Grandma and Leo were there until the hour hand almost showed the number eleven the night.
"Leo, let's just go home on foot, yeah?"
"Serious grandma? Is Grandma not tired?"
"No, grandma is very healthy, can even run after grandma's great-granddaughter if later grandma's great-granddaughter is born."
"Leo, trust Grandma. Yes, then we go home and the driver will follow us from behind slowly. Who knows, Grandma's gonna get tired and change her mind about getting in the car."
"Not going to." The middle-aged woman's hand that did not look at all had wrinkles was holding Leo's hand.
That night they were like grandmothers and grandchildren enjoying the beautiful night.
Looks like a smile does not disappear from the lips of the old woman who still looks beautiful and healthy.
"Leo, grandma wants to buy some bread at that cake shop. Grandma once bought Jaden a cake there and it tastes very good at an economical price."
"Well, we'll just go there."
Leo took Granny Miranti and they crossed the road which happened to be not too crowded that night.
When I entered the cake shop. Miranti's grandmother saw someone she knew coming out of the restaurant right next to the cake shop that Miranti's grandmother was going to enter.
A few seconds later there was a very loud sound, like something very loud hitting an object, and soon there was a hysterical cry of someone.
Leo and Grandma looked back and were surprised to see someone covered in blood on the street right in front of their eyes.
"Sir, there's a hit-and-run victim."
Grandma seemed to remember the color of the clothes worn by the hit-and-run victim.
"Leo, it's not-."
Leo immediately told Grandma to wait there and Leo ran closer to the hit-and-run victim. He wanted to make sure that the hit-and-run victim was not the one he and grandma had seen.
A few minutes later the sound of car sirens arrived there, and began many people who approached want to know the state of the victim.
Leo fell silent and shook his head slowly.
"What do you mean by shaking your head like that, Leo?"
"He's dead, Grandma."
The deg!
Instantly the middle-aged woman's hand held onto her chest which suddenly hurt.
"Grandma, is Grandma okay?" Leo looked worried about Grandma Miranti's state.
"I'm good, Leo. Leo, can you take me to the hospital where she was taken."
"Come on, Grandma, we're going there."
The two of them soon followed to the hospital where the hit-and-run victim was taken.
The atmosphere of the hospital when the new grandmother arrived seemed to be heard the sound of a woman's hysterical cry. He seemed completely devastated to hear the death of his son whom he loved dearly.
"I want Mona back, Dad! He's getting married in a minute. Why would he go like this?" The woman screamed with great emotion as she batted her husband's chest which also shed tears lamenting the departure of her first child.
It turns out that the hit-and-run victim was Mona's cousin from Nara.
"Mr Benu, I'm sorry for your daughter's passing. May you and your family be given the strength to accept all of this."
"Mrs Mirant, why is the madam here?"
"I was on the road where it happened. I met Mona who had just come out of a restaurant, but I hadn't had a chance to greet her, all of a sudden it happened so quickly."
"Why should Mona accept all this, Madam Miranti. She was going to marry a rich man who would make her life happy, but now all that would never happen." Soraya seemed to cry until her breathing faltered.
"We don't know the fate that befalls us. We as humans can only accept everything that has been outlined, Soraya."
