They all finished breakfast and left the dinner table a mess and with a lot of dirty dishes.
Soraya's aunt went to take her two children to school, after which she went to work in a garment factory, and her uncle Benu was out of nowhere, after he was fired from his job he was more often seen out of the house, but had no idea what was being done out there.
At home, Nara could only sigh slowly at what was before her now. Almost every day he goes through days like this.
"That's why mom and dad didn't have any more brothers, but it's good, not like Uncle Benu. Uncle was kind enough to raise me even though I ended up being treated like a maid by them." Nara sat up with her chin propped up after she finished cleaning everything up.
"Nara...!" I heard a scream from someone outside.
Nara immediately got out of her place, picked up the school bag and she started to walk lazily towards the exit.
Nara's eyes glared at the appearance of someone who had just called her. Nara blinked her eyes a few times, even she rubbed her eyes afraid that she was dreaming."
"Paijo's? This you?" nara asked with a surprised face.
At once the man sitting on his expensive bicycle looked limp. "Why still call me Paijo, anyway?" the guy rolled his eyes.
"Byeah! What is your name? You, right, I used to call Paijo." Nara walked over to the guy.
"Today I've changed my appearance, Ra, you still have the heart to call me Paijo? Lowering the market only. Nara chuckled happily.
"Yes, I just call Panjul," he said casually as he raised both his legs on the leg support iron and both his hands held on to the shoulders of the man who did not want to be called Paijo.
"Well? Even the Panjul." The guy who was pedaling his bike seemed to shake his head.
"It's so complicated that you're like aunty-tante-rempong."
"Yeah! Still mending kayak aunty rempong, than kayak your aunt. Cerems...!"
Nara now even laughed with her release. "You're the best friend I've ever had, Jo."
Suddenly the bike stopped on the side of the road. A confused Nara patted the shoulder of the guy in front of her.
"You why? Persambet? Why call me by my real name? Or are you unconscious again?" The guy who was piggybacking on Nara looked back."
"Your name is Paijo, it's appropriate that I call you Jo."
"Whatever you are!" Paijo had given up apparently against Nara.
"Yes, Jovanno Pramudika Baskara. Already, are you satisfied, Paijo?" Nara emphasized her words.
Replace now Paijo or Panjul or Jovanno, directly back pedaling his bike back.
Paijo is a friend who always takes Nara with his antique bike, which is a legacy ontel bike from his grandfather. Paijo lived alone with her grandmother because her parents were separated. Paijo does not want to go with one of his parents, he chose to live with his grandmother in a simple house owned by his late grandfather.
Nara and Paijo have been friends since they sat on the bench of Taman Kanak-Kanak until they were third grade SMU. Their home is not far away either. Nara knows all about Paijo's life. Paijo knows about Nara's life. Nara felt very grateful to know Paijo because he always comforted her when she was sad.
"Jo, why did you change your appearance like this?" Nara scanned Paijo from top to bottom.
"What's? Rachel's? Are you the same as him?" sontak Nara who from earlier still sangkring on the bike directly down.
"Not yet, Nara.. is still a business, but you just pray that later at prom night I can come with him, not jomlo," he said while raising his eyebrows.
"Huf! I thought you were the same magic queen as my cousin."
"Don't equate my Rachel with your cousin who sees us like we see germs. Are we germs or viruses that carry disease?"
Nara walks lazily into her class and is followed by Paijo behind her. Jo actually had a different class than Nara. Jo's an IPA boy and Nara's an IPS kid, but they've been like Romie and Juli's just the words of all her schoolmates.
"Nara, what's wrong with you? I see you're like a lazy person and eating less?"
"Not just eat less, even earlier I ate a bit more because I need extra energy to deal with this increasingly cruel life."
"Again...! Your language is poetic so. From the first life was cruel Nara, only we should not give up to continue to face it."
"You're still good, Jo. You still have both of your parents even if they separated, at least you will not be afraid of the lack of fees to continue school. Lah me?"
"What are you really doing?"
"So my uncle said it didn't seem like I was going to be able to finish my school because they couldn't afford my school. You know for yourself that my tuition hasn't been paid in months." Nara lowered her head against the table of her stool.
"You're serious your uncle said that?"
"Yes, I was told to work if I wanted to stay in school. Our school is only a few months away. I asked to continue school until it was finished and later I will work to help them if they graduate."
"Then? What's your uncle's answer?" Paijo looked down under the table at Nara's face hiding under the table.
"My uncle doesn't seem to care. I'm really confused by all this, Jo!" Whining upset.
Paijo positioned himself sitting properly right next to Nara. He seemed to be thinking about something. Until the entrance bell rang Paijo permission to go to his own class which was on the lower floor just below the third class IPS 1, namely Nara class.
"Why see me that way? A crush?" pompous Paijo asked as he passed Mona who saw him with mocking eyes.
"Your dreams? There far away." Mona flicked her hand as if she was driving away the cat.
"Indeed I want to go, I could be allergic to seeing you, Grandma Magic." Paijo emphasized his words and walked leisurely away from there.
"Bad! How dare her mouth call me witch," said Mona angrily with her face bent.
"What's wrong with you, Mon?" ask the voice that just came into the class and pat Mona on the shoulder.
"That's Paijo. A poor man who dares to call me a witch!" Mona stood in front of the door.
The girl next to him even suppressed the laughter by covering her mouth with both hands.
