"Claire, are you here too? Why are you alone?" ask a woman while approaching Claire who just entered the ballroom where the party was held.

Claire stopped her steps while looking at the woman in front of her with an indifferent face.

"I'm sorry I forgot Sean doesn't care about you anymore." The woman wearing the red-colored dress laughed mockingly while covering her mouth with her palm.

Claire sighed violently then stared lazily at the woman. "Helena, for tonight please stay away from me. I don't want to serve you. My mood's totally ruined seeing you here."

Helena doesn't seem to care about Claire. "I don't care. It is precisely your presence for what makes my mood so damaged."

"As far as you go."

Claire then left Helena with an indifferent face. Her mood was not good after meeting Gloria, which was why Claire did not want to talk to Helena. Claire finally approached Sean's mother who was chatting with some people.

"Claire, why did you take so long?" mother Sean asked as she saw her daughter-in-law standing next to her.

"Sorry Mom, I was talking to an old friend. I accidentally met her earlier," I'm Claire honestly.

"Then, come with me." After saying goodbye to his acquaintances, Sean's mother invites Claire to sit at one of the tables in the corner.

Just as they were sitting down, Helena came over with a big smile. "Aunt Kate, we meet again" Helena said softly.

"Yes, Auntie." Helena then turned to Claire who was displaying her indifferent face.

"Claire, are you here too?" ask Helena.

"Yes" Claire replied briefly.

Helena's acting is great. Up ahead earlier, he greeted her first and now pretended as if he had just met her.

"Auntie, can I sit here?"

"Of course I can. Sit down." Helena immediately smiled and pulled up the chair that was right next to Sean's mother with a face of sighingah.

Helena seems to be chatting a lot with Sean's mother and seems to ignore Claire's whereabouts. Seeing Claire from earlier seemed to be silent, Sean's mother immediately asked her. "Claire, what's wrong? Are you sick?" ask Sean's mom.

"No Mother. I just feel tired and a little dizzy" Claire replied.

"Then go back to your room. You better take a break."

"But what about Mom?" Claire did feel the body was not fit, so she had been more silent.

"There's Helena accompanying mom here."

Claire thought for a while then nodded. "alright. Then I go back to the room first."

Claire then walked out of the ballroom. While outside the door, Claire accidentally sees someone she knows. "Sister, are you here too?" Claire seemed happy when she saw her personal bodyguard in front of her.

"Yeah. The big ladies and gentlemen asked me to represent them, because they had a sudden affair," Jack replied, "Then why are you here?"

"My mother-in-law brought me here. Uncle Jeremy turned out to be good friends with Sean's late father, too" explained Claire.

"Where is your husband?" jack asked, looking around.

"Sister, we better talk in my room. Not in here. I'm afraid someone's seen us."

Jack and Claire finally go to Claire's room to chat. "When are you going back to town S?" jack asked after he sat down on Claire's couch.

"We'll be home the day after." Claire then sat back down, "Sister, I'm hungry, please order me some food."

Against Jack, Claire could indeed be very spoiled. No one knows about Claire's nature other than the person closest to her.

"You haven't eaten yet?"

"Why? Are you sick?"

Claire nodded weakly. "Yeah, everything's fine." Claire then remembered something, "Sister, did you know Wild was in town?"

Jack was silent for a moment and then said, "Yes. He called me and invited me to meet at the hotel where he was staying. Have you met him too?"

"It."

Jack looked at Claire with a serious face. "Claire, Wild said he'd take you from Sean. He told me Sean was in Uncle Sam's country and not K's. He's there to meet a woman and not for work."

Claire's eyes immediately grew bigger after hearing that. "Wild deliberately investigated Sean to find his weakness" Jack continued.

"Uncle Sam's Country?" repeated Claire with a surprised face.

"Claire, what exactly happened to your household? Why would Sean lie to you and tell you he's out there on a job?"

Claire, not answering, but instead she hurriedly pulled the phone out of her bag and contacted someone. "Carl, help me investigate someone."

"Yeah. I'll send it in a message." Claire then disconnects her phone call and then types something on the screen of her phone and then falls silent.

"Claire, Wild couldn't possibly lie about something like that. You know for yourself how it is."

Claire was still silent and pensive. "Claire, I think your father deserves to know about this. I can't just keep quiet and keep this from your father."

Claire put her phone on the table and said, "Sister, please don't tell my dad. I'll solve this problem myself."

As Jack was about to speak, Claire's room bell rang. "It looks like your food has come. I'll open the door first."

Jack then stood up and opened the door and after the door opened, he looked surprised when he saw not room service coming but someone else.

"Auntie, look. What I said is true, right? Claire is having an affair with another man behind Sean" Helena said, looking at Jack's surprised face.

"Where's Claire?" ask Sean's mom to Jack.

"Sister, who?" Claire's screams came from inside the room.

Jack looked inside and saw that Claire had already walked towards the door. "Mother, Helena ...." Claire also looks surprised when she sees the whereabouts of her mother-in-law and Helena in front of her room.

"You're finally caught red-handed, too." Helena picks up the phone and takes a picture of Claire and Jack standing next to each other, "will tell Sean about your affair so he can quickly divorce you."
