Brother and Sister Quarrels
Jaden seemed silent for a moment. He looked at V from top to bottom watching him closely. Jaden seemed to have seen V's face.
"Who was your name?"
"I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Vero, but I'm commonly called V."
"I'm Jaden Luther Denna's father." They shake hands with each other.
"Jaden Luther?" V seems to have heard that name. He looked at Denna.
"I'm happy to meet Om."
"Denna I'll be waiting for you in the car. Today I'll take you home."
"I'm so glad I got picked up by dad." Denna hugged her father.
Denna and V permit Jaden to return to their room. "Denna!" V shouted to Denna and ran to Denna who was about to enter her room.
"What's V?"
"You and my brother are in a relationship, right?"
Denna's face immediately looked surprised. "You mean?"
"My brother's your bodyguard, right? He worked for your father? Why didn't you admit it when you met at my house?"
"V, about me and Dimas the relationship is just Young Miss and her bodyguard, nothing else."
"You love each other, don't you?"
"Love? There is no love between us, we only admire. Your sister has someone she loves very much, Mitha. Do you want to talk about all this?"
"I just want to know, Denna. I don't want to compete with my own brother. Our brotherhood is far more important than anything."
"There is no competition you mean V. I'm not something you can fight over either."
"Denna, I love you sincerely." V's hand slowly held Denna's hand gently.
"V, don't be like this. Remember, we're in a hospital environment."
"I'm sorry, Denna. I just want you to know the sincerity of my love for you." V releases Denna's hand and she walks away from there.
Denna stared at V's back until the man disappeared from her sight.
"You're a nice, fun guy. You also deserve to be loved, but I don't know if I can accept you and forget your brother's memories?" Denna breathed slowly.
The days passed with feelings that were still dabbling undisturbed. Denna tries to open her heart to V, even V has met the Denna family. Grandma who knows who the man Denna really loves hopes Denna does not play with the feelings of V who looks sincere to like Denna.
Denna also said that V is actually Dimas' adoptive brother. Jaden did not expect that his daughter could be close to Dimas' adoptive sister, whom they knew by accident.
In his place, Dimas is now a martial arts coach for the new bodyguards, he seems to enjoy his new job, although he is still reminded of the figure of Denna.
"Hi, baby." Mitha immediately hugged Dimas who at that time had just briefed the new bodyguards.
"Mitha, take care of your attitude" said Dimas lirih, but stared intently at Mitha.
"Why indeed? I'm, right, your lover?"
"We're not lovers, Mitha. We're just good friends" Dimas emphasized his words.
"If we are good friends. Why are you so attentive to me? Why do you want to accompany me to recover from my depression."
"Because you're my friend, and I don't want anything to happen to my friend."
"lik! You still love me, the proof is that you're willing to leave Denna for me."
"What do you mean?"
Dimas didn't answer he walked away from there. "You'll only be mine, Dimas. I'll make sure of that." Mitha chased Dimas towards his bike.
Today is Diaz's wedding day. Diaz is married to a garden party. Diaz looks beautiful with a dress model sabrina and simple unravel hair.
"Congratulations, Diaz. You're so pretty."
"Thank you, Denna. I'm glad you could be here with your family and V. He's very handsome, Denna." Diaz's eyes pointed towards V who was walking towards them with the Denna family.
"What the hell, Diaz! You've got a husband still shining his eyes look at another man."
"Just kid! I'm trying to open your eyes, if in front of you there's a man who fits you perfectly."
"Diaz, I'm still in this relationship with V. I wish I could forget Dimas."
"Complicated love triangle. How can you get involved in the love of a sister like this?"
Denna shrugged her shoulders indifferently. Not long after Denna and V arrived near Diaz, they hugged each other and congratulated.
The party that day was very lively until at last Denna who was standing in the corner of the park was approached by V. V brought soft drinks for Denna.
"What are you thinking?"
"I was just imagining how my wedding would be? And I didn't expect to lose my best friend." Denna looked at Diaz.
"What do you want for a wedding?" V's hand once again held Denna's hand gently.
"I don't know, obviously I just want a simple and sacred marriage."
"I used to hope so too. I want to marry someone I love so much. A simple and sacred marriage because I really want to feel something wonderful on a once in a lifetime day." Denna threw her smile at V.
"Darling, am I gonna feel what it is to take my daughter off on the wedding day?" jaden asked his wife.
"Of course, you don't want to see your daughter get married?" Nara and Jaden looked at each other.
"I don't know if I won't cry when that day comes?" Jaden looked at his daughter who was now hand-held by V.
Nara rubbed gently on her husband's shoulder. "You need to be ready, honey. After all you're driving your daughter to happiness is not a bad thing."
"Huf! Why Denna is growing so fast. It feels like he wants to go back to being a kid and play with me." Nara smiled at what her husband said.
The party was over and they drove V back to his house. Denna saw that there was a motorbike of the man who was still enthroned in her heart in front of the house.
"It looks like my brother came home today."
"Send our regards to Dimas."
"Yes, Aunt Nara." V looked towards Denna who gave his smile. "Thank you all."
V came into the house and saw his brother sitting down enjoying his warm drink. "So why are you back here? What is Brother Dimas looking for?"
Dimas was a bit surprised by his sister's words. "This is our house V. I came here because I miss my sister."
"Sir Dimas can call me. I know, Brother came here because he wanted to get close to Denna, right? Sis, Denna is mine and I won't let anyone else even my own brother take it."
"I won't take away my sister's happiness at all."
"Then don't come back. Big brother can stay away from Denna and my life when necessary!"
"VS? Why are you saying that? Don't you trust me?"
"I would believe if Big Brother married Mitha. I'd believe it if you really wanted me to be happy with Denna."
