First Jealous
THE SOUND OF CHEERING RUMBLING attracted the attention of Thedon who was walking past the library. He glanced at a glance while frowning. As prefect, he realized that soon the break was over. The library should not be this crowded.
He stepped in and found that almost half of the students in the fantasy dormitory filled the library. Ashlen, one of the second generation students from the Fallen Angel race, was standing on the table.
Thedon sat down and crossed his arms. He leaned his body against the wall. Intrigued by the things that will be delivered by one of the students who have been identified as one of the best braggars in his class.
“Why don't you believe it? Do I have to prove it?” exciting Ashlen.
“Come prove!” Lily James answered Ashlen's call.
“Yes. Prove that you were once close to the golden asterois.” This time the voice of Maya— is Lily's one-frequency friend, who both always gets special supervision from Thedon and Shalima.
“Aish .. You never know, right. That in Winterland, all the magic power is pulling each other ...” Ashlen deliberately hung up his sentence. He himself spoke slowly so that it seemed dramatic.
Thedon who heard it only raised an eyebrow of disbelief. He had never been to the land of angels. However, his old friend who also came from Winterland never said that. His friends are actually very normal compared to the second generation of Fallen Angels.
Slowly the main prefect observed the second generation Fallen Angel students. First, Ashlen Winter, the braggart. Thedon believes he sometimes uses a bit of his power in speech. Very attractive but unfortunately beautiful face. Borrowing the term Shalima, Ashlen-faced ‘oppa-oppa Korea’. A term that only humans can understand.
Second, Mikaela Midagad. The big tall student actually looks like his brother Mr. Comparable to students at Maple Academy. Not to mention his face that always looked serious. Not infrequently other students feel they have to avoid dealing with the child.
Third, Sam Uine. From the beginning of the school year, the long-haired, white-haired teenager looked to admire Lily James. Thedon assessed that the man would follow in the footsteps of his dorm friends who liked to reduce boarding points. One of the students on his list.
The fourth and last one is Claryn Raquel. The only woman from the Fallen Angel race to be accepted into the second class of Maple Academy. So far, he's just a student who doesn't have much behavior. I don't know, for Thedon, there was one student who could keep up an attitude was a miracle. He thought too much, according to Amara. It could be, Claryn was the most normal among the fellow Fallen Angel race of the second year.
His observation was interrupted by a fairly loud buzzing sound. Not only Thedon, but all the students who were in the library were shocked. A long-haired beautiful woman with a wave at the end was standing near the table where Ashlen was telling him. The man immediately went down as soon as he saw the cynical gaze of the woman, the library guard.
The loud buzzing sound came from the thick books that were now arranged on the table. Thedon seemed amazed by the skill of the woman who could make a loud noise without scattering books.
“Sorry, Miss. We will be ready soon.” Sam who was standing right next to the woman was just about to raise his legs to retreat regularly.
Miss Therenia—, the school's most beautiful teacher, began to open the books she put on the table. There are six books that all open on a particular page. After all the desired pages opened, Miss Therenia pressed one side of the table then the library wall where Thedon was leaning against changed. A hologram appeared on the wall.
Thedon eventually joined the other students because he was interested in the information conveyed by Miss Therenia.
“According to the book ‘Power of God’, asteroids that fall to Earth usually have unusual powers. The strength depends on the type of asteroid that fell. Earth's own protector sometimes makes the power possessed by asteroids become increasingly thin. So often the fall of asteroids is always ignored by the inhabitants of Earth.”
The hologram screen then displays the next page of the book. This time accompanied by an illustration, a ray that had a long tail.
“From the book ‘Science of Space’, not all celestial bodies that fall to Earth are asteroids. So many celestial objects that often stop to the land of life of the creatures. However, what must be believed every celestial object has power for itself as well as the creatures around it.”
The hologram screen changed again. Now the illustration of a school that makes students of the Wizard race. Wistoria Academy's. The illustration looks new, unlike the previous one.
“This is a new book. The Wisdom of Earth. The author is someone who has been there. It says, All things have energy. Negative energy or positive energy. Especially things that come from outside the land of life. This energy can increase every energy that exists in every creature. However, the energy coming from outside the land of life can never be predicted, cannot be measured, and cannot be controlled.”
Instantly the hologram screen on the wall disappeared. The students sighed in disappointment as they were still curious.
“Jadi ...” Miss Therenia looked at the disciples. The view stopped at Ashlen. The look that made Thedon hold back the laughter because Ashlen looked like a person out of breath. “The conclusion of the books is, asteroids that have great power and energy like the Golden Asteroid are not easily conquered. Mistakes can even cause insanity for those who are unable to withstand or accommodate his energy waves.”
Miss Therenia then closed the book hard. The look in the eyes of the woman who always wore a dress with a low cleavage made all the students come to see the direction of her gaze.
“With your power now, you may go mad if you approach the asteroid. Or are you crazy?” miss Therenia.
Students cheered on Ashlen. Some of them pelted the Fallen Angel teenager with small balls of paper. Ashlen seemed to protect himself by ducking and raising both hands on his head.
Lily and Maya clearly did not waste this opportunity to throw some paper that had been smeared so that it would color the object it liked. Unfortunately because Ashlen protected himself, the ball of paper throw was actually thrown to several other students. So that a furore was created in the library.
The robes of the students changed colourfully. Some are red, yellow, green, even purple. Everyone laughs at each other. Thedon who stood far away, was spared from the incident of the color paper ball, but he kept laughing looking at the others. That was when her bead eyes saw Chalia and Baskara laughing together.
The laughter on his face disappeared.
“Lily James's. Maya Calliston's. Cutting points for Fantasy Dormitories. Fifteen points from each of you!”
