why are you standing there? Come join us!" the people of Dixia Academy exclaimed to call us. I looked at Neo, he didn't even seem to care at all.

"Hei Neo's. Have you met them?" Rui whispered in Neo's ear.

Neo nodded, "But Rui, can there be no need to whisper? My ears are hot because I've been friends with ghosts."

I laughed again, Rui really likes to whisper. I remember once when I met him first, Rui nudged my arm and said sorry while whispering softly. I think with that blonde hair he looks tomboyish and tiny. But with me being quiet, he's still quieter.

"Hi, Neo's friend. I'm June. He's Rux, next to Ruu is Paw, next to Paw is Kie. We are of the same species, snow wolves," June smiled kindly, "I already know you guys. You are Jian, whose blonde hair is Rui."

I looked at Neo, "You introduced us to them, Neo?"

"Sorry, but we're not Neo's friends. Just by chance meeting her," Rui shook her head in objection when June mentioned that we were Neo's friends. The sentence was exactly as he had said when he first met Sue and Tomu.

I saw Neo's face look folded, "You still mind thinking of me as a friend, Rui," he murmured softly.

"You're not friends, you know! More like a bully," I defended Rui.

"But why have a banquet during the day? Isn't it supposed to be usually night?" I asked curious. Because, this large hall is very crowded ghosts are busy arranging food and tidying chairs.

"Ah, that .. indeed we usually do it at night. It is a banquet held annually in the first week of the seventh month. It just so happened that there was a lunar eclipse later tonight, so we brought up the banquet during the day," explained Rux, June nodding.

"Why a lunar eclipse?" Rui added a question.

"Sstt .. You don't know? Dixia Academy has an heirloom object that must be guarded during our death. The heirloom will come out of its formation when a lunar eclipse occurs. We have to keep it so that no one has any ill intentions towards our heirloom. That's why we have an annual banquet during the day, later tonight we will be very busy keeping every corner of Dixia Academy so that no one steals our heirlooms," Ruu smiled kindly.

I doubt Ruu, why is she so relaxed about leaking the secrets of their residence to strangers like us?

Looks like the heirloom they meant was that hourglass, we were lucky to come on time, maybe we could ask Win nicely for the heirloom. If the remains come out on their own later tonight, it's not hard to talk to Win as soon as possible.

After the banquet, I asked Neo to gather with me and Rui in our room. To discuss the next action on the first heirloom we will take.

"Wow, Jian. Your room is very sophisticated," Neo even toyed with the magic mirror in our room. The mirror is similar to the Instagram Camera in our world, we can concentrate and think about what our face will be like and how we look when facing the mirror. And Neo is excited to try it out, just like me and Rui when they just walked into the room a few hours ago.

"Neo, can you sit down? Jian was about to discuss something important," Rui admonished him lazily.

I chuckled, "Because you're just checking, Neo. You do not pay attention to what is written on the door, even though there is a big writing about what is in the room. We chose a high-level magic facility, whereas you only went into an ordinary guest room" I idly explained.

"Ah, time? Isn't there nothing written on the outside?" Neo walked over to check outside. Before he looked up, I immediately chanted an illusion spell, writing appeared above the door.

'High Level Magic Facility Room'

"Well! Aye! You cheats! Why didn't you tell me? Should have said! I'll move rooms tonight." Neo exclaimed in annoyance upon realizing his mistake.

"Dian, isn't there nothing above the door?" Rui whispered in my ear.

I chuckled little, "I'm just doing it," I replied in a whisper, "Actually I cast an illusory spell in her eyes, she saw that there was such writing, but there was nothing there." I chuckled, Rui laughed, seeming to agree with what I did.

"I'll give you this room if you want to let me talk, Neo. Come here, this is very important" I said seriously.

Neo came closer, "What is that?"

"You heard, didn't you, what Rux said just now?" I lowered my voice, afraid that someone might pass by and overhear our conversation.

"Why indeed?" Neo raised the next eyebrow.

"The heirloom they were referring to was the Magic Sand Clock, Neo. That's what we need. Later in the night is a lunar eclipse, and the heirloom will come out and absorb the moon's energy to form a new eternal barrier. We can take advantage of the lunar eclipse to borrow it from them. If we talk to Win, he'll let us borrow a little."

"Where do you know that the heirloom can absorb the energy of the moon?" Neo asked curiously.

"I read it in a book just now," I pointed out a book, "Do you agree with my idea?"

Neo and Rui looked at each other after hearing the idea from me. This sounds so perfect.

"That sounds easy," Neo nodded in agreement, "I agree."

"What about you, Rui?" I looked at Rui. He nodded without saying anything. I know, he'll agree to whatever Neo and I decide.

"Then, I'll meet Win outside, maybe he won't mind," I stood up, "You can go now, Neo," I pulled Neo's hand to stand up and immediately left our room.

"Hey, you said you'd give up this room if I was willing to listen to you talk! You're the ones who should be out of my room!" Neo pulled my hand and Rui to get out of our room immediately.

"Basar you! So annoying!" Rui exclaimed in disbelief, "Jian, why are you silent about letting our cool room be snatched away by that bastard!" Rui glared at me.

I didn't know Rui would be so angry, "I'm sorry for giving this room to her, Rui. But, isn't being in any room always nice if we stay together?" I smiled to comfort him.

Rui let out a long sigh, "Alright, just think of it as a gift for a bastard!"

"By the way, Jian, can I come with you?" Rui whispered again.

"Where are you going?" I asked in wonder.

"Meeting Win," Rui grinned broadly, "Don't get me wrong, Jian, I just want to keep you company."

I chuckled softly, "Of course you can come with me, buddy. Let's go see Win now!"
