Arguing Again

Sean's mother turned to face Claire. "Tell me, what do you want you to want to cancel your match with my son?" ask Sean's mother without further ado.

Claire could already guess what Sean's mother would say when she asked him to talk away from the main house. "Aunt Kate, I'm sorry. I can't cancel this match. Only Grandpa can cancel it. Please Aunt talk to Grandpa."

Claire actually did not want to continue the match either. It was just that he did not like to be provoked let alone be ruled by others.

"Let me drive him, I'll go see Sean."

Aunt Mey looks doubtful. During this time Sean never wanted to be served by other servants besides Mey's aunt, Sean also forbade others to enter and clean his study room in addition to Mey's aunt. "I accidentally met Aunt Mey downstairs while delivering drinks for you. Since I also want to go to your room, then I offer to deliver it for you" Claire explained.

Sean leaned his body on the chair while looking at Claire. "Are you acting like a good wife to me right now?"

Claire cleared her throat once to expel the discomfort after seeing the cold gaze and cynical speech from Sean. "What's wrong if I bring you tea? I just want to have a good relationship with you. Can't you appreciate my sincerity?"

Sean sneered mercilessly. "Is this really your talent? Tempting anyone who's around you? It's not enough that I'm your target and you're also targeting other men to be your backup."

Claire frowned because she did not understand Sean's words. "What do you mean?"

Sean snorted coldly. This time, Sean could not hide the mocking smile from his handsome face. "Stop showing a plain and innocent face in front of me. I won't get caught up in that cheap charm of yours" Sean sneered with his sharp words.

Claire took a breath and exhaled violently. "Sean, you seem to have misunderstood me. Just so you know, I don't have any feelings for you. Do you think I willingly accepted this match?" Claire laughed mockingly.

"If it wasn't for the force, I wouldn't have come here either. I would be very grateful if you could cancel this match, so don't consider yourself to be tormented by this match, I'm the same as you. I vehemently rejected this match, but I could do nothing. If you can persuade grandfather to cancel our match, please cancel it, I don't mind if that happens."

Sean raised his head staring lazily at Claire. "Don't make any more trouble in the office, especially with Aletha. If you still want to work for my company, don't make a fuss in the future. After this apologize to Aletha. Do not let your attitude against him be an example of others and do the same as you, be rude to people who are in higher positions."
