Detention Can Be Fun .
“DUE TO THE CHAOS you did, I was forced to give you detention for 10 days and reduction of dormitory points by 60 points.”
Levi frowned, but his mouth was eager to laugh. For almost an hour she lectured Miss Elafir. He was surprised that the woman could be angry like a monster. Far from the personality of an Elf he knew and written in fairy tale books. From there he assumed that what was written was not necessarily completely true. Mr. Navarro had come and lightened him as well. For some reason, Levi felt a different sensation. Although Miss Elafir is a hermit, Mr. Navarro seemed more intimidating. Even earlier, he struggled to hold back the laughter when Mrs. Elafir grunting. Reminds her grandmother who always nagged about the towel that was placed just anywhere.
He walked down the corridor in shaky steps, occasionally whistling discord. Some children passing by were whispering while looking at him with an unwearing look. Levi charged at them while grinning the horse, then suddenly growled as if he wanted to pounce, making some girls screech and move away. After which, Levi left from there while laughing in satisfaction. Why do women always like to gossip, anyway? thought.
“By the way, I just got detention. What's good, huh?” levi asked the wind. He pressed his forehead with his forefinger wrapped in special alchemy gloves and again groaned. “It will be bored! Besides, I'm also lazy to mix compounds. Is it possible to go to Ginkgo Forest? I think doing an experiment there would—“ Levi suddenly stopped talking. Soon perhaps he took out a small notebook from his tote bag as he had just remembered Mr.'s last words. Navarro during the lecture. “The old man said that I wasn't just in detention. Said someone was gonna wait for me around the school backyard. Okay, take notes first.”
Levi wrote ‘Detention Turns Not Bad Also’ big and then underlined that sentence. He started walking back without noticing the surroundings. On that note, Levi also added a list of activities that he thought were outstanding. Then, he considered leaving a day off to be alone with Lily James. The woman once said that she wanted to plant a unique plant in Ginkgo Forest. Although it sounds very cheap, but anything related to Lily James needs to be appreciated. “Oh yes, Lily how are you, huh? I hope he's not mad because I'm melting the soil of this yard. Hahaha ..”
Still muttering with plans that want to be realized, Levi unconsciously kicked someone's leg. He flinched for a moment and almost kissed the ground. He roared annoyedly at the owner of the outstretched leg. It's rude to make a Levi Strauss fall. However, once aware that he was angry with were Thann and Addison, Levi tilted his head. The two children looked pitiful with a sad look on their faces. “Cih, maybe upset because rejected by women. You young people. Her job is just looking for love.”
Without caring for the two students again, Levi carried his tote bag and continued walking until he realized he was at the end of the school backyard. Levi looked around, but he saw no one. “Where are the people waiting for that? Kok, there isn't? Whoa! Is it possible that the principal played me? Can not be dibar—“ he stopped thinking about the closing sentence. “No, no, no!” levi immediately looked at Mr. Navarro is intimidating.
In the end, Levi decided to sit on a stone chair not far from there. He pondered while looking at his father's alchemy gloves. Past memories come at an inopportune time. On top of his head was already spinning the memory of his mother's miserable death and the loss of the father during the affairs of scientists in a distant area. Until this moment, Levi still remembered the message of his father, that he would definitely become a great scientist. At that moment, his father said while laughing out loud. Whether it was a joke or just wanting to please her, however the message will continue to be remembered. Suddenly, Levi laughed again. “I look geeky when sad like this, yes?”
“Rada-rada, hell!”
Hearing his words responded, Levi was shocked not to play. When his gaze was still on the ground, he saw a huge shadow having angel-like wings coming from behind. Levi's instincts tell him he's in danger. As quickly as possible the child moved away from the stone chair and stood by. “Who?”
“Wow, I surprised you, huh?”
A powerful man. His body was towering and looked like a king. His dark black hair formed the middle side. His skin was pale like the skin of a dead man. The man greeted and gave a charming smile, but inexplicably Levi felt a sense of intimidation like he found the principal. Right now, this mysterious person was wearing an all-black suit. Levi looked at him for a long time.
“Halo? Why suddenly silence? Oh, you must admire my suit. Naturally, anyway,” he said full of confidence. Again he grinned.
“Om, who are you? I've never seen it before.”
“A-you are... a king and not a Vampire?”
The man chuckled. Even his laugh sounded jarring although not tight. “I hate vampires from whom you know. They are dirty and like to suck blood. Not me so much.”
Levi was still nervous when faced with him. “That means ... You are the one who is said to be the principal?”
Lord Betelgeuse grinned widely with a nod. Levi gulped, he thought this guy looked like a perverted om-om, but in a more handsome version. “A-what do you mean to meet me?”
“I just saw your reckless action. Anti-mainstream, but less preparation. If it was neater, I have given a standing ovation,” he explained. Lord Betelgeuse walked around the bewildered Levi. The man was massaging his chin, as if he was researching all aspects of himself. “However, you already fit as criteria.”
“What criteria?”
“You know so much?”
“What the fuck? I feel like I'm being played!” Levi said in a high tone. There was a look of anger on his face.
“Emotion is also out of control, huh? No problem anyway,” continued the man. “Alright, as Navarro has already approved, I will take you away until the detention period ends.”
“Eh? Whatdoes thatmean? Why did you know that I had detention?”
Lord Betelgeuse plays his index finger. “Do not bring Levi Strauss. I know there's a lot of questions in your brain right now, but there's no time to explain. Prepare all your needs because we will travel far.”
“Walking to—“
The man looked with sharp eyes, making Levi not continue his words. “Searching for Gold Asteroid debris in a place that has never been touched.”
Instantly, Levi's eyes widened. He knew there was a big event waiting for him in a moment. And that meant no boredom he would find for the next ten days. How interesting!
Isn't detention sometimes fun?
