Victory in Life
Chapter 378

The next day, Jasper arrived at Easy Media half an hour before the meeting scheduled to begin.

Ryder, who arrived long before him, brought his team and several senior executives to greet him.

"How did it go? is it going well?" Jasper shook Ryder's hand and asked with a smile.

Ryder looked exhausted, but her expression showed excitement, "It's very busy, to be honest, the people at Easy Media can't do much because they don't have any experience in hosting large-scale banquets like this."

Just then, Easy Media's vice president's face flushed red as he stood beside her.

There was not much he could say since Ryder was the president of the company in Harbor City, there was no way he would pursue his position in Easy Media if he wanted to make money.

Plus, everyone had seen the power that Ryder's team had.

Everywhere, people tend to be impressed with people who have true skills.

"Mr Lawrence was right, we realized how lacking we were in that and we felt ashamed."

Thinking Jasper would scold them, the vice president was surprised to hear Jasper instead reassure them, "Don't worry about it, it all started from nothing before it could grow into something, with your experience now, with your own, you'll know what to do next time."

Jasper then turned to the vice president seriously, "Easy Media should learn from Mr. Lawrence and his team humbly, this is an opportunity that only other companies would like to have, understand?"

The vice president immediately brightened up and replied, "Understand me, Mr. Laine!"

Jasper nodded then walked towards the meeting room with a large group of people behind him, "Has the representative the higher-ups sent in already arrived?"

The vice president shook his head, "We've sent someone to pick them up, but they haven't come yet."

Jasper glanced at the time, "The meeting is less than ten minutes and they still haven't come?"

At that time, Jasper received a call from Jacob.

Jasper finally understood, it explained why the other party was so tall and mighty.

"Well, I'll be vigilant, it's set up now and no protest will change anything, unless you tell me that he has the ability to make me waive my right to host?" Jasper spoke clearly.

Jacob smiled, "The invitation has been sent and the banquet is less than a week, there is no way he can make you give up your rights, he is also not entitled to host the banquet even if he succeeds."

"The most he can do now is keep an eye on the meeting, especially the guest list if the company tries to play dirty, instead of him being entitled to determine who may or may not attend, since he also had to hand the list over to the superiors, basically, he came to be unreasonable and cause trouble, don't put it in the heart, Mr. Laine."

Understanding the deeper meaning behind his words, Jasper smiled. "Alright, thanks for the input."

Jacob hummed happily before he stammered, "Eh, Mr Laine? I wonder if I can go too?"

Combe's family performed very well this time around, and this phone call from Jacob had alleviated Jasper's many problems, of course, he wouldn't be calculative regarding such minor matters.

"Sure, I'll put you and your sister's name on the list as well. As a shareholder of Easy Media, I don't see any problems with you attending a banquet hosted by your own company" Jasper replied.

The fact that Jacob could be present was already something great and something that greatly increased his ego, however, the entire upper class in the Swallow Capital would be there, and everyone is proud to have their own way of getting invitations.

However, since the guest list is not final yet, most people who claim to be invited are just bluffing, now, Jasper not only promises his place on the guest list but also his sister.

Jasper was very nice to them.

Amidst Jacob's repeated thanks, Jasper hung up.

It's time for the meeting to start.

"It's 8:30, Mr. Laine, they still haven't come, should I urge their arrival?" ask the vice president carefully.

"No need, we'll start on time, it's not our fault he's not here" Jasper replied.
