Claire rang the doorbell of the room in front of her. After she leaves Sean's house, Claire contacts Jack, her personal bodyguard. Apparently, Jack was staying at the same hotel Claire stayed at last night. He even booked a room right in front of the room that last night was Claire and Sean.

"Please come in, Miss." Jack opened the door wide after seeing Claire who was in front of the door of his room.

The two of them walked towards the seat that was near the glass wall of the room. "Miss, what exactly happened?"

Last night, when Sean brought Claire, he secretly followed her from a distance. He also hears when Sean asks Nicko to book a room at the hotel. She follows Nicko and orders a room that she orders to keep an eye on Claire.

The next morning, from the door, he saw several people enter Claire's room and they even brought the hotel attendant to open the room.

The unpleasant feeling was immediately felt by Jack. She then contacted Claire's phone to ask what had happened, but there was no reply until noon Claire contacted her to meet.

"There's nothing. Book a plane ticket now, we'll be home today."

Claire accidentally refuses to tell Jack for fear that he will tell his father about last night's incident. She won't be able to cancel her marriage to Sean if her father finds out.

"Miss, what if your father doesn't agree with your decision?" When she met Claire yesterday at the bar, Claire had told Jack about the cancellation of her marriage to Sean.

"I'll explain to my father."

Claire leaned her body against the sofa with a tired face. "But Miss, we can't go back to city A. Your father forbade me to take you home."

Actually the reason why Jack went to City S, besides being called by Claire, the purpose came to inform him about the marriage of his former lover. When Claire finds out she's coming home, she goes straight to town S.

She was just afraid that if she didn't come, Claire would go straight back to City A without telling her and the Wild would likely find Claire later. After Claire's departure to the town of S, Wild tells people to search for Claire's whereabouts.

"Why?" asked Claire with a frown.

"Your father was afraid that Wild would cancel her marriage to Miss Gloria if she found you. He's been looking for your whereabouts all along."

Lucky Claire's father closed all the information about Claire so Wild could not find anything. Claire's father already knew about the matter with Wild.

Claire's father isn't angry with Wild for betraying her son. Instead his father is happy that Wild broke up with his son because thanks to the relationship, they ended, Claire wants to accept the arranged marriage she had arranged.

"Then how?" Claire said goodbye to Grandpa Sean. He also could not go back there.

"For a while we stayed at this hotel until Wild married Miss Gloria."

Claire thought for a moment before deciding. "alright. Book me a room."

Jack nodded. Just as he stood up, his phone rang. "Why don't you pick up?" claire asked when she saw Jack just silently looking at the screen of his phone that still reads.

"It's from your father."

"Thank you, but don't tell my dad that I'm with you right now."

Jack nodded then walked away from Claire after pressing the green button on her phone. A few minutes later he came back. "Miss, you can't go back to town A. Your father already knew that you canceled your match unilaterally. Your father said that if you keep canceling your match, he won't consider you his son and won't accept you anymore."

Claire looked dumbfounded to hear Jack's words. "How's that old man doing to me?"

Claire could have lived alone without her parents. His work was enough to make him able to live a luxurious life, even though he did not get the property from his parents. It's just how could her father cut off blood ties just because he didn't want to marry the man of his choice.

"Your father said he already knew what happened to you and Mr. Sean last night."

Claire was surprised once again. He had tried to hide it, but his father could still find out. "Actually, what happened to you and Mr. Sean, Miss?"

Before Claire answers Jack's question, her room bell rings.

"Do you have any guests?" claire asked, looking at Jack.

"No Miss." Jack put his phone in his pants pocket, "i'll open the door."

"Who?" No one knew he was in this hotel.

"He said Mr. Samuel's man."

Claire immediately rushed forward to find out who was looking for her. "Uncle Paul," Claire said with a surprised face.

"Sorry to interrupt, miss. The Great Lord wants to see you."

"What's wrong?" He felt there was nothing more to talk about with Sean's grandfather. She's already canceled her marriage to Sean. He also said goodbye this afternoon.

"The big man is in the hospital."

Claire's eyes grew bigger and her eyebrows shot up. Last time I met, Sean's grandfather was fine. How could he end up in the hospital in just a few hours after he left.

"Why can?"

"After talking to the young master, his blood pressure instantly rose and caused the great master to faint while in his room."

Claire took a long breath. "alright. Uncle wait a minute. I'll take my bag first."

Claure came back in and said goodbye to Jack. "Jack, I gotta go. We'll talk later. Don't book tickets yet."

Seeing Claire's panicked face, Jack became curious. "What's wrong Miss? Did something happen?"

"Sam's grandfather went to the hospital. I'll see him for a second. You just wait here."

"All right."

Arriving at the hospital, Paul immediately escorted Claire to the room of master Samuel and there was already Kate who looked after Mr. Sam. There was no sign of Sean being there. "Grandfather, what's going on?" Claire walks over to Mr. Sam's patient bed.

Grandpa Sean looked at Claire and smiled. "Have you come?"

"Yeah." Yeah."

Sean's grandfather looked at Sean's mother. "Kate, please leave us alone for a moment. I have something to talk to Claire about."

"alright. I'll wait outside." Kate walks out after seeing a nod from her in-laws.

Sean's grandfather pointed his hand at the empty chair on the right side of his bed. "Sit down."

Claire pulled the chair closer to Sam and sat down. "Claire, before you leave. There's something Grandpa wants to tell you. I hope that after hearing this, you can rethink your marriage" said Mr. Sam in a weak voice.

"What's Grandpa's problem?" ask Claire curious.

"It's a matter of a picture of a boy in grandpa's room. The kid you've been looking for all this time is Sean."

Claire's eyes were perfectly rounded. "But how can it? Grandpa said Sean never been to A's city so how could it be if that kid was Sean?"

"Sean has never been to A, but you have been here. You met in this town, not in A."

Claire looked dumbfounded. He was silent for a moment. "The reason why grandfather didn't tell you from the beginning is because Grandpa didn't want you to accept this match because he felt indebted to him. Your father also agreed to keep it a secret from you."

Calire felt his head turning. "Did Sean know about this?"

"No."

Sean's grandfather wakes up from his sleep helped by Claire. "Grandfather won't force you anymore. It's all up to you. Grandfather would only ask once more. Are you still gonna cancel your marriage to Sean after you know the truth?"
