Upon arriving home, they are all immediately greeted by Sean's mother. "Claire, are you home?" Sean's mother smiled gently as she approached her daughter-in-law. He already knew the problems that were going on between his son and his daughter-in-law.
"Yes, Mother." Claire smiled awkwardly at Sean's mother because she felt ashamed to have just left.
"Mother, let Claire rest first. We'll talk later" Sean said.
Sean's mother smiled as she nodded. "alright. You must be tired, rest."
Upon arriving in the room, Sean went straight into the bathroom and exited after five minutes later. "Band. I've prepared warm water for you to soak in."
Claire was stunned to hear Sean's words. "Why are you daydreaming?" Sean turned back to his wife when Claire had not left his place
"It's okay. I'm gonna take a shower."
The next night, after dinner, Claire goes straight back to her room, while Sean is busy in his study because of the many jobs she has to check. After 3 hours in the study, she finally returned to her room.
Upon entering the room, Sean approached Claire who was sitting leaning on the bed. "Claire, tomorrow I'll see Casandra."
Claire, who was focusing on her phone, immediately raised her head after hearing her husband's words. "For what?"
"I wanted to warn him one last time to stay away from me. I had to press him so he wouldn't bother you anymore."
Claire put the phone on her lap and said, "I want to come with you. I don't want you to meet him alone."
Hearing that, there was a sense of pleasure in Sean's heart. "I met him with Nicko. I'm not alone."
"There's something I want to talk to her about, too" Claire said.
Sean was doubtful. "Claire, there's Helena there later." Sean is only afraid that Helena and Casandra are looking for trouble with his wife when they meet.
"No problem. I still want to go with you."
Sean thought for a moment then said, "Alright. Now sleep. It's night." It's night."
Claire nodded then turned off the room lights and left the sleeping lights, after which lay down. Just about to close his eyes, a hand coiled around his stomach and pulled his body back. "Verin, ap...."
"Let it be this way" Sean whispered as he hugged Claire tightly from behind, "I just want to sleep while hugging you."
Claire finally let Sean hug her. To be honest she felt comfortable in her husband's arms. "I've noticed lately that your appetite is very good. You eat a lot. Your stomach is slightly swollen because of it," said Sean, gently rubbing Claire's stomach.
When Sean's hand touched his stomach, his body stiffened instantly for a few seconds, but felt comfortable afterwards. "Don't you like me eating a lot?"
"Like. I like everything related to you."
Claire was silent. Sean's gentle touch in his stomach made Claire feel sleepy and soon fell asleep.
******
Sean stared in wonder at his wife as he saw her makeup in front of the mirror. She looked at him closely from her seat on the sofa. "Where are you going?" Sean couldn't bear to ask his wife when he saw her extremely beautiful and attractive appearance.
"Certainly come with you." Claire turned to Sean for a moment and continued to apply herself.
Sean was still staring at his wife through the reflection of the mirror with an unhappy face. "Why are you dressing up so beautiful today? Who do you want to attract?"
Claire looked at her husband for a moment with a smile. "Interesting the attention of single men out there."
Upon hearing that, Sean's jaw instantly hardened and the look in his eyes turned cold. "Are you serious about what you say?"
Claire puts the lipstick she just put on the table and walks over to Sean. "I'm just kidding," Claire replied with a sweet smile.
"Not come with me."
"Why?" Claire looked astonishedly at her husband with a plain face.
"I won't be long" Sean said as he stood up.
"Don't you want to meet her alone?" accuse Claire.
"I won't hide anything from you" Sean said with a calm face.
"Then why can't I come?" claire asked as she looked at Sean with a probing look.
Sean was silent for a few seconds because he could not answer his wife's question. "Replace your clothes and makeup if you want to come with me."
"Why?"
"It's cold outside. Don't wear thin, open clothes like that."
Claire looked down and looked at the dress she was wearing. "Aren't we going to meet them at the restaurant? The room there must be warm. After all, there's nothing wrong with my shirt." Claire raised her head again and was about to walk towards the dresser, but her right arm was captured by Sean.
"You really want to get out wearing that shirt?"
Claire looked over and nodded confidently. "of course. Hurry up." Claire grabbed her bag and walked towards the door. "Why silence?" claire asked again as she looked towards Sean who was still in his place.
On the way, Sean seems busy with his phone, in contrast to Claire who seems to turn her face to the outer window staring at the streets they pass. On arrival in front of the restaurant, Sean calls Nicko to ask if he has arrived or not.
"Come down, they're already inside." When Sean was about to open the back car door, Claire stopped him. "Sean, wait a minute."
Sean pulled his hand from the car door and turned to face Claire. "What's wrong?"
Claire held onto her husband's shoulders and leaned Sean over to him and then pressed her lips against her husband's neck and wiped them firmly for a few seconds after which she kept her body away from her husband with a big smile.
"The color is very bright. I like to see it."
Sean was silent for a few seconds, after which he grabbed her by the neck, right where Claire had been wiping it off. "As a sign that you are mine. So that the two foxes in there realize that you already have one." Claire turned around and opened the door.
"Wait a minute!" Sean holds his wife's arm and pulls Claire towards him. "You should have done this in front of them to make it more convincing."
Suddenly Sean put their lips together and then softly melted his wife's lips while closing his eyes. The atmosphere became silent for a moment. Sean paid no attention to Kenz's whereabouts in the car nor did he care about his fast-paced heartbeat as their lips clashed against each other.
Sean restrained his wife's back head and pressed his lips deeper and gently but firmly wiped his lips and stopped when his wife's breath began to become irregular. For some reason, Sean always felt a strange sensation every time he kissed his wife's lips.
"Sorry for ruining your lipstick color. Next time, don't wear a light color because it's the same way you're gonna poke me to kiss your lips." Sean gently rubbed his wife's lips while smiling faintly when he saw his wife blushing in shame with a blushing cheek color.
"I should just do it inside," continued Sean again, "let's go down quickly, otherwise I'll continue it again and tell Kenz to turn his car back home."
"I'll go down."
Claire opens the car door and follows Sean into the restaurant holding his arm. Before reaching the VIP room, Claire asks Sean for permission to go to the toilet to tidy up her hair and lipsticks that have faded their color due to Sean's actions.
Sean finally came in. "Sean, have you come?" Casandra looks very happy when she sees Sean coming. Inside the VIP room, Nicko and Casandra were all alone, there was no Helena in there.
"Yes." Yeah." Sean sits lazily beside Nicko, while Casandra confronts Sean.
"Sean, what's wrong with your neck?" Nicko asked as if he did not know, but he knew clearly, what marks were on Sean's left neck. He could immediately see it because he was sitting to Sean's left.
Casandra, who was unaware, immediately stared at Sean's neck. "Oh this," said Sean, holding his neck, "my wife made it last night" replied Sean casually.
Hearing that, Casandra's face turned crimson. He gritted his teeth while clenching his hands silently. While Sean, there was no look of embarrassment or awkwardness when he talked about the red mark. Anyone who heard Sean say, must have guessed what the husband and wife had done last night.
"Your wife is great too. You are very good at choosing a wife" Nicko said with a smile.
"of course. My wife is great at everything."
"Sean, did your wife intentionally do that to make me jealous?" Casandra's eyes looked fiery.
Sean glanced at Casandra at a glance then poured the drink into his glass with his dingin face. "Casandra, it seems like I've been so gentle with you all along that you dared to ignore my warnings back then." Sean raised his head, after which flashed a sharp look at Casandra.
"What-what do you mean? I don't understand."
Sean wiggled his glass slowly and then tilted one corner of his lips. "I told you not to dare interfere with my life again. Our relationship was over when you betrayed me. I warned you not to get into trouble with my wife, but you dared to tell my wife that we still have a relationship, even you said you were pregnant with my son."
Casandra's face instantly turned deathly pale. His entire body stiffened instantly.
"How can you conceive my son, while I never touch you." Sean's voice became heavy and the look in his eyes was terrifying, even his body gave off an extremely cold aura.
"Sean, i-i ... I-I never said that. Claire must have lied to you," Casandra stammered.
Sean put the glass on the table angrily, causing a loud clanging sound. "Casandra, who do you want to lie to here? You should have known that if I wanted to investigate the truth, you wouldn't have escaped me."
Nicko just kept quiet while listening with a relaxed face. "Do you think my words are just the wind then? You want me to destroy your family first and you want to hear me?"
Casandra panicked at hearing that. "Sean, I admit I was wrong. Don't involve my family with this. I did it because I still love you. I heard you married her for an arranged marriage, so I thought she must not love you."
Sean's gaze grew sharper. "I told you, I love her so much. You should have known what that meant. I almost lost it. Your mistake this time I can't forgive. You'll be a normal girl from now on. Live comfortably, stop here. You must feel the consequences of your actions."
"What do you mean?" Along with the question posed by Casandra, his phone rang. At first it only sounds once and then dies, then it sounds again.
Sean turned his gaze towards Casandra's mobile phone which was on her desk. "Thank you, maybe it's an important phone" Sean said with his face flat.
Hearing her phone keep ringing, Casandra finally grabbed her phone and saw who was calling, after which picked it up. Sean with an indifferent face drank the wine in his glass until it ran out and displayed a mysterious smile.
Unlike Sean who is indifferent, Nicko is very curious about the person who called Casandra when he saw his face turned like an undead. The color of his face turned pale white as if his blood flow had stopped flowing.
"Who dares to do it?"
After the phone call ended, Casandra immediately checked something on her phone. His eyes looked wide and his body instantly went limp and along with that, his phone fell on the floor. "Sean, how can you take this to me? Why did you ruin my life just because of my little mistake?" ask Casandra a blank look.
Sean turned his body towards Casandra and said, "I told you my wife is everything to me. Don't try to challenge my patience. I warned you once. Never bother my wife, but you ignore me. You were trying to destroy my household, so I made you lose everything" Sean said with a cold face.
"After this, don't appear in front of me again. Live peacefully with Mattew in the suburbs of Richmond. It's the only way you can stay comfortable. I'm still kind to you because I'm still looking at Mattew, otherwise your life could suffer more than this."
Casandra's body instantly warped away with a pale face. "Sean, how can you give me a sentence this big, when you used to love me?"
Seriate...
