Wife To Sean

Wife To Sean
Grandpa Sam's Intentions

The atmosphere was silent for a while after everyone gathered in the dining room. No one dared to start the conversation first after the horrendous incident that occurred in one of the guest rooms in the main residence.

Gretta, who was sitting next to Felix, could only lower her face in embarrassment, while Felix himself only had a flat face.

"Etheem." Grandpa Sam's voice broke the silence in the dining room.

"Miss, Jeferson. Forgive my granddaughter's rude and disrespectful attitude. As Felix's grandfather, I sincerely apologize for what happened to you."

Gretta lifted her head and smiled awkwardly at Sam's grandfather. "Yes, Mr. Sam. I also apologize for making a fuss in this family. I was just shocked when he suddenly appeared in my room."

Felix turned to Gretta and said, "Miss, you seem to be wrong. This isn't your room, it's my sister's. I went there to get my sister's belongings and not to peek at you like you said."

Gretta was silent. It turned out that he had misunderstood the man next to him.

"You are wrong. You entered the room without knocking first" said Grandpa Sam.

Felix turned his head with an annoyed face to his Grandfather. "Grandfather, how do I know if anyone's there. The room was a regular one at Aletha and I thought no one was there."

Claire who feels guilty for putting Gretta in Aletha's room also opens her voice. "I'm sorry, Felix. I told him to occupy the room. I didn't know that room was always occupied by Aletha."

Sean turned to his wife and clasped his hand. "Darling, why are you apologizing. It's your fault month. You're free to use any room in this house you want. This residence is yours too." Sean then glanced sharply at his cousin, "Felix, it was indeed your fault. Even though there's no one there, you should at least knock on the door before entering. Looks like you've forgotten the Louris family's upbringing."

Felix clucked in annoyance at Sean's remark. "Don't interfere. You're just pissing me off."

"Already..sudaah. Nothing to bother anymore. Everything is just a misunderstanding." Sam's grandfather turned to Gretta, "Despite that, the Louris family will still be responsible for this incident, Miss Jeferson. We won't harm you."

Felix and Gretta turned their heads quickly towards Mr. Sam. "What does Grandpa mean?" Felix asked with a frown.

"You must marry her."

"What??" Gretta quickly replied, "Master Sam. This is all unnecessary. Nothing happened to us. I don't feel wronged at all."

"real Grandpa. We just. earlier I also accidentally saw his body...."

"Felix, be a man. Don't embarrass the Louris. How do we know what you did before we came. You don't run away from your responsibilities like that" Sean said with a slanted smile.

Felix was getting upset because Sean was making things worse.

"We both really didn't do anything so there's no need to take responsibility for me" Gretta said.

"Miss, Jeferson. You don't have to feel burdened. We'll be meeting your family soon to talk about this. Once again I apologize" Grandpa Sam said with a guilty face.

"Dad, shouldn't talk to Meriana first. What if he doesn't agree?" Sean's mother chimed in because her father-in-law looked serious about what she said.

Grandpa Sam thought for a moment and said, "Let's say, Miss Jeferson, I'll talk to Felix's parents first. I'll let you know again."

Claire could only look compassionately at her best friend without being able to do anything. He did not expect that there would be such an event. She feels bad because she's the one who forced Gretta to stay at her residence.

*******

After eating, everyone returned with their own activities. Sean and Felix are at work, while Claire and Gretta are in the family room.

"Gretta, I'm sorry." Claire held onto the shoulder of Gretta who was staring down with a lethargic face.

"It's all my fault. I shouldn't have brought you here" Claire continued with a guilty face.

"Alright, Claire. It's not your fault." Gretta tries to smile so Claire doesn't feel guilty anymore.

"I'm gonna ask Sean to talk to Grandpa not to extend this dowry. You take it easy."

From the left direction there was a sound of high heels that was quite loud. Claire and Gretta immediately turned to the origin of the voice and it turned out to be Aletha.

"Where, Brother Felix? I looked for him in the room, but he wasn't there."

As usual, Aletha always spoke haughtily to Claire after taking a quick glance at Gretta.

"Aletha, call me right. Aren't you an educated woman? You should know manners, let alone you from a respectable family."

Aletha was clouded with an annoyed face. "Sister-in-law, where's Brother Felix?" repeat Aletha again. This time, he spoke softly even though his face showed annoyance.

"There's a workspace."

Without saying thank you, Aletha waltzed away, but just three steps away, Aletha turned around and sat down on the empty single sofa. "Claire, Helena said you knew Wild. Are you really her ex-boyfriend?"

"Yeah." Yeah."

Aletha brought her face closer to Claire with an enthusiastic face. "Tell me, what kind of woman does she like?"

Aletha's silly questions make Gretta want to laugh. Such a question, of course, does not need to be answered. Simply looking at Claire's personality should have Aletha already knew that.

"I don't know, Aletha," Claire replied indifferently.

Aletha raised one corner of her upper lip with a face of disbelief. "Did she have a boyfriend?" Aletha asked again because she was still curious about the man she liked.

Claire took a quick glance at Gretta then sighed. "I don't know, Aletha. I no longer communicate with him. He's just my past."

Sean had just deleted and blocked Wild's phone number on his phone, how could he communicate again.

"Why are you suddenly asking, Wild?" claire asked with a probing look.

Aletha's face turned red and Claire knew what it meant even though Aletha didn't tell her. "i like it. I want to make her my lover."

"What?" The surprise was not Claire but Gretta.

Aletha's gaze immediately turned to Gretta. "I seem to have seen you before" Aletha said, squinting her eyes at Gretta. He seemed to be recalling where he had seen the woman.

"You saw her when I met her at one of the malls in town" Claire said quickly.

Aletha's mouth opened wide after she remembered it. "yes too. I just remembered." Aletha then put on her haughty face. "Aren't you the one who insulted me first? Why are you here? Who let you in here?"

Gretta started to look annoyed at Aletha's haughty attitude. "Aletha, she's my guest. Keep up!" claire said with a sharp look, "don't you know that Gretta is Wild's sister. The man you like."

Aletha's eyes grew bigger and her mouth was also wide open. "What's? You're Wild's sister?"

"True, I am indeed his sister. Wh why? This persuaded me to help you get my brother?" gretta said no less haughty.

"Aletha, have you come?"

Felix had just come out of the study and when he was going back to his room, he heard his sister's voice from the living room, that's why he walked there.

"Sister, where's my stuff?" Aletha immediately approached her brother while raising her hand towards Felix.

"There's in my room. I put it on the table. Just take it." Felix took a quick glance at his sister and turned to look at Gretta, "I want to talk to you for a while."

Aletha and Claire turned towards Gretta who looked astonished.

"You want to talk to me?" point Gretta at herself.

"Hhhmm," Felix muttered as he nodded, "follow me." Felix walked first to the balcony near the living room followed by Gretta in the back.

"Claire, what's wrong with them? Since when did my brother get along with your friend?" aletha asked as she looked at the departure of her brother and Gretta.

"Ask your brother. I don't know what's going on with them either."

On the balcony outside, Gretta and Felix seemed both silent for a few moments while staring straight ahead. "Gretta, do you want to marry me?" Felix asked as he turned his body slightly towards Gretta.

"Married to you?" Gretta turned to Felix with a surprised face.

"If you don't want to. I'll talk to Grandpa to cancel his intention to see your family."

Gretta turned to stare straight ahead as her eyes accidentally stared at Felix's iris.

"I need to know first, what you want. Even though it was unintentional and I didn't touch you at all, but I don't want you to think that I'm an immoral man. I'm not a breng-sek man running from my responsibilities, Gretta. I'm willing to marry you if you feel wronged by me" Felix continued with a serious face.

There was another feeling when Gretta heard Felix say. Although he had only met Felix once, Gretta felt that Felix was a good man, although she had misunderstood him at first.

"Felix, I'm not gonna tie you up just because of an accident. Let's just say I'm fucking. You don't have to marry me."

Felix was silent for a while then looked at Gretta with an illegible look. "Are you sure of your decision?" ask Felix again.

Gretta nodded confidently. "Yeah. I don't want you to marry me because you have to."

Seriate....
