Claire was bearded with a cynical smile. "Your function turned out to be that, but it's a pity Miss Helena, you can only be her girlfriend and can't be her wife."

The smile on Helena's face instantly disappeared hearing that.

"Sean, we better start the show now." Felix invites Sean to get out of there before the atmosphere heats up.

Sean nodded. Before leaving, he stared at Claire for a moment without saying a word, then turned around following Felix along with Helena. A triumphant smile re-emerged on Helena's red lips just before stepping up.

Claire sneered. "Ciii. Shameless woman, she proudly went with my husband. Just take Sean if you want, I don't care either. You think the man in this world is just him."

With an annoyed face, Claire stepped towards the table serving drinks. Although he had promised Sean not to pet, but he changed his mind. Sean couldn't manage it if he just behaved like that.

Claire then grabbed a glass filled with white drinks and sat in one of the chairs nearby as Sean was giving a speech and a greeting in front of everyone.

"When speaking in public only, his face remained flat and cold. Was he not born in Antarctica, so his face and attitude were always cold?"

Claire thought back. "It looks like Helena's an exception. He always speaks warmly and gently with her." Thinking about it made Claire even more upset.

He regretted coming to the show. "I shouldn't have come here." Claire turned her gaze to the side as she was annoyed to see Sean's face.

Finished giving a word of welcome, Sean approached Felix and talked to him along with Helena. Claire chose to be indifferent and went back to enjoying the drink that was in her right hand.

As he was about to finish the rest of his drink, someone caught his wrist. "Don't I tell you you can't drink anymore?" Sean held Claire's hand and grabbed the glass and drank it out.

"What are you here for? Go, I don't want to be disturbed by you." Claire ignores Sean's anger at her.

"Claire, don't challenge my patience" Sean said with a sharp glare.

Claire ignores Sean and stands up to leave her husband. When Sean's about to catch up with Claire, someone's preventing him. "Sean, some reporter wants to interview you. They've been waiting. Come on." Without waiting for Sean's approval, Helena pulls Sean's hand away from there.

Claire who saw that, only smiled obliquely. He then sat down in one of the seats and waited for what drama Helena would be performing.

Sean and Helena are surrounded by people from various media. "Sir, Sean, your company is back on top. I heard you're going to cooperate with a company that comes from abroad, is that true?" ask one of the reporters standing in front of Sean.

"true."

"This time you come together with Miss Helena again, does this mean there is a special relationship between the two of you?"

"We were close from childhood" Sean replied.

"There's news that says you're married, is that true?"

From a distance Claire looked towards Sean. He wanted to know what the answer was to the question. "That's not true" Helena quickly denied

Claire immediately smiled here upon hearing Helena's reply. Even Helena is already Sean's current spokesperson, it seems likely that Helena will soon take her place.

"So you're not married?"

The question was directed at Sean. Before answering Sean raised his head and accidentally looked at Claire. His tongue became a mute. "Not yet."

Claire immediately raised her eyelids quickly. "alright. Since you've said so, then don't blame me later if your words backfire on you" Claire murmured inwardly.

"You already have it all, but there's still one lacking that companion. Miss Sean's position is still empty, is there already a woman who will occupy that position?"

Sean looked at Claire and said, "It's over."

The atmosphere became boisterous after hearing Sean's reply. "Who is that woman?"

Sean's face changed. "I can't tell you because I want to keep his privacy."

"That's enough for the interview. This is an office event, you should ask, ask about our company at the end of the event." Felix stopped the interview in time.

Felix then takes Sean to a special VIP guest room. He knows that Sean doesn't like to have his personal life corrupted by others.

"Felix, didn't I tell you that I didn't want any media to come here?" Sean sat down with an annoyed face after being in the VIP special room.

"It wasn't me who called the media. I don't know who invited them here either."

Sean then turned to look at Helena. "Did you bring them here?"

Helena immediately shook her head. "It's not Sean. I thought you were the one who called them here, so therefore, I invited you to an interview when they asked me to call you."

Sean turned to his cousin. "Felix, you better get them out of here."

While in the interview, Sean tried to contain his frustration and tried to answer well, even though in his heart he felt annoyed.

Felix finally told the media to get out of the building. After that, he approached Claire who was sitting alone. "Did you fight with Sean?" Felix asked after he sat next to Claire who was seen enjoying a drink in his hand.

"No. We are fine," Claire replied indifferently.

"Claire, Sean will never love you. There was already a woman he loved. I'm doing this because I care about you. You can judge for yourself how Sean behaved toward you. He hid your marriage from the public because he didn't consider you his wife. It only takes time until he divorces you, he survives only because of grandpa."

Claire looked for a moment. "I knew. I can't end this marriage, Felix, unless Sean wants it. All decisions are in his hands. There's a reason why I'm still sticking with this marriage."

Felix exhaled his smooth breath. "He's not the Sean you met when you were a kid. He's changed. Do you know why Grandpa suddenly betrothed you to Sean, when I agreed to our matchmaking?"

A few years ago, Sam's grandfather did tell Felix that he would be betrothed to someone. At that time, Grandpa Sam had shown a photo of Claire as a teenager. Hence, the first time she saw Claire sitting at the stop, she felt familiar with her face.

"What's the reason?"

"Because Grandpa's back is often sickly and Sean doesn't know it because grandfather purposely hid from him. Sean is the only successor of the Louris family, and his grandfather wants to make sure Sean gets married first and has children before he dies. Grandpa doesn't like Helena and Sean doesn't want to marry another woman either. Grandpa hasn't found the right woman to be Sean's wife. You were the only woman Grandpa liked at the time. Hence, her grandfather betrothed you to Sean and not to me. If you don't stop now, then you'll be tied to Sean forever."

Claire looked back. Without them realizing there was a pair of eyes that had been watching the two of them. Arrive where the show will be finished. The event closed with a dance. Some people were seen entering the dance floor when the music began to play.

Claire looked towards the dance floor and her gaze was fixed on one of the couples who was being highlighted by the lights. " Felix, do you want to dance with me?" Claire stood up and smiled meaningfully at Felix.

"All right."

Felix grabs Claire's hand and takes her to the dance floor. Sean and Helena were dancing there. As Felix and Claire enter the dance floor, Sean glances at the two of them. With an indifferent face, Claire held onto Felix's shoulder with her left hand, while her right hand was held together with Felix's palm.

Their bodies both began to swing to the right and to the left according to the rhythm of the music. Sean's face turned cold when he saw Felix close his body to Claire by holding her waist.

"Sean, what are you looking at?" Helena felt annoyed when she saw Sean from now on and continued to look the other way and not focus on him.

"Nothing."

Arrive when the movement is twisted on the last round. Claire twisted gracefully and it made the one in the room stare in admiration at Claire. Some people look fascinated when they see Claire's life when dancing.

When it comes to changing partners, Claire spins around and it turns out that Sean caught her body. Sean wrapped his hands around Claire's waist possessively and tightened the bodies of the two of them so that there was no distance between them.

"How dare you dance with Felix in front of me. Sticking with him is so messy. Claire, do you want to make me angry on purpose?" Sean's cold voice made Claire shudder in horror.
