"It looks like that person wants to finish me off," Jasper said in a flat tone.

"They took this piece of land from me after learning that I had the intention to buy it. After that, they will sell it back to me at a higher price. This way is indeed - beyond the ability of ordinary people," added Jasper.
An awkward expression formed on Chad's face. "Why didn't you pick another plot of land, lord Laine?" She asked.
Jasper shook his head, rejecting Chad's suggestion.
The plot of land Jasper chose would become the most valuable part of Reed City in the future. A 1500-hectare plot of land will also be enough to fully sustain the construction of the plant in the future.
"If I have to choose another plot of land, I will withdraw my investment from Reed City entirely. After all, since they had taken that piece of land from me, it meant that they were also able to snatch other items from me."

The car window was lowered to reveal the face of a young man. "You're an investor from out of town, right? You must have taken some time to come here. Why are you in such a hurry to leave? You haven't felt the burning passion of the people from Reed City yet" he said in a mocking tone.
Upon seeing the man, Chad, who was standing beside Jasper, immediately lowered his voice. "Mr Laine, he's the one in charge of that company. His name is Marcus Coine. I don't know how he knew you were coming" he whispered.
After hearing Chad's explanation, Jasper spoke to Marcus in a calm tone, "I've been through a rather profound experience."
Marcus opens the car door and exits. He chuckled in response. "You sound like you're not too happy about a lot of things. Why so? Don't you want to invest in Reed City again, Big Boss?" She asked.
"Since there are people who won't let me in, I have no choice but to leave" Jasper replied.
Marcus snorted loudly. "really excessive. It's just a piece of land, isn't it? I heard you intend to buy a 1500-acre plot for 200 million dollars. It was not much, but it was also not an amount of money that could be underestimated. Why don't you pay less? You have to treat the poor like we do with good food when you do" he said.
"That's how it works. Too stingy people can't survive in Reed City, Big Boss, you can offend anyone here but me. If you do something I don't like, I'll send you back to where you came from. Do you understand?"
