Maple High School Academy Hidden Year 1
The Vision from the Sky - Shine

Shines

SHALIMA SAT ON A wooden chair. On the table before him, there were scattered several books and a tablet that was projecting a human-looking plant in three dimensions. The room was surrounded by shelves of old books, bottles of potions, and jars of medicine. A simple bed, complete with infusion poles neatly lined up on the right side of the room.

The girl was in one of the school's clinics, where medical and health workers provided basic medical services. Since the beginning of the year, Shal took turns interning at several clinics in Maple Academy. In addition to learning about diseases and drugs, Shal also made observations about medical treatment. He was even allowed to give the first treatment to patients.

Currently, medical and health workers are in a meeting. Shalima was asked to stand guard while making notes about the mandrake until her internship was over. Instead of finishing the note, Shal instead observed the pictures of Zovras while smiling to himself.

Suddenly, Shal heard the sound of footsteps entering the clinic. When he turned his head, he saw that Thann was already sitting on the chair beside him leisurely. It has been five days, but Thann has not given any explanation to Amara— who is like Shal's guardian at school. Now the man found her. Want what?

“Is there anyone here competent to heal wounds?” Thann asked as he stuck out his left hand in front of Shalima's face.

Shal could see three incision wounds on Thann's palm. Worriedly Shal grabbed Thann's hand to research her further. Suddenly his memory came to the surface. Shal knew the wound because he had seen it. It was the incision wound of the thorns of the Sommare tree that was in one of the Maple Academy's remote gardens.

On the first level, Shal once took the leaves of the Sommare tree to be used as a koyok. However, the stairs he used turned fragile so the girl fell. The Black Lid who happened to be there held Shal's body, but instead the Black Lid's left hand was slashed by the tree's thorns.

“Once again I forget you can self-healing,” complained The Black Lid. When Shal tried to treat him with ointment, the man refused.

“Trust me, I know who can heal me,” she said under a large black hood. The man then went out of nowhere.

Once again Shal watched Thann's wound intently, just like the Black Hood's wound back then.

“The wound is light, it seems with enough ointment,” Shal said as he moved to take the ointment. However, Thann instead held Shal's wrist with his right hand.

“It is precisely because the wound is light, is there nothing more practical than ointment?” tease Thann.

“If you want to get smashed, ask Mr. Navarro there!” sumpul Shal while clasping Thann's hand. However, the man held her back once more.

“You don't need a spell, but confidence,” said Thann sharply. “In you flow healing, Shal. Remember when you added my energy to Ginkgo Forest with singing? That's just a sound. Let's make sure what else your hands and your whole body can do with healing.” Thann spoke as he placed Shalima's hand over his injured palm. Slowly, Shal could feel some energy coming out from within him. Thann nodded, like having Shal try to do something.

Doubtfully, Shal held Thann's hand with both hands. Shal could tell thoroughly about the man's body, including three minor incisions on his palm, two bruises on his back, thin wounds, and a few more, even the shape of the tattoo that is on the surface of the man's skin.

You know, Shal's been trying to say hello to Thann's body. With a little concentration he poured his energy into Thann's entire body while having them work a little harder and faster. Things that happen in the Fallen Angel body are so complex, but Shal can feel Thann's blood cells working very swiftly to close the wound, destroying germs in the wound area, he said, and produce compounds to repair damaged body tissues. Before long, collagen grows rapidly to push the edges of the wound until it shrinks and closes.

Shal chokes and releases Thann's hand. This is a new experience for him. Because he was too concentrated, he forgot to breathe.

Thann pulled out his hand and noticed the scar on his palm that had dried up. With a slanted smile, the man said, “Not bad. I suggest you try to better understand the healing flow within yourself before learning to control and use it.”

Shalima looked at Thann with a gasp of breath. His adrenaline was very racing and his chest was pounding. There was a sense of pleasure that the girl could not express in words when she saw that the wound on Thann's hand was already dry.

Shal reflexively closed his eyes as Thann's finger tapped his forehead with his index finger three times. But this time it was different. The knock on the forehead that Thann had previously done to mock him, now felt so soft.

“You still want to be here or already want to go home?” Thann lowered his index finger and returned to being the cynical Thann. Shal looked at the clock on the wall and realized that his internship was over. While Shal was tidying up his belongings, a nurse came to replace Shalima on guard.

“Cowok it seems to be serious with you, huh?”

Shalima sneered, “Sok knows so much! Were you here when we were level one?”

Thann glued for a while and said, “Trust me, I know a lot of things.”

The moment Thann said that sentence, Shalima could only fall silent. Somehow Shal felt that if Thann's face was covered in a large black hood, he would look like a mysterious student in his class, the Black Hood. The Black Lid also has nuskabadori and according to Thedon likely has a black hole as well. Could it?

Shal's fantasy was spoiled as soon as Thann asked him, “You know what this is?” The man pointed to a picture of a rocky field visible from above.

Shal shook his head, “I only saw him in a dream.”

Thann sat in a chair while thinking. “This is a picture of Frog Stone Field in Winterland, Fallen Angels Kingdom. It used to be not like this. When I was a kid, Lynean and I played with frogs there. However, for some reason, the frogs suddenly attacked us.”

If it was in the Fallen Angels Kingdom, of course Shal had never been there. He was actually dreaming of things he had never seen before.

This time Thann directed his gaze to Shalima and continued his story, “I tell you one secret. Actually, a beautiful voice was not Lynean's main talent. Small time he can let out a shout that can destroy the eardrum.”

Shah Shal's forehead is wrinkled. Doesn't Thann have that ability? Shal watched Thann yell at the mother pig in Ginkgo Forest until her eardrum hurt a bit.

“When he shouted towards the rocks of the frog house, I knew he wanted to destroy the stone field, as well as the frogs that lived in it. At that time I still did not fully understand my talent. Without me noticing, I had already absorbed the sound energy that Lynean released, even the other energy within him and the surrounding energy. There was an explosion. After that the hole in me appeared, the stone field was destroyed, all the frogs were wiped out, and Lynean was mute for several months. His mellow voice can return, but not with his other talents.”

Shal pensive. Turns out that's how Thann once made Lynean mute.

“I ... sorry about my time of shooting,” shal.

“What you are saying is facts. I am indeed good at mute people,” Thann reply casually while turning to observe the other pictures. “Why did Zovras draw this?” tanyakanya.

“I had a few nightmares. So, he wants to try to give astrology dream interpretation through picture.”

“Oh, so. It looks like this is a vision from the sky,” Thann said while showing a picture of the shadow of eight birds blocked by thin fog. Shal sees them flying under Dragon Porsesa, as the dragon drops him into the crater of the volcano.

“This is exactly my father's flying position with his team. A few weeks ago, he and seven other Fallen Angels flew to Autumnland Island to research the volcano's crater. If Naga Porsesa is also there, it is likely that my father's plans have been disrupted.” Thann smiled mysteriously then looked at Shal again, “My father is not as good as you think.”

Without letting Shal refute his remarks, Thann pointed to one more picture. It was the image of Shal already landing on the mirror plains and seeing two people about to continue the battle.

“This is where?”

“Do not know. Anyway the place reflects the sky,” replied Shal.

Thann was seen watching the image seriously and then tapping on the greenish color of the light at the bottom edge of the image.

“Kuralat, this is not a vision from the sky. Looking at these two people, it seemed like they were standing on top of a mirror. That is, this green light is also a reflection of something. If you look at the color, I remember the sparkle of the body of a cave lizard when it mutated.”

Shal snatched the picture and noticed the sparkle below the picture. He looked at Thann in disbelief.

That guy is a genius!
