Mr. Mafia and His Little Maid
In Rain Time Part 1
Not long after a car stopped in front of Denna, and Denna knew who was in the car.
"Miss, why is Miss walking? It wasn't that Miss sent me a message if Miss came home with Miss Diaz."
"Why are you here? I can go home by myself." Denna kept going.
Dimas who felt Nonanya was angry with him chased after Denna. "Why did you choose to go home alone?" Dimas right cut into Denna street.
Denna just stared at him flatly. "I want to walk alone. You can just go home."
Denna walks past Dimas, but before Denna goes a long way. Dimas' hand quickly caught Denna's hand.
"I regret having been rude to Miss Denna, but have no regrets about the kiss."
Denna was silent for a moment. "I was also wrong to think of it as something special, but it should not be thought of." Denna releases Dimas' hand. Dimas was still glued to his place.
"Miss, we're going home now."
"You just go home. I want to be alone."
"But the sky is getting cloudy and it looks like it's going to rain."
Denna looked at Dimas. "Just let me want to rain what not. You don't have to take care of me."
Denna kept walking. Dimas who saw that was confused. What else the sky really looks is starting to get darker.
Suddenly there was a thunderous sound. Denna immediately stopped her steps in shock.
Dimas who can still see Denna from a distance, know if the lady must be afraid of the lightning sound that just sounded suddenly.
Blup up!
Suddenly Denna's body was carried in a bridal style by Dimas. Denna looked shocked so that her hands were reflexively wriggling at Dimas's neck.
"I'm afraid, Dimas," he said softly.
"I know. We're going home now." Denna just fell silent and Dimas took Denna into the car.
Dimas looked at Denna and approached back. "Denna was shocked when Dimas brought his face closer to Denna.
"I'm sorry, I want to put Miss Denna's seat belt on."
"I can put it up myself." Denna tried to get her seatbelt, but Dimas was done with it."
"Dimas!" Suddenly Denna screamed and hugged Dimas who had not yet moved away from her after putting on the seatbelt.
Dimas saw from the glass window that turned out to have been drenched in heavy rain and seen lightning struck ferociously in the sky. The sky turned pitch-black and the sound of thunder was earthy like a great battle.
"Miss, shall we go home later?" Dimas meant, he'd come home later because he wouldn't be able to drive if Denna still hugged him.
"Why is the sound of thunder so big?"
"The rain outside is heavy. Miss, we'll just leave here because our place stops right in front of a big tree and it could be dangerous."
Denna began not to hear the sound of thunder anymore. He slowly released his embrace on Dimas.
"Sorry, we're going home now." Dimas nodded, then he started running his car.
Dimas walked very carefully as the rain grew heavier and many of the small trees on the side of the road fell.
Dimas stopped his car because in front of him the car all stopped.
"What's up, Dimas?"
"Are there trees down? Why is there a police car there." Denna saw a siren light coming from the police car.
"I'll check for a minute. Miss just wait here."
"Dimas, you be careful." Denna doesn't know why she's worried about Dimas.
"Yes, Miss wait here for a minute."
Dimas took the umbrella under his seat and went out.
Denna chose to just wait inside as Dimas had said.
Not long Dimas returned without wearing an umbrella so Dimas was soaked. Denna opened the small glass window.
"There was a car hit by a tree there and people were helping him. The park is still on the way. I'll come help them, and Miss Denna don't come out."
"Yes, I'll wait for you here. Careful, Dimas."
Dimas immediately returned to the scene, and for some reason now Denna's heart was not lost. Denna waited for almost half an hour.
"Why is my heart not so calm? Did something happen to Dimas?"
Denna picked up the umbrella that was behind her chair and she decided to look for Dimas outside.
Denna walked closer to the crowd with her beating heart getting more and more unnerved. He thought he was afraid if anything happened to Dimas.
"Young man be careful!" yelled one of the guys over there."
Denna saw Dimas who was helped by some people trying to hold the side of the tree trunk so that the car door could open and make people in it can get out.
"Quick out! I can't hold it off much longer, or we can all die because this tree will completely afflict all of us!" yelled Dimas with his arms outstretched to help the person in the car.
"The security officer why hasn't he arrived yet? If the person inside does not come out immediately, the young man can also be a victim because of his position that has been half inside" said anxious people who were there.
Denna who heard that wanted to help Dimas, but he couldn't. Dimas would even panic if he saw Denna there.
"You need not be afraid. I'll help you guys, you'll be fine."
Finally three people trapped in the car came out with the help of Dimas pulling them one by one.
"Revelation!" shout them. There was a sound of a dent because the big tree was completely uprooted and overpowered the car until the top and bottom almost fused together.
Denna who wanted to get closer could not because Dimas was immediately surrounded by people who were proud and salute the courage of Dimas.
Dimas glimpsed at Denna who was walking away with her umbrella flying in a strong wind.
"I'll excuse you." Dimas chased after Denna and managed to pull Denna's hand.
"Miss, why did Miss come out? Miss is soaking wet."
"Why did you endanger yourself? Why not wait for the officer to come?"
"It won't be possible, Denna. The tree's condition is already very dangerous to the people in the car."
"You think of others, but you don't think of yourself. What if something happens to you? I'm not selfish, Dimas, but I-." Denna fell silent at a loss as to what to say? Denna was really worried about Dimas.
Denna got into the car and sat quietly in the chair. Dimas got into the car and saw Denna wiping away her tears.
"Miss, is there something wrong with my words." Denna did not answer. Dimas was silent in his place. They could not walk until the big tree was removed.
Silent. That's what's felt right now in that car."
