Victory in Life
Chapter 373

Lisa, however, did not want to admit. He had never experienced such humiliation before, so he stood right in front of the two and blocked their path.

"What do you want?" Wendy was a little annoyed and she frowned as she spoke. Her tone was no longer as polite as when she tried to keep their relationship neutral before. Instead, his tone was fierce now.

"Listen, Miss Wendy, we're all classmates here, so I'm telling you that the man beside you is not worth your time! I'm just saying this for you because I can't stand watching it anymore." Lisa snorts haughtily.

"Not everyone can enroll in an MBA, and those who do are all resilient from both academic and family backgrounds. But look at the nobody next to you? All he has is talkin' you're just putting yourself down by being with him."

"Don't say that, Lis. We have to respect Wendy's decision." Ben laughed as he spoke, his expression polite.

"Maybe Wendy had never met many people before, and her limited social experience was the reason why she became an easy target for others to cheat. He would know that there were more extraordinary people outside after expanding on his experience, and he would soon know better than being together with a fool."

Lisa replied calmly, "Then it's too late."

"My cousin's been liking you for a long time, Wendy, so how about you give each other a chance? Date each other for a while and I'm sure you'll realize that she's amazing. At least, you'll realize that he's much better than that nobody who talks a lot."

Lisa sounds sincere, as if she truly believes that she did the right thing and is trying to save Wendy from disaster.

However, this only triggered Wendy's displeasure and anger.

Just then, Jasper patted the back of Wendy's hand to calm her down.

"Why am I a nobody who talks a lot?" ask Jasper.

As a man, there was no way Jasper would be silent when someone humbled him to this extent.

"We close our eyes and let you lie as you please, but you're wrong if you think this makes you worthy of contributing to our conversation. If this is how you act, then I'm clear once again. That's not who's talking so much that's who you really are. Or are you saying that I'm wrong?"

"You should know that, or you wouldn't stick to Wendy shamelessly, would you? you just love the fact that she's beautiful and rich. Do you think we don't know?"

"At least look at the mirror first. Do you think you have the ability to give Wendy the happiness and life she wants? It costs one million per year for an MBA, so forget about everything else, can you afford the tuition?"

Lisa sneering. He looked down on Jasper just because he came from a higher social class and somehow it made him better than him. "You can't even imagine how much money that is, but it's a different story for Ben. The President of the Chamber of Commerce Haddock is Ben's father, and Ben is the heir to the QC Group!"

"Ben started out in a position that no one like you has ever imagined since he was born, so what makes you think you can fight him?"

Then Lisa pulled out the key to Maserati's car from her LV wallet and spoke calmly, "Did you see this? Upscale Maserati Quattroporte, priced on the road at 3.8 million. If you weren't born with it, then you'd never have it no matter how hard you try. You poor beggar."

Jasper smiled and pulled out his car keys from his pants pocket and spoke, "And here I thought it was something special. Car keys, right? I have one too."

The large Bentley logo, with angel wings spread out on either side of the letter B, is a symbol of wealth and dignity.

"Not Maserati, but Bentley costs 5 million on the road. A little more expensive than yours. Too bad I didn't have it when I was young, but I have it now."

Then Jasper shrugged and glanced at Ben and Lisa, who were both shocked and embarrassed. She reached out to hug Wendy and smiled, her expression soft and calm.

Ben stared enviously at the arm that Jasper wrapped around Wendy's small waist and clenched his fists. He had never felt so humiliated before in his life.

"Benny, is that real?" Lisa asked in embarrassment.

"Impossible! Look at that nobody, even his clothes are cheap things you can buy from the streets. None of what she's wearing is more than 200 bucks, and yet you're telling me that she's driving a Bentley? We see them coming out of the regular Buick at the gate!"

Lisa brightly remembers him, thinking that he has been played with. He grunted furiously. "Just right! Even if it's Bentley, it's Bentley Wendy!"
