Luccane

Luccane
Chapter 40: Dating In A Different Dimension

"Luccane, I want this back to be enough."

"All right."

I closed my eyes, again I was taken to a different dimension.

This time I was taken by Luccane to the Asia-Africa road, which still retains some Dutch heritage buildings.

"Why was I brought here?" many confused.

Luccane smiled faintly. "I want to show you everything while I can. Just enjoy the rest of the time we have."

This time Luccane looked very different, he wore a plain white shirt with long sleeves with a black bow tie, in line with the trousers he wore.

Luccane was very neat and handsome, making me smile then nod in agreement to return his words just now.

Again I was made to forget that Luccane was a ghost so fascinated me to him.

His ripples this time were so calm and happy, making me smile too.

Luccane gently took my hand, patiently guiding my every step, taking me to look at the life of that day.

I looked enthusiastically at Uncle the lemonade ice seller who peddled his wares by being shouldered on foot, mobbed by thirsty little children after playing.

There was also a small child who brought various types of household furniture by being shouldered, walking selflessly, slowly while looking for people who if they want to buy merchandise to make my heart feel sad and sad.

"First, Mama used to take me to a crowded place like this. Although Papa always forbade me to drink lemonade ice, Mama often bought it for me secretly while we were alone. do you know? the lemonade ice tasted so good and refreshing" Luccane told the story, recalling his past with his mother.

When I was a kid, I used to drink ice lemonade which often sold in front of the elementary school where I attended. It tastes good but I don't know if it tastes the same as Luccane meant.

"When Mama and I were alone, we used to buy food by the roadside and conspired not to tell Papa," Luccane added as he passed by the ice-candy merchant's uncle while giggling.

The Asian-African road that day saw many people passing by, most people walk on their bicycles to their destinations.

"Did your father never know that you'd get caught on the side of the road?" my many.

Luccane grimaced amusedly. "it was discovered once, then Papa nagged me and Mama all day. Come to think of it, it was Papa's way of conveying his affection to us."

I remember the day I met his father Luccane at Mang Ujang's house. I could see clearly how deeply his love for his son and wife was from his blue eyes.

"Yes, Luccane. I know your Papa and Mama love you very much," I said as I pressed our hand.

"If only then had I returned their affection equally well," the young man said regretfully, leading my way to a park bench located under a tree next to the sidewalk.

"Am I destined to always lose someone I love?" he muttered again with sad eyes.

The blue sky that overshadowed us both this time was as if it knew how heavy destiny we both had to go through. Slowly, the blue sky began to be covered by cloudy clouds upon arrival me and Luccane on the bench of the park made of iron.

"It seems like a heavy rain is coming down, let's find shelter" Luccane cried out in panic as the raindrops began to fall one by one with the thunder's roar.

Luccane's hand still faithfully clasped my hand, bringing myself into a theater that in modern times no longer exists.

"Can we get some rain?" my question, given the paradox of the time we were at this moment was different from where I came from.

Luccane shook his head with a nosy smile.

"No, it's just that I really like to see rain falling from behind glass" Luccane admitted honestly, making me frown.

The sky had started to spill all its weight just after Luccane and I sat in front of a large window displaying the scenery outside, heavy rain like Luccane's prediction actually came down accompanied by strong winds and lightning.

The thunderous sound of lightning striking in various directions was enough to make me tremble. In silence, Luccane grabbed my waist and carried my body into the warm embrace that I had always longed for.

The soft musk scent coming out of Luccane's body again made me forget the fact that Luccane was not a human being like me.

But love again closes my logic tightly.

I closed my eyes, enjoyed every second I had with Luccane before I completely lost him.

Luccane rubbed my back gently, sending me his still-so-stirring affection.

"Vishabea, I no longer know how to show you how I feel" the handsome young man said softly, still enduring the warm embrace he had created.

"Why do you keep expressing your feelings like that?" I asked while laughing amusedly, buried my face in Luccane's chest that was so fielded and comfortable to lean on.

"I have to do it while I can and have a chance. Didn't you also know that I wouldn't be able to be with you forever" Luccane replied with a slight ruckus, rewarding me with a few warm kisses on top of my head.

Even though my heart ached after listening to the facts spoken by Luccane, I still tried to smile and strengthen my heart.

My heart felt very comfortable and peaceful, at home lingering in the warm and soothing Luccane.

True said Luccane, although there is not much time I can have with Luccane I have to enjoy every moment left.

"I love you more than love itself, Visha. If my time is up, I will always try to make sure that you can live better without me" Luccane whispered as he stroked my hair.

My tears that have been pooled in the eye pelukur finally I can not last longer. They drip together, just as hard as the rain out there.

"I hope that later after I disappear you can live happily with good men who are destined by God for you. Hopefully later this precious tear will no longer shed often," Luccane said full of earnestness.

"I love you too, Luccane. But what is the power of our love not sanctioned by the universe."
