Is Nara my wife?
The man was shocked to hear what Jaden said. He seemed to believe hearing the opportunity given by Jaden.
"Mister Carlos told me to."
"What?" Jaden was rather surprised to hear that his own father had done this. Why did her father care for her so much? What harm? Jaden asked in his heart.
"Don't you lie?" snapped Jaden.
"I'm not lying to you. Mr. Carlos told me to do it. Make it look like I'm your enemy."
"Why did my father do that? He's been believing in me and supporting me?"
"He's a grudge against you, but I don't know what kind of grudge you are."
"Then now you call him and tell him if you manage to get what he wants."
"What do you mean?"
"I'll give you my father's place if he wants it. Now call him."
"Are you serious?"
"Don't say much. Quickly call him."
The man took his cell phone and contacted Jaden's adoptive father. "Hello, what's wrong?"
"Sir, that place I got."
"Good then."
"Master, can I ask you something?"
"What's wrong?"
"Why would you want to take that place? Doesn't it belong to your son?"
"He's not my son, he's my adopted son, and I don't care about him."
"What's wrong with him, sir?"
"You don't need to know. Just do your job until it's done." Carlos hung up.
Jaden seemed speechless to hear the conversation between the man and his father. Jaden was a bit confused why was his father acting like that?
"Now you can go and my bodyguards will escort you safely as I promise."
Jaden returned to his room and he saw Nara sleeping on her bed. He was once again stunned to see Nara's face that looked so pure and innocent.
"Is she really my wife? Why can I marry her? What's special about him?" Jaden has his own dialogue.
Jaden lets Nara fall asleep and she goes inside the bathroom to take a shower cleaning herself.
A few minutes later, Jaden came out of the bathroom using a towel wrapped around her waist. He brought a towel to dry his wet hair.
"Ouch!" Nara who had just blinked both eyes was shocked when her face was hit by a towel throw by Jaden.
"Awake? Is your sleep well?"
"You just had a shower? I'll get you some clothes." Nara moved from her place and placed the towel on the cantolan near the bathroom. Jaden stood still looking at what Nara was doing.
Nara opens her walk in closet and searches for clothes for Jaden. "You're off work, aren't you, today?"
"Hem!" Jaden answered only with deheman.
Nara looks for Jaden's casual clothes in the closet that Nara already knows the place to be. The man who had been watching Nara looked furrowed his brows in wonder to see Nara who knew where Jaden's clothes were used for at home.
"Wear this alone, you must look handsome." Nara smiled.
"Put that shirt on to me."
"What?" Nara was a little surprised.
"Why are you surprised?"
"Don't you say you're my wife? If you were my wife, you would do that a lot."
Nara was silent for a moment in her place. He does it often, but now Jaden is losing his memory or he just lied to Nara?
"Do you remember me? Remember about our relationship?"
"Ck! I thought you were just a liar." Jaden walks over to Nara and takes the shirt from Nara's hand. "Basic of liars and seductive women. You think you can lie to me by saying you're my wife. I've never been married and close to a woman anywhere."
Nara realizes that Jaden is still missing his memory. He chased after Jaden who went inside the walk in closet to change clothes.
"I am your wife and I will prove it." Nara takes Jaden's shirt holding a towel that covers the bottom of Jaden.
"What do you want?" Jaden's hand held Nara's hand to open the towel she was wearing.
"You said, if I were your wife, I would not hesitate to change your clothes because I have done so many times and would not be ashamed to see it."
"Only a seductress who does not hesitate to do that and you are one of them. I thought you were a good woman who kept her honor, but you were a good seductress."
Nara took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "Why do you always think I'm a seductress? I'm not like that."
"Because I see it like that. What do you really want from me? Is it because I'm handsome, rich? Isn't your boss rich and handsome enough? Women are never satisfied." Jaden still imagined his heartache on Mauren.
"I don't want anything from you. I just want you to remember me. Remembering everything!" Nara seemed to say with emotion.
"If you're my wife, why weren't you next to me when I realized?"
"I was forced to leave so that you wouldn't be punished severely in prison for premeditated murder."
"Jail? You're so funny. No prison can hold me. I'm Jaden Luther, and everything I do goes well."
"I know, but when the charges came out, you couldn't run because the evidence and the witnesses were pointing at you. By following the threat the perpetrator can set you free, and I do."
"Don't you try to make up a story, Nara?"
"I'm not making up. Even I was threatened to kill my husband in front of my eyes if I was close to you."
"Why are you approaching me now? Are you not afraid I'll be killed."
"Because they know that you've lost your memory. I've also secluded myself here."
Jaden seemed silent for a moment. "I'm gonna call grandma and ask you about this."
"of course. I'm not afraid because I'm doing the right thing."
Jaden contacted his grandmother who was in the room.
"Mother."
"Darling, is your business done? Tumben did you call Grandma?"
"Grandma, there's something I want to do with Grandma."
"Ask? Ask what? Why does it sound so serious?"
"Miss, am I really married to a woman named Nara?

Grandma looked shocked at Jaden's question. "Darling, why are you asking me that?"
"Grandma just answer my question?"
Miranti across the phone looked confused. Where did Jaden know about Nara? Did Jaden meet Nara? Now Miranti is worried about Jaden's situation.
"Did you meet a woman named Nara? What the hell did he say? Jaden, are you okay?"
"I met someone who asked me about my wife Nara. Of course I'm confused. Who's Nara?" Jaden is forced to lie to his grandmother so that his grandmother does not know if he is with a woman who claims to be his wife.
"Jaden, you better go home and don't listen to what others say."
