One of Harpi's wings has been temporarily paralyzed because it was hit by a burst of Mayan contract snakes. Maya moved forward as if she wanted to attack Harpi with her bare hands. They certainly could not dispute the orders of the headmaster. A short while after they retreated, there appeared several teachers who caught up with the principal.
