Luccane

Luccane
Chapter 51: Instructions From The Old Book

"Huh, what?!"

Andri's surprised face made me giggle amused, his face looks very funny with perfectly rounded eyes like he wanted to get out of place.

"We must immediately find the answer to the mystery in this book so that they can all rest in peace" I said as I picked up Vin's book lying on the nightstand.

Andri smiled, patting my shoulder.

"I'm so proud of you. I don't think you're really willing to do it all."

"This is not all I do just because I love Luccane, but everything must be resolved completely. I want Luccane and his family to be able to return to God's side and get the best place immediately" I replied with a downcast look, faithfully looking at Vin's book with a sad look.

Although it looks like it will go through a lot of twists and turns, I am sure that I can solve all the problems that exist well.

Sooner or later I will find answers to all the strange things that happened.

Andri's hand gently rolled me out of the room, the gaze of the handsome young man with a face similar to that of a European softened as if persuading me not to refute anything he would say.

"Then we have to eat first, won't we be able to fight hungry?" Andri half-joked while embracing my shoulder to walk towards the kitchen.

I once again chuckled. "yes, I admit you are indeed very rational."

Both, Andri and I then headed to the kitchen to fill up the ammunition first before starting this complicated work.

"Well, look like someone else got along, didn't you just look at each other yesterday?" goda Mang Ujang who was busy arranging empty plates on the dining table.

Aunty smiled softly. "they have also gotten along well, but it is more cool to see that you guys get along this way."

Me and Andri could only respond to the jokes from both of Andri's parents with laughter, then enjoy starting to pray before the delicious dishes that had been prepared by Bibi.

"Feeling Aunt always delicious, thank you Aunt has always wanted to be made to bother with Visha. Thank you also for Mang Ujang who is always on standby when Visha needs help," I sincerely thank Bibi and Mang Ujang who have always been with warmth to take care of me since living in Bandung.

"Sama-sama. Neng Visha 'our child also does not need to hesitate so," Mang Ujang closed with a polite but full of authority.

Once again I was made grateful because so many good people who had been willing to support me without strings attached even though now Luccane can no longer meet.

...****************...

The scorching weather that afternoon made Andri rush towards the back pavilion of the house to start our important discussion.

The wind was blowing quite fast but unfortunately did not deliver a sense of comfort let alone cold for both of us.

"Where are we going to start?" asked Andri while holding the things I brought before.

I turned the old doorknob of the back pavilion of the Mang Ujang family home carefully, unwilling to let the old doorknob that was still original since the Dutch colonial era was damaged.

Mang Ujang takes care of every inch of this building very well and carefully so that it can still maintain its authenticity.

"Of course we have to learn more clearly who the name is in the book" I replied, helping Andri drop the luggage onto the glass table in front of us.

"Too many names are contained in this book how can we find a clue?" Andri said then sat down in front of me.

I took a breath, Andri said.

Too many people's names written in the book would be difficult for us if we had to look for them one by one. It's a little troublesome, but Andri and I have to move fast.

My finger then opened the page of the book owned by Vin that I had marked by folding a little page, yes, the page from the beginning had already caught my attention because it looked very different from the other pages. Inside the sheet, Vin wrote everything using red ink which is very suspicious when viewed from the color.

"You look at this page, it looks strange like it's different from the others" I said, pointing out the page I meant to Andri.

With a tangled forehead, Andri began to read the Dutch script slowly trying to interpret every word written on the page appropriately.

"The man was so sinful, I decided to take him straight to hell quickly because such a man did not deserve to be left alive. I wonder if that arrogant and arrogant man can also feel fear?" with his forehead still wrinkled Andri translated the Dutch he read into Indonesian.

Actually from the beginning I already knew the meaning of the page, only I did not know who Vin meant in the page. He simply wrote it down as a man that of course there are millions of men living in the world.

"That guy? who was Vin referring to at the time?" I murmured while rubbing my chin using my index finger.

Moreover, there are so many names that have been written by Vin in the book that I can not easily guess who is meant by Vin.

"That's just a clue we found for now, Visha. We must gather as many clues as possible" Andri said, rubbing the pages of the book that most caught my attention with his forefinger.

"Andri, your index finger why is it following the red?" I was a little surprised to see Andri's index finger whose color also turned as red as the mysterious page.

Andri kissed the tip of his index finger, making me gulp because I felt a very strange sensation running away.

"Hueeek! Visha, how come my hands stink of blood, huh? Moreover, this smells so strong is this written using people's blood?!" Andri called out in panic.

I tried to stay calm even though my blood seemed to spread all my fear throughout my body, grabbing Andri's right hand whose index finger tip was blood red.

I slowly smelled Andri's index finger trying to find clues to the weirdness we had just found.

"Andri, would you like to hear something surprising?" ask me seriously with a centered view on me Andri.

"What's that about?"

"Vin wrote the page using real human blood ink."
