Mr. Mafia and His Little Maid

Mr. Mafia and His Little Maid
True Protector

From a distance two pairs of eyes were watching Denna and Dimas who were walking hand in hand.

It turned out that not only were the two people watching Denna and Dimas, but the other few disciples there were also watching and even talking to each other in whispers.

"Dimas, why are you holding me?" Denna spoke softly.

"Miss says herself won't until Miss's friends here know I'm a bodyguard, so we just as usual claim to be lovers."

"What you really said. I can't say you're my brother or my cousin. They don't believe."

"Denna!" yell someone in the back. Denna and Dimas turned their heads towards the voice.

"Diaz!" Denna hugged her best friend. "You're so pretty tonight."

"As you say, Denna. I'm an invisible diamond." Diaz immediately chuckled.

"That's right, and it's Mas Rio who got a diamond as pretty as you."

Diaz blushed in embarrassment. Now Diaz's gaze shifted to the figure of Dimas standing beside Denna.

Dimas gave a smile and a slight nod to Diaz. "Denna, who is he?"

"Did you know, this is Dimas. He's my bodyguard" whispered Denna to Diaz's ear.

"What's? She-!"

"Slow down your voice. I don't want anyone else to know I'm here being escorted by a bodyguard. I introduced Dimas as my lover. You can keep secrets, right?"

"Love?" tempt Diaz.

"Don't laugh at me, Diaz, or I'll just go home."

Diaz hugged her best friend.

In a corner of the place not far from where Dimas and Denna. Evans, who had been discharged from the hospital, looked upset and angry at Denna.

"The girl will take vengeance from me."

"It seems you have to be patient first to take revenge until your wounds heal. Just look at yourself who's still got the bandage stuck." Mandy chuckles softly.

Evans finished his drink quickly and withholding annoyance Evans gripped his drinking glass.

"That man must have helped Denna."

"You sure? Didn't you tell me you didn't see that guy's face?"

Evans looked at Mandy. "He must be that guy. Is she Denna's boyfriend? As far as I know Denna doesn't have a lover, even the thought of having a boyfriend."

"He only reasoned because he didn't like you. Evans, I'm wondering, why didn't Denna report what you did to her?" Both of Mandy's eyebrows wrinkled.

"Maybe he doesn't have enough evidence and again Denna must have thought twice if he wanted to make this matter known to many. I also have a reason that can make Denna lose in this. I just said we both love each other and have grown up and I've prepared another." Evans grins.

The show finally began and the host took to the stage.

"Miss, do you want me to get you a drink?"

"Dimas, don't call me Miss here. You just call me Denna."

"All right! Denna, do you want a drink?"

"I'd like to, please just get orange juice, Dimas."

Dimas walked to the drink stand and found orange juice for Denna.

Evans walked closer to Denna. "Hi, Denna," she said.

Denna looked annoyed and furious at the figure of the man who had almost desecrated her.

"Go from before me. I don't want to know, even talk to you."

"Let go of my lover's hand" Dimas' big voice was right behind Evans.

Denna shook Evans' hand and walked closer to Dimas. "No-oh. You okay, Denna?"

"I'm fine. Dimas, we better get out of here." Denna held the hand of the man she was invited to pretend to be her lover.

"Denna, what do you expect from your lover? He's definitely not richer than me?"

Denna shook her head in disbelief at Evans' words. "Even if he is not as rich as you, he has a richer heart than you. That's why I don't like you even though you have everything."

"You'll one day find me and want me, Denna."

"Don't talk about my girlfriend. That night I still forgive you for not taking your life, but next time if you still have bad intentions for my lover. I'll make sure it's not your place." Dimas stared intently at Evans.

"Dimas, let's just get out of here. I want to puke for a long time close to this jerk guy." Denna pulls Dimas' hand and takes him away from Evans.

Denna took Dimas out to a small garden near the party room.

Denna noticed Dimas's face still holding back anger.

"You're okay, aren't you Dimas?"

Dimas did not reply, he just tried to take a deep breath to calm down.

"I'm better now, Miss."

"Dimas, can I ask you something?"

"Of course, what do you want to ask?"

"Have you ever killed anyone before?"

Dimas furrowed his brows hearing what Denna asked.

"I've beaten someone with a coma. That's it," Dimas replied briefly.

"What's? Until coma?" Denna until gawking. "He was wrong what was he?

"Slaying his mother on the street just because her mother mint please help her with her bag. The brash kid dared to do it because he felt his mother was interrupting him while he was talking to his girlfriend over the phone."

"It's too far. Then, how is he doing now?"

"He lost some memory, but his attitude suddenly changed for the better."

"Thank God he didn't die." Denna breathed slowly.

"But this time I want to be able to finish off someone very jerk!" Dimas's eyes turned to the room where he saw Evans talking to Mandy.

"Don't say that, Dimas. It's not good even if your boss tells you to." Denna held Dimas' hand.

Dimas nodded slowly. The two of them had been there for a long time to calm themselves down.

"We'd better get into the show's main hall." Denna moved on and was followed by Dimas.

"Is Miss better? Or we'll just go home."

"It's not over yet, Dimas. Let's enjoy this show until it's over. You don't worry because I'm okay." Denna slowly pulled Dimas's arm and they entered the main room.

There Denna meets her classmates and talks to each other. Dimas looked from a distance did not let go of his eyes watching Denna.

Denna seemed to talk while occasionally joking with her friends. "Denna, you said you didn't want to think about having a lover, but came here all of a sudden with your handsome lover."

Denna smilingly looked at Dimas who was standing with a glass of cold drink in his hand.

"Denna, we'll be at the best couple's selection show while dancing. You have to go" Diaz said.

"No way, Diaz. Dimas won't be dancing, will I not be able to dance."
