Luccane

Luccane
Chapter 29: The Recovery Period

At four o'clock in the morning I woke up from my sleep due to the heavy rain accompanied by great lightning out there. The sky seemed to have completely shed all its weight until the rain this time was very fierce, somewhat different from the rain that had fallen a few days ago.

As you know, as you know, the hospital is now in a very quiet state and I can only hear the sound of heavy rain out there clearly because the very quiet condition is now swallowing myself round and round.

I kept my eyes closed, trying to go back to sleep but was not able to produce results like my expectations.

The harder I tried to sleep, the more I thought about the reasons for Andri and Luccane's strange behavior lately.

Although I know now Andri has been able to see Luccane just like me, but the young man seems very reluctant even just to give a greeting to Luccane.

Every time I asked her why, Andri chose to silence or instead shift the conversation in a direction that had absolutely no correlation at all with Luccane.

I was upset, unable to do anything to extract information regarding what happened as long as I was unconscious.

The doctor in charge of my treatment while in this hospital will also not give me an outpatient permit considering that the injuries I got were indeed quite fatal.

Tired of my own thoughts, I slowly tried to sit myself down. With the back of my ward made of iron I leaned my back.

The nursery where I stayed was indeed in a bright condition, all the lights in this room were on. I don't want to sleep even bothered by 'them' who are not seen at will.

Anyway, the best advantage I got with this ability was seeing Luccane. The rest? I am often made dizzy with the behavior of 'brands' who often do whatever they want themselves to make me difficult.

Since I was now in a condition that did not allow for much activity, I could only see the outside world using my phone.

Not infrequently, I watch horror content to just add insight related to the advantages I have.

Many of the indigo kids I watch always say the same thing: not to help 'them' for whatever reason.

"You watch those indigo people's videos again? I told you to stop watching it,"

I kept releasing the earphones that were clogging my left ear hole, looking at the figure that came with the smell of the sweet flowers that very special night. If it does not bring the smell of delicious flowers night with its appearance, he also often comes with the aroma of expensive perfumes typical of ancient times.

"Don't interfere in my business," I replied, looking at him with a fierce look.

The handsome young man chuckled. "how could I not interfere in your affairs? I'm still your lover."

Luccane. Despite the terrible thing that had happened to me because of him and me who loved each other, I could never get rid of my feelings for him at all.

"Mama and Papa didn't stay here?" he asked again, now in a sitting position on the chair next to the ward where I was.

"They were staying at Mang Ujang's house aka Papa and Mama's house," I replied while watching Luccane's pair of blue netra carefully, looking for something there.

The deep sadness and wounds seemed to be clearly reflected behind the pair of charming blue obsidians.

I also felt the emotions Luccane felt miraculously, as if we were both bound to each other.

"The house was actually a gift from Papa to Mama to celebrate Mama's birthday as well as their wedding anniversary at that time. Although Papa is not a warm father and husband, he is actually very romantic" Luccane added.

I chose silence, focusing entirely on that handsome yet very unfortunate young man.

"But, not even two years before the house stood the Japanese military invasion made everything very chaotic and uncontrollable. Many Dutch people who have money come back to Europe, while some who do not have enough money or time to save themselves like we were slaughtered to the end in various sadistic ways."

The rain that never subsided made me more curious about Luccane's story.

Slowly, I grabbed Luccane's hand asking him to go back on his story.

"You've seen some headless Dutchmen passing through the hallways of this hospital, haven't you? They were also victims of Japanese soldiers. After the Japanese took their lives by slashing their throats with samurai, the heartless dwarves threw all their bodies into the old well behind the hospital," luccane continues his story.

"It was only fitting that the well had an extremely powerful and gloomy aura. I heard that well was even to the point of being indestructible huh?"

Luccane nodded. "right. this hospital was once owned by the Dutch but after Indonesian independence was then managed by the government to expand the building, the building was, the well has tried several times to be knocked down but still does not work."

Although I knew quite a lot about mystical things, still such things managed to make me shudder in horror.

There are many bodies in that old well, isn't it terrible?

"In addition to the headless Dutch troops, I also met many other ghosts in conditions that are no less alarming. There was a European-faced pregnant mother ghost who also glanced at me with a very creepy gaze," I said, recalling the incident I experienced while still unconscious.

"What does it look like?" Luccane asked curiously.

"Her hair was blond with green eyes, maybe she was pregnant with old pink clothes" he explained.

Luccane grimaced, he seemed to be instantly able to guess the figure I meant.

"She was actually the wife of one of the Dutch officials who served for quite a long time in the government at that time. But yes, I can't name him because he has a close connection to Indonesian history."

"Ah, why are you always so?" I clicked with pursed lips.

"It's good that way. If you ever find out who I really want that woman to be, it could change history."
