Sam Paijo's man told Paijo that Jaden was in an accident and that he was critical.
Jaden is known to have just been beaten by some people who he does not know for sure who did it. Then, Jaden had a bad accident and he probably won't be able to survive.
"Thank you, Sam, for the info you gave me."
"Yes, Young Master."
Paijo put his phone in his pants pocket. She stayed in place for a while and recalled everything that obstetrician Nara had said.
"Do I have to tell Nara about Jaden's situation? If Sam says he just got beaten up by some guy. Is that Jaden's enemy? If Nara comes and Jaden's enemy Renata knows, Nara's life will be in danger." Paijo stepped foot into Nara's room.
Paijo looks at Nara from behind the small glass in front of Nara's bedroom door. Paijo felt sorry for Nara who was sitting daydreaming on her bed.
"Paijo, why are you here? Don't you have to look after your restaurant?" Nara looked smiling.
"There's Sam who can handle the business there. How are you doing, Nara?"
"I'm good, Jo, I've decided not to be too sad thinking about my husband. I'm sure he's fine there as long as I stay away from him. At least that's what the mysterious caller promised."
Paijo forced his smile. "I'm so happy if you decide that because after all you have to think about the baby in your womb."
"Right, Jo, I have to make him born into the world and maybe someday I'll bring him up with his father."
"Aren't you afraid if Jaden's enemies find out?"
"I'll make plans to tell Jaden who Renata really is, but not for now. I wanted to let them off guard first thinking I really disappeared and stay away from Jaden."
"I agree with that."
"Anyway, I'd like Jaden to be with me and our son."
Paijo looked silent. She is confused as to what things Nara wants can happen given what Sam just told her earlier. Is Jaden safe?
"I'm the first person who will be happy to see that you can be happy with the person you care about, Nara."
"I've been thinking about this since. I'm not gonna give up, if Jaden finds out who the enemy is, he's gonna do something."
"I know that you're Nara my tough best friend. Now you go to bed because tomorrow we can pack up and go home. Nara, from now on you can just stay in my house and I know you won't like it if it's a roof with a guy who's not your husband. I'll stay for a while in a rented house near my house. After all, I also rarely sleep at home because I often go out of town to take care of my other culinary business."
"No want! I sleep in my contract and you stay in your house. I'm fine, Jo."
"If there's nothing else like you how? If I happen to be here, or what, Nara?"
"The owner and neighbor in my rented house are very nice. They didn't even use me when they found out I was married, but I lived alone."
"They're good, Nara, but don't you want to live in my house that if you have anything to do with it."
"Jo, you don't have to worry about me too much. I can take good care of myself. I'm, right, the tough Nara." Nara laughed and was followed by Jo.
In his heart Paijo felt guilty and apologized for not saying the thing that happened to Jaden. At least there's something Paijo can save even if there's nothing on Jaden."
Almost a month Nara run her activities at the cafe as usual.
The days she spent trying to be happy for the baby she was carrying.
"Mba Nara, you don't make soup? You know that your soup is very good, Mba Nara."
"Maybe today I'm going to make it because I seem to crave wanting to eat chicken soup like my mama used to make."
"Yes, you make it and I'll help you. Mba Nara, I'm sorry about the soup." Tami looked at Nara.
"Apologies for the soup? Have you ever been wrong with my soup?" Nara sees a strange look at Tami.
"There was a man eating here and I liked him a lot. For some reason when I first met her, I fell in love. Dahal is older than me. He ate here and really liked your homemade soup."
"Oh yeah? Then why are you apologizing?"
"When he wanted to meet with the soup maker to thank him and give tips, I admitted that it was my soup. I'm sorry, Nara." Tami's face was down.
"What you're doing is not right, Tami."
"I know, I was wrong, Mba Nara. I actually just want attention from him. I also refused tips from him, but he insisted."
"I'm angry with you, Tam." Nara put on a serious face while crossing her arms.
Tam who is actually a good girl looks sad and scared if Nara does not forgive her.
"Mba Nara, please forgive me, I won't repeat it again. I promise." Tami showed her little finger.
Nara laughed happily. "Are you scared?"
"Mba Nara's! So you just fucked me?" Tami looks surprised to be bullied by Nara.
"Yes, why are you so serious? I wouldn't be angry just because of that. What else you do is just want to be able to get the attention of the person you like."
"Yes, I don't know if I suddenly like it."
"Do you know his name and phone number?"
Tami. "He seemed disappointed when he found out I wasn't the one making the soup. He also seems to have a lover." Tami looked pouted.
"Then you should forget him, Tam because it is not good if we approach a man who already has a lover what else is married. We're like the most wicked women in the world."
"But if he's unhappy with his partner, can't we go near him and give him happiness?"
Nara smiled at Tami's question. "If behind you being his partner he continues to be teased by other women. How's it?" Nara looked at Tami.
"Sick, Mba Nara. Even if you don't like it or don't love, talk first. Relationships end and can be with others."
