Luccane
Chapter 11: Jealousy

"Vishabea, are you not as sensitive as someone's efforts?"

The quiet question seemed to corner me, making me glare at the owner of the question.

Eliezer looked at me expectantly, making me have no other reason than to give her a firm stance so as not to go any further because I felt that young man was attracted to me.

"What else is my sister doing?" I asked back with a cold smile, trying to pretend not to know the direction of the conversation.

"Yes I'm trying to get closer to you, is that okay?"

Carly and Kak Juna seemed to feel bad but just sat glued to their respective places, watching the interaction between me and Brother Eliezer.

"It's only natural to do it now, brother? I'm sorry, but I'm in a hurry because there's a sudden business at home. Excuse me," I said, closing the conversation.

"Carly, I'm gonna go home first, be careful."

Carly nodded in response to make me without a second thought I immediately got up from my seat, left the canteen in a hasty step reluctantly to deal longer with Brother Eliezer.

What the fuck is that senior? He clearly only looked at my physical appearance, otherwise how could he have dared to directly express his desire to get closer to me? Huh, there's-there's just.

I hope that one man will not do bad things that can affect my study while here.

The sun that shone too brightly managed to make my head feel a bit dizzy to decide to go home even though I actually wanted to stop by the farmhouse first to eat at home.

Yes, I was afraid of fainting in the middle of the road due to self-imposing so I preferred to go straight home for my own safety.

...****************...

After saying my greetings, I shuffled into the room with shaky steps.

The heat of the sun today really managed to disrupt the working system in my brain.

My head felt very heavy as if I was upholding a large stone and throbbing, making me want to not immediately lie down on the bed.

"Why you?" the soft voice asked as I closed my eyes.

"I don't know, I think my head is heavy. Is there something?"

Luccane snorted in annoyance, pecking at my confusion until he finally reopened his eyes and looked at him questioningly while lying down.

"What's up, Luccane?"

"Are you unconscious? There is a 'someone' who makes you this way" Luccane said with an upset face.

"Huh? Ls i? Indeed, in the rectorate building earlier I saw a handsome young Dutchman in a luxurious white suit," I said after trying to remember.

"Well, most of the old buildings on your campus are indeed Dutch heritage buildings. And what you see is the landlord of the land on which the university is standing" Luccane said without asking.

The Landlord? The entity I saw that even looked very young was probably around twenty-five to thirty years old. It was great that he became a landlord.

"His name is Vincent De Kerkoof, a wealthy young merchant who also lived in the same age as me. Back when we were alive we met a few times because he was doing business with Papaku" Luccane added.

"Why did he die?"

"I heard that before the massacre by the Japanese soldiers up to here he was executed by being beheaded by the violent dwarves" Luccane said seriously.

I swallowed spit. "Do you remember the details of the story about the incident?"

"The former Meneer Kerkoof was forced to give his land which is now a university land where you study for free to Japan to build a fort."

Luccane's two clear blue beads looked at me, making me nod in curiosity as to the continuation of the story.

"Of course Meneer Kerkoof resolutely refused, and eventually he lost his life in such a terrible way. If he looks at you with his handsome appearance it means he's attracted to you" Luccane said with a sour face.

I raised both of my eyebrows. "why would he be interested in me? Isn't it good that I can use him while on campus?"

Luccane huffed. "why the hell, are you such a bitch?"

After all, I was quite amazed by the appearance of Meneer Kerkoof who looked so handsome and charming with his blonde hair while looking at me warmly from the top of the rectorate building stairs during the orientation period of the first day freshmen held earlier.

I'm not kidding, Meneer Kerkoof's appearance is not at all creepy, he looks so charming with his luxurious appearance that looks so distinctive.

"Oh, don't tell me you're thinking about that Meneer Kerkoof because he showed himself to you in a handsome form?" search Luccane while looking at me with a sour face.

"Aren't you going to do it?" ledekku, considering Luccane also always appears in his charming form.

Luccane smiled wryly. "do you not realize that I am jealous and worried now?"

I glared in surprise. "what? jealous? I just found out that ghosts feel jealous too."

Luccane nodded without a single speck of hesitation.

"Meneer Kerkoof was so interested in you that he did, if he didn't feel any interest in him coming up with such a handsome form."

I chuckled amusedly, oh, it turns out Luccane can also feel jealous like that.

"But Meneer Kerkoof didn't invite me to interact, so I don't think that's what you need to worry about, let alone be so jealous," I said.

Luccane's eyebrows swooped in. "it was precisely because he was trying to recognize your personality first before having an interaction."

I looked straight at Luccane who looked sullen, it seemed like he was indeed really jealous after hearing the story from me just now.

A rare occurrence the young man could show his feelings with such a sour face.

"All right, so what should I do?" tanyaku pretend innocent. Yeah, but honestly I like to see Luccane jealous like that.

"Maybe keep your distance from that Meneer Kerkoof! I don't want it until you like it too, that noble ghost has already captivated many women's hearts" Luccane grumbled with pursed lips.

"How do you know about it?" my lure is trying to heat up Luccane.

Luccane clicked. "of course I know! anyway if the ghost has Dutch blood I know all of them."

I smiled wryly, happy to see such a Luccane. He looks more honest by expressing his feelings with the look of his face, in contrast to the previous one he always did behind a smile.

Because it was nice to see it like that, I came to think of an idea that seemed to be very pleasant if I run it immediately.
