Officially Married

Seeing that Claire was silent, Sean was dissatisfied, then he said again, "After canceling the marriage with me, you intend to go back to your ex-lover, but after knowing your ex-lover will get married, after knowing that your ex-lover will get married, you're coming back to me again. Jack hung up after he finished talking to someone. He then turned around and approached Claire who was sitting on the sofa of the room that Jack had ordered. "What did my father say?" Claire immediately asked Jack after seeing him just sitting in front of her.

Jack puts his phone on the table before answering Claire's question. "Your father asked me to be here for a while. She's afraid you'll run away before your wedding day comes."

Claire clucked. "Dad still doesn't believe me. Only once did I say I wanted to go home. He was on guard at me." Claire threw her body onto the back of the sofa with an annoyed face.

"Your father was just afraid that you'd annul your marriage to Sean and then you ran off with Wild."

Claire stared lazily at Jack while playing her phone. "It turns out you can read my mind." A strange smile rose on Claire's pretty face.

"Miss, don't think no-no" said Jack with a tense face.

Claire glanced at Jack at a glance. "Don't you say Gloria set Wild up that night? So Wild is innocent, isn't he? Gloria's ruined my life, so I'm going to ruin her wedding, too" Claire said with a wicked smile.

"Miss, you don't go crazy. You really want to go back with Wild?"

"of course. He's still looking for me, isn't he? If I go home. Wild won't marry Gloria. It might be nice if we ran away together to a faraway country, where no one recognized us. We can live happily without being bothered by others."

"Claire....!" exclaim Jack.

"What, Brother?" Claire looks relaxed to meet Jack who began to raise his voice.

"Listen Claire, I'm not gonna let that happen. I don't agree you're back with Wild."

"Why? Didn't you support our relationship so much? Why are you against it now?"

While Claire and Wild are still in a relationship, no one agrees with their relationship. Only Jack supported him.

"Let her marry Gloria. Don't take anyone else's property, Claire. They're getting married."

Claire smiled at Jack. "Taking someone else's property?" repeat Claire, "Gloria took Wild from me, sister. He stabbed me in the back. Pretending to support me, but it turned out to be cornering me."

Jack sighed at Claire's stubbornness. "If you're separated from him now, that's a sign you're not a match, so don't act crazy. I'll tell your father that if you don't listen to me." Jack's face stiffened and there was no smile on his face.

Claire put the phone in her lap and looked at Jack. "Don't you say Wild is still looking for me? You think, with her family background, is it possible that she can't find me? It wasn't that hard for him, even though my father was trying to erase my tracks."

In city A, the Wild family was ranked first most beaked and respected. Even Claire's family was beneath them.

Seeing Jack's face that looked very serious made Claire pull both corners of her lips. "Yes, I understand, brother. I'm not that bad at Gloria, but if Wild finds me here before I get married to Sean. What can I do, I'll go back to him."

"Claire, I am your personal bodyguard, but I am also your friend. I won't let you act stupid." Looks like Claire managed to provoke Jack's anger.

Jack looked at Claire without saying anything. "You don't believe me?" clallire asked when she realized Jack was still suspicious.

The anticipated day has finally arrived, the day Claire and Sean officially become husband and wife. There are no parties or parties at all. After getting the marriage certificate at the civil registry office, Sean, Claire, Paul, Mr. Sam, Kate, and Kenz return to the main residence.

On the way home, only Master Sam whose smile never faded from his face. It is very different with his daughter-in-law and grandchildren. There was no smile on their faces. Sean's mother didn't even congratulate him on his son and Claire's marriage.

"Sean, are you going to take Claire to your apartment?" asked Master Sam after they all gathered in the living room.

"Sean, why didn't you stay here for a few days?" ask Sean's mom.

Mr. Sam sighed. He knew that his granddaughter still could not accept Claire as his wife. "Claire, I hope you can be more patient with Sean."

Sean's mother was not happy to hear the words of her father-in-law. "Dad, what's wrong with Sean? Why do you always corner him? It was only natural that he was acting indifferent. Married to a woman he does not love, do you think he will be happy and can always smile?"

Claire is not offended by Sean's mother. She had gotten used to getting a cynical attitude from Wild's mother when she was in a relationship with Wild first, so she wasn't too surprised.
