Chapter 48: Pure Liefde in Parijs of Java

"That's no big deal. Then let's go on a romantic date, Vishabea my lover," Luccane said with a charming smile as he grabbed my hand.

I nodded, following Luccane's steps which then carried me to another dimension of time. Luccane took me out of Mang Ujang's house, I found that a lot had changed from this time dimension.

European-style architectural buildings in the Dutch colonial era greeted my netraku so beautiful and elegant makes me feel like I was in Europe.

The building standing in front of us still seemed sparse and very organized, there were still many trees and grass that were soothing to the eyes. The night wind also felt much cooler but soothing, feeling different from what I used to feel.

"Bandung looks so different, I feel like I'm in Europe" I said in amazement.

"That's why in his day people called this city Parijs Van Java. Now we are on the road Braga, the center of all entertainment in this city in the heyday of the Netherlands," Luccane explained while guiding my steps to walk further enjoy the beauty of the city of Bandung that night.

The size of the road still looks the same as in the future, the magnificent buildings standing firmly on the left and right sides of the road.

"It used to be this good before, this road was known as Karrenweg and was used as a connecting road between the coffee house owned by Meneer Andreas de Wilde and the post highway," Luccane goes back to explaining the history of this place like a history teacher makes me smile.

I haven't studied with Luccane in a long time like this, let alone seeing his place in a different time.

It's so magical, only Luccane is the only extraordinary ghost who can take me across the paradox of time.

"The post highway? Now it's been renamed the Asia-Africa road, isn't it?" many enthusiast.

"Rubber. On the road there are also some original buildings from the colonial era that still stand strong. When I was a kid, Papa used to take me down that street and the buildings were there" Luccane replied, recalling his past.

"That was a pretty good time before I went to school" he added with a smile.

"Luccane?"

"Yes, honey?"

"Can we have dinner together like a couple in general? At least for tonight," I said, trying to persuade Luccane.

Luccane smiled wryly. "excuse me, but I can't grant your request on this one, but I can replace it with another."

Luccane's fingers reached into the pocket of the white trousers he was wearing and then thrust a dark blue velvet box at me.

"What's this?" many confused.

"just open. You'll love it, for sure" Luccane said with a bright red tinge that adorned his beautiful face.

I thoughtlessly opened the velvet box with curiosity.

Again, Luccane managed to amaze me with his often unexpected behavior.

A pair of netraku were charmed by a beautiful necklace decorated with sapphire blue diamonds in a gift box from Luccane.

"This is the necklace that Mama gave me. In the past, Mama asked me to give this necklace to the woman I chose as a wife later. But as you know, I died before I could get married so I decided to give this to you" Luccane explained solemnly, her pair of beautiful blue obsidians sat in front of me sending out such a great pity.

"I have nothing more precious to give you than this necklace" Luccane added.

Tears instantly pooled in my eyes, this heart feels full and sad because of the fate of our love story that is not sanctioned by the universe but there is not much that Luccane and I can do even though we are so in love with each other.

Without speaking, Luccane just grabbed my body, bringing it into his tight arms.

Luccane gently rubbed my back trying to calm myself down.

"That's it. This is not the fault of the two of us, everything is purely because of the destiny line that has been determined by God. After this pain, I'm sure you can live happily" whispered Luccane gently as he stroked the strands of my hair.

"I'll try to live better, Luccane."

"good. Then get the necklace because I have to put it on directly," Luccane's word is still just as gentle.

I nodded, then turned back to Luccane. Slowly, he placed the beautiful diamond necklace around my neck.

"Look, the necklace looks even more beautiful after you wear it. It looks like the necklace was made for you, "praise Luccane with a satisfied smile.

The sapphire blue diamond that adorned the necklace seemed to be very glittering under the light of the full moon made me even more amazed.

I believe the price of the necklace can even finance my life for the next few years considering the high price of rare sapphire blue diamonds that adorn the necklace.

"This necklace is not an ordinary necklace, I hope you can continue to look after it," Luccane said with a solemn tear full of hope.

"Yes. Thank you for giving it to me" I replied with a big smile.

My feelings are mixed now, but most obviously I feel that this heart still loves Luccane.

My chest thumped as Luccane again grabbed my finger, frightening him with his long, sturdy fingers.

With all the rest of our laughter, Luccane and I returned down the road to Braga tonight befriending the full moon that lit up our path.

A silent yet romantic atmosphere accompanies every second we have together tonight, I try to remember every precious second of this without missing a single moment.

"I don't know how else to express this feeling, but really I love you so much, Vishabea Lazuardi" Luccane said softly, his voice sounded slightly muffled by the gusts of wind that passed between us.

"Huh, I told you I love you too," I pretended to be angry to make Luccane stop his steps and turned to me.

"You angry? Here, you should be given a sweet kiss first then!" Luccane exclaimed excitedly, teasing me.

I chuckled ignorantly. "in that case, you should catch me first!"

"You challenged me? Oh, well I'll catch you and teach you a lesson!"

"Then go after me right now, Luccane!"

My feet began to take a thousand steps, running away from Luccane while continuing to hurl ridicule at him in order to quickly catch me.

However, no matter how far I go my feelings for Luccane will never change.

I'm even sure that at any time, in this niche of hearts there's always room to love Luccane until the end of my life.

Yes, Luccane will always be in my life even though this self knows that later I will not be able to see him again sooner or later.
